I’ve used Mercari to buy things and both Mercari and Poshmark to sell. I haven’t used either a ton, but my experiences so far have been positive.

Mercari is not so affordable. Their prices are usually comparable to new prices. Poshmark, Good Buy Gear, facebook marketplace, offer up, eBay (make sure sellers have high rating), & Rebelstork. They are all legitimate. I have purchased from them before they all provide excellent customer service, if need be, and the products are usually very well taken care of.
