Re: GTKY Thursday 12.10

  • Definitely #1
#1 is like 200 sq ft bigger than what we are in now and I love being in a tiny house. My only wish is one more room for sewing/crafting.
I don't know what I would do with a massive house now haha!

  • #4. Gimme that lake life!
  • Loading the player...
  • Ohh I’m so torn!! I think #3 because I love that big porch. But I want to visit @fameonmain2 at that gorgeous lake house...
  • If I couldn't make any changes, I'd pick #4. However, I'd like house 5 (with less square footage) to be in #4's location. Give me a modern home on lake in a wooded area and I'm in heaven!

  • #4 for sure. I'd give up so much in a dream home to live on a lake.
  • I I love the porch on #2! Put it on some land and I may never leave!

  • #4 for sure. MH loves to fish. When we bought our new house we had to compromise, but hopefully we can buy something with some land and a pond one day!
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Without knowing what the insides look like, I'd have to go for 2. It's more homey looking than the modern designs, but not old fashioned.
  • #4 we are lake people through and through

DS: 6/1/18 (Pre-E; IUGR; seizures; NICU)
    TTC #2: 12/2019
Sept 2020: HSG possible blocked right tube
    Nov 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFN
    Dec 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFP!!! EDD 9/18

  • @runningoncookies totally agree on #3 because of the porch! I wish we had a front porch so badly.

@chindimples04  I felt like #2 gives me a suburban vibe versus having land which made me lean toward #3. I l live in the suburbs now but I would love to be more secluded!

The "obstacle" is my husband who won't live in a smaller home.

I would choose number 1. I really want well designed and intentionally used space. Our 2800 sq ft home is way too big and we only use the basement for storing junk.
  • #4! I want the lake life. #2 looks a lot like my current generic boring house.
  • #4, I'd love to be on a lake in the woods
