I have the owlet too and I liked it. My baby was a premmie and was so small that the small one didn’t fit so we couldn’t use it for a long time. It would’ve really helped in the beginning when I had severe PPD.
@mindyb2019 I also have the owlet. It is worth every penny. We used it from the first night home until around 12 months. I will definitely be using it this time too. One other cool thing we have is the Nanit Plus Camera. They now sell breathing bands and breathing band sleep sacks. The Nanit monitors the respiratory rate off of the breathing band. We still use that with dd.
@mindyb2019 We got the sock as a gift from my brother but I would say it’s 100% worth it and I would have gladly bought it myself, it was the only reason I was able to sleep at all when I had a newborn, I also had PPA and that small bit of reassurance was crucial for me.

@_orchid_ we bought so many things second hand! The Owlet, dockatot, baby bjorn bouncer, and a halo. All really great deals. Plus we got to meet other parents in the neighborhood ☺️
@MelissaMay82 yes to the Nanit! It’s the best. We didn’t get the sleep bands but thinking about it. I’m def going to get a new camera for the new baby.
@mc0303 wow sounds like you had great luck with what you bought! I've had mixed luck with stuff I bought for ds2, but this round I have a lot of friends who are done with kids so I'm hoping so be able to buy from people I trust
Thanks guys for all your info on the owlet. I'll definitely be buying that for sure 😀 I need the peice of mind with my PGAL brain. I just worry about everything.
I wanted an owlet but after hearing my friends’ stories of many false alarms and the stories about it burning little babies feet, I thought it would stress me out too much.
