How many months/cycles had you been TTC? Almost 27 months and 21 cycles...I hope that’s the last time I ever have to count that up!!
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) Since July 2019...I think my first post was on 4th of July last year!
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) I felt like the IUI was timed perfectly with ovulation! Had bloating & discomfort for about a week after the IUI...the discomfort subsided for a few days, but it came back with a mission to make me very uncomfortable! Had an ultrasound on 08/20 that confirmed mild OHSS, so that’s been a joy...the bloat was out of control, but has been getting a little better each day! The US this morning confirmed that I still have enlarged ovaries and some free fluid, but at least I’m feeling more comfortable! Apparently the stims worked a little too well on me! I’m on daily shots of Lovenox to reduce the risk of blood clots...was hoping I was done with injections, but not so much!! I feel like I’m extra thirsty and just feel kind of blah at times (but that’s has a lot to do with the OHSS as well)! I’m supposed to take it easy in general, which is what I’ve been doing basically since the IUI!
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? We looked at the test together at 10DPIUI and said well, that’s negative. As I was disposing of my sample, I leaned down and saw that there was actually a faint line!! DH couldn’t see it at first, but then he realized there was actually something there and I wasn’t just crazy! 😂 I tested daily until the first beta and it got slightly darker each day!
I am so grateful for you all, you have been my safe haven over the past year! I will continue to lurk and love-tit here until there isn’t a single name that I recognize!! You are some of the strongest ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and I’m hoping for a mass exodus here very soon!! I have made so many close friends (you know who you are) 💜💜💜, and I’m so thankful this place brought us together...but now it’s time for everyone to get the heck out of here! Special shout-out to the IF ladies...you all rock and are true warriors!! I’m so excited for all the treatments happening now and that are just around the corner!! I’m rooting you all on so dang hard!! I’m a PM away if anyone ever has any questions about PCOS or any of the treatments I’ve gone though (Clomid with no ovulation, Letrozole for a million cycles, and then injectables with IUI), and I guess OHSS now too.
