I’m a “Clean it up before FW!” kinda girl.😄 MH made a comment recently that the RE gets more smooth action than he does😬 so I think I need to step up my game.
@keikilove me too, although I am usually pretty good about shaving my legs in the summer. I fully admit that I cleaned up the bikini area before my egg retrieval!
I’m a keep it up all the time girl. I'm super picky about my legs and other areas being shaved constantly lol I like being smooth all the time 😆 No waxing for me.
I'm lazy. I'm usually apologizing for hairy legs to DW ( I maybe shave them once a month, or if we are visiting family and my legs will be visible) 😂. Granted, she does as much, if not less, maintenance. 🤷
I have a funny story about bikini waxing. Years ago, I was painting my grandmother's nails and she told me I should think about being an esthetician. I said I didn't think I'd be comfortable giving bikini waxes, particularly Brazilian waxes. Well, my 85 year old grandmother didn't know what a Brazilian wax was and insisted I explain it to her. Let's just say she didn't believe me at first and her reaction was priceless.
@emeraldduchess you really need to give us specifics about this conversation with your grandma.
I’ve really let myself go during the pandemic. I used to shave my legs every few days but now it’s like every 2 weeks. I’m embarrassed but I don’t even apologize to DH anymore. He doesn’t care. Well, not true, he says he doesn’t care but I know he likes it when I’m smooth for him.
I do my own Brazilian waxes at home I got a wax warmer and hard wax beads on Amazon and I do it myself usually every month after AF is gone. I actually have an eczema patch in my pubic hair which gets itchier with long pubic hair and irritated by shaving so waxing is pretty much my only option.

i missed this fun weekend GTKY so i am jumping on! i am very much keep it clean all the time. had to give up the waxing for 3 months during pandemic, but literally went back the week they opened. i time the wax for right before FW so its nice ---unless there is a swimsuit occasion at a different time of the month, then that gets priority. legs i do every few days, or obviously if wearing shorts/FW i do on each of those days. @krash_ i could NEVAHH do that to myself though!! go you!
I'm always a clean it up down there for FW kind of gal. Lately I haven't been bothering with my legs - honestly a few weeks ago may have been the first time I shaved all summer.

I've been trying to shave once a week, my husband doesn't mind it that much but part of me feels badly for slacking off. I'm actually debating "dressing up" a bit more (i.e. might put on some makeup occasionally, maybe wear the new clothes I bought for no particular reason), just to change it up. I've been enjoying giving my hair and skin a break, but kind of miss looking pretty.
I usually do some serious maintenance twice a month because I can't stand it out of control. Bikini line has been taken care of a couple times a week because we have a cottage and are in bathing suits every weekend. That's also the reason I shave once a week.
I had a golf outing this last weekend and we didn't go up to the cottage so guess what? No shaving took place. lmao. Oops...it just takes so LONG! But I will admit I do love the feel of smooth legs!
@inthewoods23 I'm impressed that you went months without shaving your legs! Winter is on it's way so I will be at that point soon.
@emeraldduchess That is is amazing. I have never had any sort of wax except eyebrows, but I would be open to waxing just about anything to minimize the overall time I have to spend grooming.
@chindimples04 #marriedlife right? "I'll shave when I have to."
@krash_ Was it hard to get yourself to actually pull the wax off the first time? I feel like I would just freeze in terror lol. However, I said that about injections and I give myself those now!
@babyfeverbeliever it definitely took a "one, two, three, deep breath...PULL" the first time. After a couple times the hair is finer and more sparse so it's not as bad.
