R/R: I have an annoying meeting this morning. A client is doing something incorrectly and a partner at our firm was part of it - no one was internationally doing anything wrong but now that we know we need to fix it. However the partner still doesn’t believe it was actually wrong and wants to have a meeting today to discuss. I’m sure it will be a blast. Another rant is that I tried to order some gifts for DH last night and the store was advertising that it was the last day to guarantee shipping for Christmas but their site was having issues and wouldn’t let me check out. I ordered something from this store over the weekend and it’s coming tomorrow so I’m not overly concerned but it’s still annoying. Cant quite think of any raves yet 😆

@bows22 I despise meetings like the one you described.  They can be uncomfortable and are a waste of everyone’s time.  I hope it is over quickly for you!

R/R: I got the final item in my ukulele grant yesterday: a rolling ukulele rack. It's seriously adorable and I love having easy storage. Pictures below:

I spent a good chunk of yesterday recording accompaniments on the piano of different Christmas carols and then editing the tracks on my school iPad. I'm planning to record both of my choruses each singing 5 different Christmas carols and then creating a file to send out to my colleagues to help spread holiday cheer. Normally my chorus would sing carols through the hallways right before break but that's not really possible with covid this year. So recording them seemed like the best way to keep the tradition alive in some way.

@dobbysfavoritesock I'm with you on the cookies; made some this weekend and they're all gone. I'm planning on doing another Whole30 starting Jan 1, so I've been successful in justifying my current sweet excesses.

@gingermama29 OMG that ukulele stand is seriously adorable! As is your idea to spread cheer with recorded carols. If you're allowed, you should post them to Soundcloud and share with us. 

@chindimples04 your day doesn't sound very fun. I took a Covid test a few weeks ago, and it wasn't that bad. They don't tickle your brain, like the early ones used to.

R/R: okay, so I've added Ashwagandha root to MH's vitamin batch a few weeks ago, and holy cow does it ever work... his sex drive is through the roof. There used to be times we went the full TWW w/o sex, but we've done it 5 times already. I'm legit shocked at its efficacy. Obviously I went looking for a research study to confirm my personal observations. Here's one.

R/R: Overall, it's a decent day. Weather is still freezing cold and windy. But also woke up at 4am (yay insomnia, this is common), laid in bed for 2 hours and fell back asleep in time to get another 30 minutes of sleep.

acleverusername interesting, never heard of that before. Admittedly, I am usually the one with low drive compared to my DH (we are both probably about average overall). TBI, but our challenge is usually in the "finishing" department, in the past, there were a few rounds of TWWs where we couldn't successfully get across the line. I felt bad and frustrated at the same time. Glad to hear the supplement has helped!

chindimples04 Yikes, sorry on the COVID test...and the IEP meeting. I have been in my fair share of those, if the family, the student or the situation is difficult, they can really be draining. Also, random, but when I read your name I always want to say "chip n dales" not sure why lol.

gingermama29 Oh my goodness, that is so cute! Our elementary students would love that! but we don't have a music teacher, so I guess it wouldn't get used at the moment. Congrats on the grant!

bows22 ugh, sorry on the gift dilemma. But that reminds me, I still need to figure out a gift for my DH...I am so bad at this.

Thanks all! The meeting went well as far as I think I clearly explained what was happening and made good points, but the partner is a jerk. I rehashed the whole convo with my boss after (also a partner) and he nodded through the whole thing so I know I said the right things so oh well. 

@dobbysfavoritesock working from home most days has made cookie eating a huge problem. I hid most of them from myself in the freezer for now haha. 

@gingermama29 you are going to make your colleagues cry with that video! Such a sweet idea 

@chindimples04 good luck with your covid test! I’ve been tested a couple of times and one was awful and one was fine - hopefully wherever you are going is in the “fine” category!

@acleverusername my rave is now that the meeting is over?? haha. Glad you are getting good results from the new supplement! That sounds exhausting though haha.

R/R: My niece who lives with me didn’t come home AGAIN last night, after she texted and said she’d be home in a couple hours. I’m so over it, after we just had a convo Sunday about how we can better communicate and be respectful. 

CS/Q: recap is that it’s my first month with bbt and opk, usual cycle of 25 or 26days. FF is giving crosshairs for CD 22. Either I’m having a ridiculous cycle or I don’t know how to chart. Likely the latter but AF shall let me know I suppose. I’m so over looking at it because it’s stressing me out.

@bmo88 and @acleverusername I haven’t heard about that either. We struggle during the TWW. Honestly, the last 2 months have been a struggle overall, similar to what you’re saying @bmo88

@bows22 happy to hear the meeting is over and that boss is on your side; though sucks about jerk partner. 👎🏻Re: sex... yeah, it is exhausting! I might have to reduce his dosage to every other day! 
@emmylou78 I thought you were going to ask her to move out? That's not the kind of stress you need in your life when TTC. Re: sex, I definitely agree that TTC puts so much stress on both partners, and it has the opposite effect. Are you EDing or EODing during your FW?

@acleverusername She has no where to go, so I had her set some rules she thought she could stick to. She’s 19 @gingermama29

and its so sporadic @acleverusername. EOD would be best for us but it hasn’t been. I think next month will be better if this one doesn’t work out. It was just a lot of new stuff this month
