R/R: IT'S FRIDAYYYYYY . I finally completed a work document yesterday that has been in the works for WEEKS so that felt so good to finish. Things just really feel on the up and up now. I'm finally out of the dumps! That feeling lasted a month I need to remember to get my father's day card in the mail! I kept forgetting this week. My dad will probably get it on Monday. Oops. But he insisted on not having us over this weekend and suggested we come out for 4th of July. Who knows, maybe I'll be hiding a pregnancy from the family

Testing: Did another Proov test this morning and it was much better; meaning I can confirm I've ovulated. (As an aside for those who asked yesterday, normally the Proov test is supposed to be done 7-10DPO (for 4 days), but I'm on their Facebook group and loads of ppl are testing 3DPO to "confirm ovulation" and then 7-10DPO to confirm sufficient progesterone levels). Also checked cervix this morning and it's a) still there; b) still up high. 

R/R:
Rave: work is keeping me really busy and that's probably going to help with the TWW. 
Rant: DH's work is really busy as well, he's working late in to the evening. About a month ago, I finally managed to get him physically active by going out for daily morning walks. But, he won't go on his own. However, I've also been wanting to do some professional development and only time I can do it is before work starts, which means I can't do walks in the morning. So, DH said we'll do them in the evening instead. Except that he's usually "too tired" in the evenings to do them. (Granted, I know that he's legit tired... but hey, so am I and I still drag myself out for a 30 min walk.) He's got issues with his swimmers and I feel like regular exercise is a pretty basic thing he can do to improve that. Alas... now I'm in a situation where if we don't both go for walks in the morning, then he's essentially has 0 exercise. I've been pretty encouraging / supportive yet indirect about why he should be doing it but I can feel myself getting ready to just lay it out like it is. Argh!

CS/Q: Temps dipped a bit this morning if looking at my premom bbt thermometer. But I've also been transitioning to Tempdrop (apparently it takes 14 days for it to "learn" my routine) and that one showed a bump.

@inthewoods23 Congrats on finishing up big work doc! Must feel GREAT! I hope your Dad gets the card in time. USPS has been really slow delivering stuff during the pandemic, but if you're in the same city, it should be OK.

I had a CP on my last transfer, beta came back questionable and then dropped 2 days later. I'm still going to hang around a bit, but for my sanity I'll have to stop the daily checking in because I'm still really triggered by how my last IVF cycle ended. I'm trying to just hunker down and wait for beta.  *End TW**

I'm basically going to spend my weekend on my hammock swing, because YOLO. I got 2 miles in this morning, I have half a mile left to finish my half marathon challenge! I also have to run to the bookstore to do my curbside pickup order, it closed before I could get there yesterday.

@inthewoods23 Ooooooh how sweet would it be to have to hide a pregnancy!!! Hoping so hard for that!!!!!! Also, that reminds me I have to get a card for my FiL tonight! 

@acleverusername Good to know the data is improving the Proov experience! I can also say, MH very much needs me for him to also be active, so I totally understand. Morning is some of my only "me" time, so giving some of it up is a wrench, but I do think it's important.

@acleverusername must be a guy thing. DH would never do any kind of working out on his own. We haven't gone for walks in a while. I've tried to get him to do some yoga with me to help him stretch because man, is he not very flexible!

@acleverusername thanks for the followup on this! i'm excited to try it next cycle (though annoyed there will be a "next" cycle).  also DH does not work out either.  he's all into 'let's eat healthy so we are going to be healthy," and i'm over here like "i work out give me a cheeseburger!"

@mvt2003 we will be thinking of you!  hoping this one is nothing like the last for you, but i'm sure its going to be a tough few days for you

R/R: cramps again today ugh, but still no AF.  all signs point to her coming today/tomorrow though.  i knew it would be a BFN but i guess i like self inflicted pain.  anyway! this week has been so crazy and i am again working tonight.  it's tough waiting tables outside, i never realized!  i have a newfound respect for alfresco servers (if i didn't before!)

CS/Q: major temp drop below coverline.  not expecting it to come back up but i guess i'm not out til i'm out??

@inthewoods23 congrats on your work project! I totally dropped the ball on Father's Day for my dad and FIL BUT I did ask MH to look into ideas and he never came up with anything. Sooo...Might have to run to target today to get some belated Father's Day cards to send out!
@acleverusername what kind of regular BBT thermometer are you using? I use the smart bluetooth easy@home thermometer and for the first time ever today my first reading was a huge drop so I took it again and it was almost dead on from yesterday. Maybe I had my mouth open. Sorry it's such a struggle to get YH active. Maybe you both could use a 30 minute lunch walk. Just put it on your calendar each day so no one schedules meetings over it. You both sound like you are working a ton and that isn't healthy in general but especially while TTC.
@mvt2003 it is totally understandable to need to back away from the daily threads. Looking up your CD/DPO and over analyzing everything during TWW can be taxing. You're doing everything right and what will be will be. We will be thinking of you!
@asf0613 sorry for the BFN and the temp drop. Working in a restaurant right now would be really challenging! I hope the customers are patient and tip well!

R/R: I was able to take a nap this morning and it was so glorious! My boss is on vacation today and Monday so I have very few meetings and might actually be able to get some of my projects done. I have been slacking majorly! I'm excited for the weekend. We are going to bike to the beach tomorrow morning and then tomorrow afternoon I am surprising MH with a golf outing with his friend for Father's Day. No rants today!

CS/Q: Has anyone ever heard of or used a Progesterone oil or cream? I saw it mentioned in a FB group but I trust you guys way more

@krash_ Thank you!!! It's all a big mind game at this point! Re: progesterone creams, the research I found basically said that you can't really control the dosage, only certain creams actually have "real" progesterone in them, and you'd want to work with your doctor to make sure you're getting the correct amount since you could be getting too little or too much. I would steer clear, and ask for a progesterone check at the OB-GYN first.

@acleverusername maybe it's a married guy thing to not work out. Therefore all guys working out at the gym are single maybe?

@krash_ I barely got a card in time for my mom! I just don't know what it is, but I have a hard time planning for known holidays/birthdays. I'm even delayed for the cancelled showers that were originally planned. I'm just bad at buying things for other people. Christmas sneaks up on me too.

@inthewoods23 let's go with that: guys at the gym = single; once they've captured their ladies, they become inactive. (Mine used to be very into biking; the bikes... yes... multiple... have been collecting dust in the garage for a long time.)

@krash_ my work load is pretty manageable, but DH definitely had peaks and valleys; and when those peaks hit he's really bad at managing stress. Now is one such peak. I'll see how the next 10 days go and then have a conversation with him about taking more active role in his fertility. I only have mental & physical energy to take care of my fertility. Should be a fun convo!

Re: bbt thermometer, I've been using Premom bluetooth connected one since Feb; then I read somewhere that PCOS can cause major temp swings so I "invested" in the wearable Tempdrop thermometer. I'm now taking temps with both. I'll see how it goes over the next two months. I can return the Tempdrop one if it doesn't work. 

Btw - thanks for teaching me about the spoiler thing! 

Do you know if you have low progesterone? I would agree with @mvt2003's advice here: talk to your doc. Or, if you're interested, try the Proov strips and see what they say. They might precipitate that convo with the doc. 

Hooray for glorious naps and I totally agree with you re: slacking; it's hard to stay motivated when every day is the same as the next.

@asf0613 I should contextualize that last month when I used Proov, I only tested 7-10DPO (well, and technically it was 6-11DPO cause FF/Premom apps were giving me different ovulation day) and all tests were negative. However, since I didn't do the test 3DPO it was impossible to tell if it was a low progesterone issue or an anovulatory cycle. I posted on the Proov Facebook group and got comments suggesting that I might have had a "weak" ovulation (which, as far as I can tell from Google) is no ovulation. Anyway, really hoping that 7-10DPO testing will be positive; and just in case I also have a Day 21 blood test on Monday (to check progesterone levels).

@mvt2003 @acleverusername @inthewoods23 I agree with the inactive hubby theory.  I have to almost threaten DH to get him to do any exercise.  He loves his video games though.

R/R: Falling down the SS rabbit hole.  I'll try not to TMI here, but ever heard of Soggy Bottom Syndrome?  Where it's always wet down there?  I had this last time with my last IUI that was unsuccessful, but I'll be darned if it doesn't get my head going.  Just gotta make it to the 27th and then I can test.
CS/Q: I got nothing.

@SesshomaruMom Soggy Bottom Syndrome? I googled it (on my work computer... not sure that was the brightest idea) and only thing I found was related to pie baking. But I can imagine the problem as you described it. Hopefully nothing related to IUI 🤞🏻

Was this a medicated IUI?

@acleverusername Getting an exercise routine started is rough. Hopefully you can find a schedule that works well for both of you!

@SesshomaruMom Symptom spotting in the TWW can be rough. I try so hard not to but then I get in a weird headspace and I can't stay away from it. Hopefully this IUI cycle is successful for you!!

Testing: BFN today (why do I test this early?), won't test again until Monday
R/R: I have five papers to write in the next two weeks so I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm glad that my summer courses are more written assignment focused (because I generally NAIL my paper grades- thank you mom for being an English teacher) but it is a lot of work. I'm far less motivated to go in and write papers than I am to pop online and do a bunch of multiple choice assignments and discussion board posts. On the plus side, more papers usually means better grades for me. Can't complain about that! I also just sent an email to my student advisor for fall term registration (because our dumb campus website is being dumb and it won't let me search the right classes) so that should be taken care of here on Monday and I won't have to worry about that once August hits and I can actually -enjoy- my three week break!

@ashaislurking Good luck on the papers.  As a teacher myself, I find that if my students understand it, they can write about it.  I think it is a better way of showing comprehension than multiple choice or fill in the blank with a word bank.

@SesshomaruMom I definitely agree that papers show greater understanding than standard fill in the blank style assignments. Particularly in grad programs, we're expected to know how to utilize research outside of what we're given in our course and writing papers shows that we can find good resources to enhance our evidence based learning.

I have been very wet during this TWW and have been "knicker checking" often, thinking AF has come early.

@acleverusername I understand about wanting YH to exercise to help the odds and being frustrated about his inactivity. You're doing so much and giving 100% to have a baby! MH doesn't exercise much. He is very supportive when I excercise but his is limited to mowing and playing frisbee with our dog. I try to encourage him to walk with me, but he is 95% of the time uninterested and unwilling.
@mvt2003 I hope you enjoy a well-deserved relaxing weekend and that next week passes quickly for you! FX

R/R: Tested a clear negative this morning! I just wish AF would come so I can hurry up and start my next cycle. I'm looking forward to it because I know my chances are better with clomid and my cycle length is normal because of it. I probably had a false positive OPK a couple weeks ago. Meanwhile, being with my in-laws this weekend is very helpful for my emotional state. I'm thankful for them.

ugh sorry to post and ghost, had to get ready for work and just got home, i'm beat.  
@inthewoods23 tomorrow puts me at 10 days if AF doesnt come so right on target.  i was SO certain i was going to be shorter than usual because of my cramps, but it looks like ill wind up at 10-11 (which has been my normal and is still concerning me)
i'm so beat and wont get to other tags but i did lurk through and agree lets hope for some good news for us all between now and the 4th!!!
