    WAYDTGKU: charting, OPKs

R/R: I'm tired, overwhelmed, have a migraine, just generally grumpy today. Happy to be home on Wednesdays but I am feeling like I have too much on my plate right now. I'm going to talk to my advisor today about taking an incomplete for one of my courses to see if that helps. I'm very bad at asking for help and giving myself a break so this is a big step for me. I imagine that all of this stress is not help with ttc.

    CS/Q: nothing to see yet

  • @fameonmain2 I’m sorry you’re feeling overwhelmed, but I’m proud of you for advocating for yourself!

    Month/Cycle: 13/12

    CD: 4

    WAYDTGKU: Clomid, ovidrel, IUI #3

R/R: I have a day full of meetings and prep work today ugh! Counting down the days until winter break. This virtual learning stuff just never gets easier! One of the only good things about working from home is that it allowed me to lay in bed for 45 minutes after my alarm went off trying to wake up from my Clomid hangover. It’s nice to not have to put on real pants and make myself look presentable when I feel gross.

  • I suck at being a supporter right now. I’ll try to be better. ❤️
@fameonmain2 I hope you are able to find a solution that helps you feel less stressed. ❤️
@runningoncookies 8 days til winter break here! We can do it! I hope you have an your comfiest clothes to make today better.

    Month/Cycle: 6/7

    CD: 12

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, BBT, HIO EOD, preseed, vitamins

R/R: with DH switching to nights, I’ve had a hard time figuring life out with this new schedule. Thankfully, about HIO schedule is still in tact, but everything else seems to be out the window. My house is a disaster and it’s weird being alone at night. My sleep is suffering too, because I know he’s not home. I hope I get used to this soon.

CS/Q: Hoping to see a positive OPK tomorrow. 🙏🏼

  • @runningoncookies love not having to put real pants on! I put on workout gear in the hope that I would be motivated to get on the bike but that hasn't happened yet...

@chindimples04 I hope you are able to adjust to this new schedule soon. DH and I have the same schedule, but my parents worked opposite shifts for most of my childhood. It's not easy -- but I think you will get used to it eventually. hugs
  • @fameonmain2 ugh, sorry the migraine's hitting you too. I just wrapped one up myself, they're seriously the pits. I hope yours improves ASAP.

@runningoncookies ugh, sounds like one of those days. I hope you're feeling better by now.

@chindimples04 schedule changes are hard, I hope things even out for you soon.

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 19

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, CM

R/R: Was worried leading into today because I had an appointment to establish care with a new OB/GYN, and wanted to talk to her about my irregular cycles and such. Actually left the appointment feeling much better about things than I expected. Got an official diagnosis of PCOS, but probably mild, given my irregular long cycles, weight, facial hair growth and acne. She's not super worried about us being able to conceive and she remarked that she saw CM during the pap so I'll probably ovulate in the next 5-10 days, which is in line with what I expected based on my history and OPKs. We're planning for me to actively lose weight (currently at 280ish, her goal for me for 6 months from now is 250) and she wants me to, in addition to a healthy diet and exercise, drink cinnamon ginger tea daily to help with ovulation regulation (just cinnamon and ginger boiled to make a tea, optional lemon juice and/or mint for flavor). Since I'm due for a physical anyway, she wants me to have my primary care doctor run a few specific bloodwork numbers for her (insulin, thyroid, etc.), and she'll run hormones for me in a few months if I'm not pregnant and want to get a baseline.

Overall I feel good and I liked the doctor, she listened to me and we created a plan without making me feel bad about my weight and whatnot.

Also, today's the first day in almost a week that I'm not weighed down by a migraine so woo!

CS/Q: nothing exciting. I really need to level off my bedtime/waketime though.

  • @chindimples04 sorry that you’re finding the schedule shift difficult. I’m sure that is so hard.

@fantasyflyte I’m feeling different but I wouldn’t exactly say better haha, I won’t feel better for probably a week after my last Clomid dose, my groggy hangover feeling from the morning has turned into a moody headache which is just SO fun! I usually don’t start getting moody until like day 3-4 so that makes me a little nervous. I’m glad that you’re feeling happy with your new doctor! It sounds like she really listened to you.
  • @fantasyflyte I’m so glad you are feeling happy with the new doctor! It’s such a relief to be heard.
