R/R: Had a good weekend MH sent me flowers since he couldn’t come home this week to visit. I’m looking forward to Friday and he will be home for a while. However I’m sorry but I really need to vent. His boss is already talking about taking him to travel to some other projects out west. But that should only be a few days at a time. I really miss him though and I know I should be happy with this but I hate all the traveling and I don’t even know what his job is, I never expected him to have a job like this. 

CS/Q: I can’t decide if I am finding temping anxiety inducing or not. I feel like I just look for things to be wrong with it.

@daisy0322 does he normally travel a lot for work or is this new? I’m sorry, I’d love for MH to travel every once in a while so I get the house to myself 😆 but it would suck having it so frequent. MH used to be an auditor and he’d travel from January till May and i hated it. We were just dating at the time

R/R: well I still don’t know when / if I ovulated for sure. I never got a blazing positive OPK but this was my first cycle using the Premom app to help me read the lines and it says it learns your pattern? I’ll probably get a BBT once I get my period. Temping has stressed me out in the past but I’d at least like to pinpoint O once to get an idea. I haven’t had O pain for the last several cycles and I had it pretty bad Saturday, so I jumped MH 😆 I’ve never had it that late in a cycle (16) so I have no idea what’s going on 

I had fun seeing my cousins over the weekend but as always, it was too short. I really hope Christmas happens this year so we can hang out longer. MH and I also got to go on a date on Saturday afternoon, which was fun!

Testing: Ugh. Why did I start testing. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Thought I saw something an easy at home cheapie yesterday but this morning its BFN. 

R/R: I took off last Thursday and Friday for our wedding anniversary. No one at work seemed to care that I was on vacation so I still worked. The silver lining is that I have less to come back to this morning. Weather held out from 12-3:30 yesterday which was great for Mother's Day Brunch. I am going to do an early one every year now. It was so much better to have the rest of the day afterwards. Especially after hosting. I wish I didn't start testing because now I feel kind of salty and depressed already at 10DPO. I have been feeling crappy but I guess it could also be PMS. Ergh.

@b_1029 well we have kind of an interesting situation. MH used to work in construction and was in the military. Honestly we both grew up kinda poor/ working class. We thought that was great and I have a two year degree and use to be an respiratory therapist before I quit to stay home. Only about 50% of people in our families even graduated high school. Well my husband did something while deployed that he can’t talk about but it landed him a really amazing government contractor job about 18 months ago as an intern. They LOVED him and he just thrived they gave him a huge raise and they’re sending him to school to get a degree so the can move him into the next level of the company. He works like freaking dog though trying to keep up with not the work but the social aspect. I hope I don’t offend anyone but we were raised a little “white trash” and this once in a million years situation happened to us that we kinda skyrocketed to a social class level that we don’t know. MH is adjusting better than me. It sounds stupid but things like golf outings at work and your boss inviting you to his office for bourbon we’re things we only thought happened on TV. We’re happy about it but it’s been really stressful. Which probably doesn’t make sense. But when you go from trash picking as a child for scrap to make cash and getting evicted every 3 months for your mom not paying rent to you boss sending home 150$ bottles of wine, and taking you to look at a project in California for a day but playing golf half the time in the matter of a year it’s incredibly overwhelming. (We were doing what we considered great before this we had a house two cars that ran we paid our bills. ) we’re trying to get comfortable and enjoy it though. I feel like an idiot I actually teared up writing this 🙄 I’m so happy for you get get some family time! I love seeing my cousins too ♥️ I’m trying to plan a trip to the casino with some of them (there’s 31 of us on one side) right now actually! Sorry for exploding my feelings on you 🙈

@daisy0322 wow!! What a story. It would be hard to adjust to such a sudden change when it’s not how you grew up or what you’re used to.

Sorry for posting & ghosting last week. Work kicked my butt and then we had a busy weekend.

R/R: Rant - I woke up in a "f*ck it" mood today. Not sure why since I had a pretty great weekend and actually am excited for work. Maybe because the weather is crappy here today and I get my second dose of the COVID vax this afternoon.

Rave - MH and I scored a beautiful antique side table yesterday! It's all original hardware and dates back to the 1800s. I had spotted it back in November when we took my mom to the antique mall, but it was almost $100 more expensive back then. When we saw it marked down yesterday (I was surprised it was still there!) I knew I just had to have it. It looks great in our living room, which is all decorated in Revolutionary War-era antiques.

@daisy0322 that is quite an adjustment and i can totally understand the struggle with it. also... not that i think you're saying this, but there is something to be said about a work/life balance and always worth evaluating if the money is worth it.

@anniemarie887 yeah ironically he works less hours when he’s home than he used to 🤣 I just feel like he’s gone a lot. Your weekend sounds perfect! No broken record haha. 

@boymama2018 the testing lure is so hard to fight! I always start out saying that I’m going to wait until AF is late then there I am at 10/11/12 dpo not waiting

@daisy0322 what an amazing story! I know it can be stressful-mh comes from a lot more money than I do and it’s been an adjustment (not complaining, but it is just very different from what I grew up with) but I hope you are able to enjoy it as well. My dad was military-he had a number of top secret assignments and meetings that were like “ok I’m leaving for a few days can’t tell you where I’m going or what I’m doing” and it’s weird! I can’t keep a secret, so I just don’t even understand, lol.

@anniemarie887 I feel you on being tired... it's like no matter how much sleep I get, it's never enough.  I feel lik there have been studies done that say you never really catch up on missed sleep, so there's that.
@shinyobjects I was a hardcore Grey's fan for the first 4 seasons, then I fell off the wagon.

@jlbaker08 was season 5 ghost sex season? I know a lot of people who stopped then. I probably would have except I didn’t have a lot going on at the time so I stuck with it and it got better.  It I totally understand. I don’t have that kind of patience anymore!
