R/R: ugh, I slept through my temp alarm this morning. I hate when that happens so close to O. 😬 Yesterday I found 2 fiddle leaf fig plants for $3.25! I’m so stoked. I’ve heard they can be finicky so fx that I don’t kill them! Anyway, today I’m just gonna work on some Christmas shopping and hang around the house. Hope you guys have a good one.

R/R: So I was so proud of myself this holiday season because I planned all my gifts out for Christmas way back in mid-late November. I am a huge procrastinator so this is pretty big for me haha. The only person I couldn’t figure out was my mom, who is typically pretty easy to shop for so I wasn’t concerned. Well last night I found the PERFECT gift on Etsy and the deadline for Christmas shipping has already passed - UGH! I’m totally kicking myself for not getting this done earlier!! Now I have to think of a less perfect gift that she will still love, but I will know that it’s not what I wanted to get her. Just a little self-rant today haha!

@runningoncookies that's so frustrating! It seems like post offices everywhere are delayed right now - when I was getting stamps the other day the woman in front of me had to pay close to $100 to get a package to where she was sending it for Christmas.

R/R: My school committee voted to bring all students back by the first week of Feb. last night. INFURIATING. I have been fuming all day and I don't have it in me to rant more than this, but of course this just flies in the face of the numbers we're seeing right now. Ridiculous.

CS/Q: nothing to see yet. Weird temp spike this morning but I think it's bc I slept so poorly (up at 2:45 AM -- ugh).

@photographerwife I’m sorry you slept through your alarm but jealous that you have the ability to sleep through an alarm! 🤣 The wind blowing outside often wakes me up, and I sleep with a box fan on! 🤣 Good luck with the plant. I am not a green thumb at all!
@runningoncookies Is there rush shipping available? I’d almost venture to try it, especially if it’s perfect!
@fameonmain2 no!!! I am so angry for you! 🤬🤬Our district has been saying we’ll probably go back after winter break but our numbers nowhere near suggest that’s a safe thing to do. I wish they took the safety of staff into consideration more.

R/R: Today is my TTC month-iversary. 👎🏼 Boo to that. But, I’m actually in a really good place mentally, so I’m taking it as a win. :-)

CS/Q: I already got my positive OPK today! I’m shocked and thrilled that things seem to be regulating back to my pre-birth control self.

@fameonmain2 yikes! I’m sorry to hear that your district made that decision! Maybe it will change before the time actually comes?

@chindimples04 ugh no I wish! The shop that I found is a person who does these gorgeous sketches of animals, and I wanted to have her do a picture that my mom had taken of their dog. And she said that she would maybe be able to get it done by the end of the month, but not by Christmas. I ended up buying it anyway with a backup gift in case it doesn’t come in time...this way I have a birthday present for her too already haha!! I’m so glad to hear that you’re feeling in a good place mentally!

R/R: does anyone have a suggestion for making cinnamon-ginger tea palatable? I'm not a tea fan and my obgyn told me to drink cinnamon ginger tea daily to help regulate ovulation, but I don't like tea. I tried just straightup cinnamon and ground ginger in boiling water with a bit of lemon juice and honey, no likey. In the meantime I'm going to try to work cinnamon into other areas of my diet, but I'd really like to be able to drink the tea.
