Questions for FTM, or STM+? What is your favorite item/app/class during pregnancy?
GTKY: What sports do you/did you used to play? I am an equestrian so did eq team all through high school and still own my own horse. Can't ride at the moment though due to pregnancy!
Any appointments recently or coming up? How did it go? TW no heartbeat. I have another appointment next Thursday. Trying to hope for the best. End TW
What are you most looking forward to/most nervous about with this pregnancy? I’m feeling more nervous than anything else right now due to my last appointment.
Questions for FTM, or STM+? Not right now.
GTKY: What sports do you/did you used to play? None. I’m not really a sports person.
How far along are you? 7 weeks and “a few days” per the ultrasound tech, but waiting to hear from the doctor.. 8weeks 2 days since LMP started.
Any new symptoms? absolutely none. I can’t tell if my boobs are growing/same size/smaller. I feel like they’ve hurt for years so I don’t know if that’s relevant anymore lol. I feel normal.
Any appointments recently or coming up? How did it go?
Ultrasound yesterday. There was a heartbeat but I know nothing else, I wish there was more info.
What are you most looking forward to/most nervous about with this pregnancy?
I was hoping to be excited to tell people yesterday but I left more confused. I guess I’m looking forward to feeling safe enough to be excited.
Questions for FTM, or STM+?
**TW**I’m PGAL and past the last milestone I think. It’s a long complicated story I don’t want to go into, but the loss was never dated. Those PGAL and successful - how long after a milestone did you start feeling really safe?
GTKY: What sports do you/did you used to play? rugby in high school, and ball hockey as an adult. I miss ball hockey so much right now, had to stop during COVID.
@usedtobeknottie I would treat it as no news is good news for now. I don’t think they’d make you wait a week if they knew something was wrong. I know it’s hard but try not to let it get to you too much.
How far along are you? 7+5
Any new symptoms? Nothing new. Still vomiting/nauseous, so very tired, and achy boobies
Any appointments recently or coming up? How did it go? Not until April 6! Coming up quick now!
What are you most looking forward to/most nervous about with this pregnancy? I’m trying my best not to rush anything away by looking to forward in the future but of course there’s a lot I’m excited for. Saying that, I am looking forward to being in the second trimester so I can breathe a little sigh of relief knowing miscarriage risk is lower lol
Questions for FTM, or STM+?
GTKY: What sports do you/did you used to play? I used to play a lot actually! Baseball and softball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, gymnastics, ice skating, aaaand I think that’s it. My “main” sports though were cheerleading and baseball/softball. Then I discovered theatre and lost my fitness lol
@cd1122 hands down the two most useful things that I did while pregnant was take a baby first aid class at our hospital (I haven't had to use any but felt prepared) and a private hypnobirthing class. An epidural was always in my birth plan, but I wanted to labor until 6cm, I ended getting one at 7cm because I was super focused and able to work through contractions really well thanks to that class. Phenomenal teachings and I'm not even into like meditation, it's not actually hypnosis. I recommend it to all FTMs.
@usedtobeknottie I’m hoping I’ll be able to be excited again too. I just feel sad right now.
I am so sorry for your extra stress right now. I wish there’d be a way to get you in sooner... hopefully this time next week it’ll be an exciting time again❤️
@usedtobeknottie and @campbellcobb I am hoping for positive news for both is you! The worry over not knowing what goes on in your own body and not having definitive answers from medical professionals is the most frustrating part of the process!
TW loss:
Also, PGAL from last August and it took 2 weeks of bleeding and U/S and blood work and they didn't give any answers until it was all over.
How far along are you? 4w+5, early and scary
Any new symptoms? Boobs swelling, nausea but low grade, lots of headaches
Any appointments recently or coming up? How did it go? Got my first hcg blood draw yesterday and go for another Monday to see if these are going in the right direction. These were the most informative tests I had last time so I requested them and my doc agreed.
What are you most looking forward to/most nervous about with this pregnancy? This baby is very wanted and would time out perfectly and I just really want it to work out. I want to feel safe enough to tell people.
Questions for FTM, or STM+?
How did you handle the anxiety over every thing you put in your body? Does it go away or last the whole pregnancy?
GTKY: What sports do you/did you used to play? Not a team sports person, but I love to walk and hitting the punching bag

@campbellcobb @usedtobeknottie I'm thinking of you both and keeping everything crossed!
