Also- I'm still struggling to find a good set of baby nail clippers... preferably ones that I don't feel like I'm going to chop their tiny fingers with. Any suggestions appreciated!

@sunny_native14 I love the NailFrida! We still use it on my 3yo and it's never clipped his skin.  I've also heard a lot of people using cuticle cutters for baby nails.

My sister-in-law swears by filing instead of trimming newborn nails. We didn't like the baby clippers we had for either of our first two children so I'm trying out an electric nail file this time. Maybe something to consider?

@clevans1 @sunny_native14 The NailFrida also come with a nail file that's curved into an S shape.  We definitely used that the first few months!  I totally forgot about that until just now!

Oh my, I still remember thr little squeal DS let out when I over clipped his nail. I will definitely file instead of clip newborn nails this time around.

yes, I think it's one of those unfortunate rights of passage to accidentally clip a little bit of skin when cutting baby nails . I did it the first time I tried to cut her nails and my H has done her nails ever since
