A friend of mine researched all of the weird wives' tales, moon phasing, whatever stuff to try for a boy and ended up pregnant with twin girls, so, I'm going to say no, this isn't going to up your chances any.

It’s 50:50 if you’ll have a boy or another girl. Be prepared for another girl if you are planning to have another baby.

Umbyou do know that your male partner determines boy or girl right? The strongest sperm wins. So just be prepared for a girl, if it's a boy that makes it a huge surprise.
