  • How's everything going? Not bad, mostly staying on track (not perfectly, but definitely an improvement)

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? This week I want to incorporate actual workouts (rather than just long walks, which are great but I want to push myself a bit more and build more strength), so the struggle will be my usual skill at avoiding exercise. Another struggle will be the weather, we might be getting rain from the hurricanes/tropical storm remnants later on this week which might kill my kayaking plans. Weather is also heating back up, I've been enjoying the "cooler" sub-90 weather. 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? Still not quite where I want it, but my step count last week was double where it had been. Despite some indulgences my weight is overall on a downward trend as well.

  • @akoros You can do it with the workouts! If all else fails (due to weather) you can always try a workout on youtube from the comfort of home. Good luck with getting them in this week! I have a similar focus. We can be accountability buddies if you want. :smile:

    What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week? I need to get my step count waaaay up this week. Last week wasn’t good due to too much work/critical deadlines. 

    How's everything going? Surprisingly well. I got things done by the deadline, so now I can focus on bringing my life back in balance. 

    What has you motivated or struggling this week? I am motivated to get some actual workouts in this week. Once IVF starts I can’t do anything more than casual walks, so I want to use this time between now & then to get some good runs in. I always feel amazing after going for a run. 

    What's a "small win" you have from last week? Shockingly, I lost a bit of weight despite all my sitting last week. I did make sure to get up almost every hour for 250 steps per hour, which must’ve paid off in the activity department. Plus I squeezed in a few quick walks. So at least it was something.
