R/R: I have my first faculty meeting of the school year today. I can't decide if I think it will be better or worse to see the usual suspects droning on over Zoom vs. in person...
CS/Q: Apologies if this is answered elsewhere, but my cycles have settled into a (for me) weird pattern over the past several months, and I'm not sure of the best way of charting them. I tend to have one day with a small amount bright red flow followed by 2-3 days of barely existent spotting or nothing followed by a more or less normal five days or so of AF. Where would put CD1? Any pros/cons to doing it one way vs. the other as long as I am consistent?
@inthewoods23 thank you!

@kh59 If you can turn off your camera, then muchhhh better on Zoom. You can get so much done! RE: charting. I usually spot for 1-2 days before I actually get real flow or AF. I usually wait for the flow for day 1. I'm not an expert, but everything I read keeps saying that you shouldn't count spotting before the actual flow as flow. I probably would wait for the actual "flow" to mark CD1. But that's just me.
Well, AF showed up today after a couple of days of spotting. Womp womp.

WAYDTGKU: charting
R/R: These past couple of weeks were so stressful for me that I really wasn't expecting anything, but it's still always disappointing to start a new cycle. Going to try to remain busy today to keep my mind off of it!
CS/Q: nothing to see right now
@kh59 I’m not even close to an expert since I just started paying attention to all this last month, but I do the same as the ladies and don’t count days of spotting. CD1 will be when it’s a more traditional AF. But I also don’t tend to spot with the exception of last month where I had 1 day.

WAYDTGKU: DTD & OPKs (CB Dig & Pregmate)
R/R: On my 4th day of high (flashing smiley) reading with the CB Digital. Haven’t tested with a Pregmate yet today but as of last night, results were still far from positive. I am happy I get a couple days of high on the CB Digital, but also frustrating when it’s so many because we wear out DTD in the beginning and by day 7 when I finally get Peak and positive Pregmate- we’re sick of DTD. 🤣
CS/Q: None

WAYDTGKU: NTNP
R/R: I’m feeling frustrated, down and blah today. I’m feeling kinda depressed to be honest and overwhelmed with emotions. I was sitting with DH last night on the couch and was just feeling sad so I burst into tears crying and sobbing out of nowhere. I’ve had about enough of my body not working properly and spotting everyday on and off. I’m frustrated and feeling defeated. Even though we’re not trying this cycle, I feel like my body prob won’t even O either( no signs of it) and I want it to go back to normal and do it’s thing for the months that we will be trying.
CS/Q: I got nothing
@fameonmain2 Sorry for AF showing up
womp! I understand it’s always disappointing. I feel ya there.
@kh59 GL with your first meeting of the school year. Hope it all goes well.
@chindimples04 Happy Birthday girl! Hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy your time with your family. ❤️ Get spoiled!! Hopefully your dip is before O.
@kh59 oh man, I'd pick zoom over in person for faculty meetings any day. You can definitely do other things during the meeting on zoom. I'm pretty sure I played Animal Crossing during a Google meeting once. No regrets. 😂
@fameonmain2 sorry for AF and all the stress.
@sienna221 FX for O today so you can get a HIO break!
@mindyb2019 sending hugs friend. I hope things turn around for you and go back to normal soon.

R/R: it is so sunny and gorgeous today! Finally a comfortable day in the 70s without humidity! I'd like summer so much more if this was how the weather was for the season. Soaking up sunshine and fresh air today!
CS/Q: OPKs remain super negative. Still no sign of O.

R/R: Spider has decided to take up residence in our mailbox. Thanks 2020.
CS/Q: So period has stopped, so now making me question once again if this was actually a second one or still part of the first one that started on the 3rd. I wasn't expecting this month to be too terribly regular so I'm hoping temping and OPK can give me a better idea of where I'm at in my cycle so we can actively start trying next month. On the plus side, at least I didn't have to deal with any cramping this time around but was feeling more fatigued that usual, though it's hard to tell when I have any insomnia nights. Either way, I'm not too terribly worried yet, just a bit anxious to see what the next month brings.
