**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

    Month/Cycle: 2

    CD/DPO: 26

    Timing: -6,-1, O

    Typical LP length: 14 days

Testing: every day for the past 3 days and nada 😩

R/R: We have been moving a little along the past couple weeks and all our furniture will be in today 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 yay!

GTKY: Name a favorite Instagram account you follow. Why is it a favorite?

I love @thelesliejordan (who doesn't??) and @itsabandoned (pictures of old, overgrown abandoned buildings - love looking at those!)

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 24

    Timing: Not sure

    Typical LP length: 12-13

Testing: BFN this morning. I will probably keep testing with my cheapies because I have no self control.

R/R: Pretty sure I’m out this cycle but there is still hope if I ovulated a little later then I thought. Today would only be 10 DPO if I O’ed on CD14 so I should know for sure within the next two days. My friend who tested positive for Covid says she is feeling better today so that is a relief. I’m hoping she is through the worst of it.

    CS/Q: No chart

GTKY: Name a favorite Instagram account you follow. Why is it a favorite?

I’m on Insta but I don’t follow a lot of accounts other then people I know irl. I’m interested to see what everyone else follows!

@zookeeperc sorry about the BFNs. Same boat over here.

@jenotontx sorry about your BFN, too, but holding out hope for this cycle for you. So glad your friend is feeling better!

    Month/Cycle: 2/1

    CD/DPO: CD37/18DPO

    Timing: -4, -1 +1

Typical LP length: 15-16 days I thought 🤔

Testing: BFNs - just WFAF now.

R/R: it's the weekend 🙌 but where TF is AF!?

    Chart in spoiler
I'm a little worried the dip around CD 28/29 was O but my CM doesn't fully align aside from two sticky days right before but it's been dry since until the last few days of lotiony (nowhere near EWCM in texture or volume)

@halfbakedharvest is amazing! She has a food blog and 2 cookbooks and I'm obsessed. DH asks when we're cooking if things came from her and gets excited if so. Her flavor balance is 👌 Some bloggers aren't quite so professional but this is her full time business and she posts recipes every day. Her IG stories awesome and she lives in a really cool mountain area in Colorado with goats lol. She also isn't super promotionally with giveaways and "follow/like to enter" crap b/c her business is her blog.

  • @jenotontx So glad your friend is feeling better! And FX the bfns are just because it's too early!

@kvh22 Sorry this cycle is messing with you. I hope it sorts itself out soon!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 21/4

    Timing: -3, -1, O

Typical LP length: 10 to 11 days

Testing: I'll start peeing on my expired wondfos on Monday...I mean...I have to use them up anyways right?

    R/R:

    CS/Q:

GTKY: Name a favorite Instagram account you follow. Why is it a favorite?

I don't really follow anyone I don't know IRL so I have nothing interesting to add here:)

  • @kvh22 I guess it’s possible although your chart would definitely make me think it was CD 19 as FF has it marked. I wonder if this could even be a anovulatory cycle?

@jenotontx I was wondering an-O, too, but would be really bummed. I realized I changed my battery on CD 23 but my temps line up with previous cycles of pre and post O so that would be a major coincidence PLUS CM. AND I was expecting to ovulate way later and very surprised to get crosshairs so early so not a self fulfilling prophecy or anything. Having cramping today so hoping AF shows tmrw.

  • Well I was going to test again this morning but then discovered I’m down to my last wondfo! So I’m going to hold out until Wednesday when I’m actually late or just wait for AF to start. I have been pretty crampy but no spotting or anything yet. Spotting would even give me some hope it could be implantation but I got nothing! 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • kvh22kvh22 member
    @jenotontx crampy could be good!

Temp stayed up this morning but 19dpo I thinkkkkk I'm getting AF today finally. Period cramps started yesterday and they feel different than my 7-11dpo cramping. More painful lol. I just want to start my next cycle already!

@kvh22 have you considered using Proov strips to confirm ovulation? I feel like I'm starting to sound a rep for them, but they seriously "saved" me. I was able to get more medical attention (i.e. CD21 blood test ordered) because my Proov strips weren't turning positive (which could either mean no ovulation or low progesterone).

@acleverusername Oo interesting. How quickly do they ship/do I need to use the first strip. How many cycles do you recommend? And do you have a better code than the 10% off (not sure if they do referral codes).

Also, sorry, *TW* LC in spoiler
I just had my first postpartum period at the begining of this cycle and am still breastfeeding my 14 month old so anovulation can be common. I conceived under these circumstances before so have not had this issue but am BFing more with the quarantine since daycare is closed.

    Babysizer Cravings Pregnancy Baby Tracker

  • @kvh22 it would probably be too late for this cycle. They advise to take a baseline test right after your period ends, then confirm ovulation 3-4 DPO and test again 7-10DPO as it can confirm if progesterone levels are high enough. If the shade of test line between baseline and 3-4 DPO is lighter, it means you've ovulated. But low progesterone can still be a problem which is the case for me.

@acleverusername oh yeah, I'm WFAF at this point. So do I need CD 3 as a baseline or is it only 7-10 days after suspected O? Their website is very marketing-y (I say as a marketing major) and actually very unhelpful for information on when you're supposed to take the test and how long shipping is (at least from mobile).

    Babysizer Cravings Pregnancy Baby Tracker

  • @kvh22 So I normally do a baseline test on CD6 or CD7, as soon as my period is over. Your test result should be negative (though oddly enough, they went with 2 lines visible == negative test). Then, what the actual test instructions say is to do the test for 4 days, 7-10DPO (each kit comes with 5 strips so it’s good enough for 1 month). The test is FDA approved to confirm ovulation only, and if you get positive tests those days (you want to see 1 line), it means you’ve ovulated.

However, they have a Facebook support group and I noticed folks using it slightly differently in that: 1 baseline test (optional... you can reuse a previous month’s baseline), 1 test around 3-4 DPO to “confirm” ovulation (here you’re looking for a test line that is lighter than your baseline test line), and then testing on 7-10DPO to confirm that your body is producing sufficient progesterone. Anyway, it’s a bit complicated but I hope I explained it okay. I’d say that shipping has never taken more than 3-4 days for me.

@acleverusername okay, awesome. I'm sold! Thank you for the thorough explanation on which days. That's super helpful. I thought AF would arrive today but still nothing (although still crampy). Unfortunately, if I O'ed later, our timing wouldn't work so I'm definitely just WFAF.
