Okay I actually thought of one for this week! My UO is that I like flat soda. Like I won’t let it get flat on purpose, but I also won’t get rid of it once the bubbles are gone. And soda fountain soda is way better than soda from a can (because it’s a little flatter).

@runningoncookies I'll drink flat soda just so it's not wasted. It doesn't taste as good though.

My UO is that bars of soap should just not be a thing. I got a pack of 2 as a Christmas gift last year and decided to use them up even though I don't like them and I almost never go a shower without dropping the bar at least once. Today alone I probably dropped it 10+ times and it's just like, why do people even use this when it's so annoying and slippery??

@inthewoods23 I use bar soap    but only for my lady parts hahaha It's the only thing that doesn't give me UTIs!

@inthewoods23 I totally agree about bar soap! No matter what kind I use I always feel like it makes my skin dry on top of dropping it a thousand times lol. 

@kpearse99 MH also thinks it’s disgusting that I like it but I always have haha!! On the rare occasion that we actually have soda in the house and it goes flat he will sneak into the fridge to dump it when I’m not around!

@runningoncookies The only soda I can stand when it's flat is Coke, because I feel like it tastes the same.  Anything else though - it's a no go.  Fountain soda is definitely always better than canned, but canned is better than bottled.

I don't actually have an UO today, just wanted to share that this concept is also a very popular British morning radio show segment, and it's pretty fun to watch the videos! There's an insanely catchy jingle for it too. I keep humming it!

@runningoncookies +1 for liking flat soda! I love fountain soda too. I will open a can of soda and let it sit for a few minutes before drinking it.

@inthewoods23 I like bar soap for my face. I try to use it at home bc I don't like buying soap on plastic containers and also I feel like the bar lasts longer.  

My UO is that I HATE lotion on my hands. Like, absolutely hate it. I try to only put lotion on right before bed bc then I don't have to do anything else. If I *have* to apply lotion any other time if day I literally cannot use my hands for like an hour bc the feeling of all that lotion skeeves me.

@_orchid_ I'm totally the same way. I hate how greasy lotion feels on my hands. I also don't get why people slather on lotion everywhere. Don't they feel like walking greaseballs??

Another UO... I get making notice that you're lurking when you pop into the IF, loss, and sibling to comment something since some of us don't fall into those categories, but why the heck do we even bother saying we're lurking WTO when we're in the TWW and vice versa? Why do we do this? I think it's silly.

For me the soda hierarchy is fountain > bottle > can, canned soda is too carbonated! And I am also on team bar soap can go. Body wash all the way. 

@inthewoods23 I just assumed that was so people wouldn't be like "oh no did AF come" or "oh yay you ovulated" but I guess that would assume people are hyper-aware of everyone's place in their cycle lol.

@inthewoods23 @legallykate yes that’s what I was going to say too. That’s why I do it, because I’ve gotten confused before and have to go look to see where the person actually did their check in haha. I definitely don’t think you have to do it though

@legallykate that's a good point. At the same time, if they're only commenting about one thing I would just assume they popped their head in but aren't actually at that point in their cycle. Saying we're lurking is probably for the better I suppose. I confessed this some time ago, but when I first started participating here I wouldn't even go into the other daily cycle thread which in hindsight seems really stupid. I guess I had "I don't go there" thoughts about it.

@inthewoods23 I totally get your confession. I don’t k ow how long I was here before I even opened the Weekly Randoms or IF Thread. I didn’t go anywhere I wasn’t sure I belonged because...The Rules!😳🤣
