Trying to Get Pregnant

  • Month/Cycle: 6/7

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: Hoping for a miracle, waiting to do IVF

R/R: I totally flaked on checking in here yesterday, twas one of those Mondays. The big win of the day though was that my car service department came and picked up my car to be serviced and then delivered it and sanitized it in my driveway so I didn't have to leave the house at all. There are for sure certain convenience aspects of this pandemic that I will miss despite the overall horribleness. The rest of the week should be pretty slow with work though so I should be here a ton.

CS/Q: Nothing to see yet, just started temping again today now that AF is finally totally gone

    *TTC History*

    Me: 37, MH: 38; Married August 2017

TTC #1 October 2017: BFP on 12/1/2017, DD born 7/24/2018 @ 37+1 after induction due to preeclampsia

TTC #2 January 2020: AMA, dx with DOR in May 2020

    IVF July 2020: 16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 12 fertilized, 3 blasts, 2 PGT-A normal

    FET 10/7/20: BFP on 10/12/20!!! (EDD 6/25/21); First beta 10/16/20 (9dpt): 148; Second beta 10/19/20 (12dpt): 621; Third beta 10/26/20 (19dpt): 4732; Fourth (and final!) beta 11/2/20 (26 dpt): 22,000+

@legallykate I have a feeling that a lot of those nice convenience aspects of services that have come out of the pandemic will still be available after things are more "normal" but offered at a premium for those that still desire it.

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK's, PNV's, CM, more water, less alcohol, HIO, and over analyzing every aspect of my cycle

R/R: My virtual visit with the new OB went well last night. She basically said there is nothing as far as my health or history that would indicate a fertility problem. She was supportive of testing if and when I want to but it would likely be out of pocket so she wanted to make sure I work with insurance to see what the cost would be and know that up front. She agreed that we are basically doing everything we can on our own. I liked that she was open about the fact that the data used for the 12 month benchmark is outdated but said we don't yet have better data with regards to tracking cycles and timed intercourse. I'm going to do some digging with insurance and then decide what we want to do if this isn't our cycle.

CS/Q: I think my CM has been what is throwing me off. I will get multiple different types throughout the day, not as fertile in the morning but EW in the evening. I need to remember to check multiple times a day and log the most fertile. So I think O will be today, Premom says today is O.

DS: 6/1/18 (Pre-E; IUGR; seizures; NICU)
    TTC #2: 12/2019
Sept 2020: HSG possible blocked right tube
    Nov 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFN
    Dec 2020: Letrozole + TI - BFP!!! EDD 9/18

  • @legallykate totally agree that there are some convenient aspects of the pandemic! Like, I get to type this while sitting outside at home rather than in my office!

@krash_ Glad your virtual visit went well, and glad that she was open about the 12 month benchmark being outdated especially if you've been tracking and doing timed intercourse. Good luck working w insurance, I always find that to be such a pain - but worth it if you're able to get them to pay for treatment!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 9

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, all of the vitamins

R/R: What can I rant about - it's a beautiful outside, work isn't too overwhelming today, and my body feels healthy and happy. Just wishing life can get back to normal - I miss being out every evening in the summer!

CS/Q: none. I don't really have any CM so taking EPO this month to see if that helps.

  • @legallykate That's so nice that they would pick up and drop off like that!

@krash_ I'm glad your OB appointment went well yesterday.

    Month/Cycle: 6/5

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: banana in a fruit salad, peeing on things, temping

R/R: H told me he would do the dishes yesterday after dinner.  He works nights and keeps the same schedule on his days off, so he was up most of the night.  I woke up this morning to an empty dishwasher and a sink full of dirty dishes.  Why didn't he just finish???  So now my dirty breakfast dishes are waiting in the sink for him when he gets up.  Ugh.

    CS/Q: nope

  • @legallykate that really is so nice and convenient!

@krash_ I’m glad you were happy with your appointment with the new OB! It’s nice that she agreed that the 12 month benchmark is outdated, but annoying that you may have to pay out of pocket if you go forward with it.

@priyadoc I agree! With the nice weather I just want to be outside doing things all the time!

@linzrunz ugh. Hopefully he gets to them today!

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD: 22

WAYDTGKU: BD EOD, PNVs, OPKs, temping, tracking CM, baby aspirin, progesterone after O if it ever happens

R/R: I went into my therapy room at the school that I work at to clean out my stuff today. Such a weird feeling! We did get the go-ahead to evaluate new students in person starting in July, so it will be nice to actually get a chance to work with some of the kids again! Other than that, having a very very low-key day/week.

CS/Q: my OPK was so negative today that I could hardly even see the line, so THATS annoying. I may test again this afternoon but at this point I feel like I’m just wasting tests!

@priyadoc I hope the EPO helps. I have also heard about using Musinex to increase CM but not sure the details of it.
@linzrunz empty dishwasher and a sink full of dirty dishes!?!? It would be so easy to put the dirty ones in the dishwasher! Com'on man!
@runningoncookies ugh I'm so sorry you haven't O'd yet! So frustrating!

  • @krash_ Glad your visit with your new OB went well and she seemed responsive to your concerns. I hope your insurance is willing to work with you on the testing. Hopefully you will have a big temp jump tomorrow and O will be clear!

@priyadoc Sounds like a relatively nice day! What does the EPO do? Increase mucus?

@linzrunz That is so annoying about the dishes, come on YH! MH does our dishes and always gets annoyed at me for leaving mine next to the sink instead of in the sink, but they all have to go into the dishwasher anyway so I don’t understand what difference it makes?

@runningoncookies Glad you will get to do some in person work with the kids soon! That’s super annoying with your OPKs, come on O!

  • @priyadoc yay for a good day!! What would you be doing if you could go out in the evenings?

@runningoncookies I bet it’s bittersweet to get your room cleaned out. But yay for being able to meet in person with students again!
