CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: "diagnostic" natural cycle / break from IUI/medicated cycles. Lots of vitamins and supplements for MH and I. Coming on to MH in a crude / but funny ways. See spoiler: 

Last night I had my fertility group therapy meeting; I went to give MH a kiss jus before getting on a call and motioned if he wanted to   later. We both LOLed. 

R/R: rave -- had a really good call this morning with my therapist. We've decided to have a standing monthly meeting to avoid crisis situation like I had a last week. I also was able to express/better formulate some random thoughts I've been having and it was good to have her weigh in / "talk me off the ledge". So, feeling much more relaxed right now. 

CS/Q: too lazy to post this AM; cervix is getting into position though and CM is starting to change. I expect O will be on Friday or Saturday.

@acleverusername that’s great about your therapist! Will be nice to have regular meetings! And the best GIF haha! Are your fertility meetings over Zoom/video conference?

R/R: Rant - AF came, throws off my whole mood and day it feels like, seems like the longest TWW to get to this point and then over so quick.

Rave: finally warming up here, now it’s only -15C outside haha

CS/Q: I know most of you test BBT, I don’t have a special thermometer for it and wondering if it increases or decreases stress for you? I typically like to have all the information available, but nervous this will be an added thing to do daily that will stress me out? Thoughts? Thanks!

@ronnie320 sorry about CD1. you can keep those temperatures, though lol. For me with the temps, it depends on the month, but overall I personally like having the data because then I don't have to wonder (for the most part) if I've ovulated.

R/R: blugh, I looked back through FF to the last time I took prednisone and that cycle was 49 days, with a 45 day one after it. Not optimistic about when/if I'll O this cycle now. eye's still swollen but not as much, but it's itchy again. bodies suck.

CS/Q: didn't bother with my temp this morning since I didn't fall asleep until after 5am and kept waking up

@acleverusername loling at your gif. That’s really great about your therapist! Monthly check-ins sounds like a good plan 

@ronnie320 oof sorry about a strong AF! As for BBT, it doesn’t stress me out at all. I enjoy the information and the clarity it brings me about my cycle 

@fantasyflyte ugh sorry you’re having such a horrid time with the prednisone. Hopefully it won’t increase your cycle length! Oof bad night of sleep as well. Get some good rest tonight!

R/R: so I talk in my sleep A LOT so I use a sleep recorder at night and the things I say are hilarious. Thinking about editing the sound clips into videos but then I think of how much effort that is and I think ehh never mind lol

@ronnie320 Sorry about strong AF, but yay for "warmer" temps! Haha. MH has been reading about the cold snap in the prairies. Yikes. And yes, my group is via Zoom. In "normal" times, it would have been in person. We're hoping to be able to meet at some point in 2021. 

@fantasyflyte argh, sounds like you're in for a long cycle; but hopefully the prednisone will start to take effect soon!

@jackie_dunny I hear you about the effort of editing audio & making videos. Maybe just transcription to start? That would be funny. You can start an "anonymous" Twitter account and post your nighttime ramblings there.

@ronnie320 I've been charting BBT for over a year, since I did bbt/CM charting for birth control prior to TTC. I think it's really helpful understanding where you are in your cycle, regardless of your goal (TTA or TTC). I actually don't do opks because I think it would be an added stress for me. CM alone wouldn't be enough for me to pinpoint O, so I need at least 2 signs. However, if your sleep is screwy and you aren't taking it at the same time every day, the bbt data isn't as valuable. 

@jackie_dunny MH talks in his sleep. The other night he just said "cucumber", but sometimes it's random conversations that make zero sense. I recorded some back in the day, i need to do it again!

As for me, blah blah blah this cycle is a hot pile of garbage (see Monday's post) and I'm already mentally over it and prepared for next cycle. Today is my normal O day if you go by my stats, but we'll see if that held true and how timing worked out in 2 weeks lol.
