the hedgehog pic does not disappoint this week! not that it ever does but the pizza just brings it to another level.  i haven't had pizza since mid march.  there's a dollar slice shop across from my office that i usually go to 2x/wk because its easy and convenient.  was actually starting to get sick of it!  that will be my first lunch once i'm back in the office for sure.

I'm loving the topic of conversation!  We usually have papa murphy's once a week.  Usually when it's my turn to cook.  Cuz I'm lazy af.  I hate cooking.  Thankfully H usually is the one who cooks and he's really good at it.

Papa Murphy's must be a regional thing. I live in New England and I have never heard of it. We have plenty of Papa Gino's though! Friday night is almost always pizza night at our house. I usually make it but sometimes I talk DH into takeout. We have a few awesome small businesses right around the corner.

@emeraldduchess might be a Midwest thing? It's Take 'n' Bake pizza so they assemble it all for you with fresh ingredients, they wrap it up in plastic wrap, and you take it home to bake in your own oven. I haven't had it in years since DH doesn't like it as much compared to other places.

We have Papa Murphy’s on the west coast. I love it because it’s so much cheaper and the pizza isn’t bad.

Anyone else notice that Peggy posts are being closed because the tone of the discussion is unwelcoming? Not because the original post breaks board rules... 🙄 Oh well, I'll just keep sitting over here... Being "rude"...

@keikilove sorry I’ve not been as active needing a little space this cycle and these peggy’s are driving me nutso. Trying to be more active but anxiety and ttgp are a little much right now.

@ashaislurking pretzels is fun, too! I noticed the "unwelcoming tone" is used more often than breaking the board rules. How can they say we're unwelcoming? We gave them cookies, pizza, and pie!

It has been in the last few years that they have been using "unwelcoming tone" and giving more regulars warnings and bringing out the ban hammer. Before that there was so much snark and gifs. Sure some people maybe went too far but that was the exception not the rule but they changed the tone and feel of TB in one fell swoop.

@capnjackharkness. Lurking...but I thought of your cookie post.  My dad brought home Troll Oreos from the store.  My mom said they have edible glitter and poprocks in them.  I remember some glitter Oreo discussion.  Sending love to you all!

I’m taking a break. I thought this was a safe place but reading all the responses to my UO thread where I was honest and vulnerable make me question staying here. It’s effing UO meaning I get it is unpopular so why jump all over me?! Literally the last thing I needed when our stay at home ban was extended even more. I lost a loved one during this. I didn’t get to attend their burial. My mental health is in the toilet. So sorry I’m my life isn’t important but everyone else’s is.

@stillcozy Taking a break sounds like a good idea. This is a major over-reaction to what people replied to you in the UO thread. It doesn’t surprise me at all that you came here to generate more attention to your post. I’m not trying to be mean at all, but you’ve been overreacting to things for way too long on this board. If you don’t take a break now you might really go overboard & get banned again. My responses to you might earn me my first warning ever, but this is just too much. Enough with the drama already.

@keikilove thank you for that because I needed that kick in the pants to get me to realize the just absolute jerk I have been. I won’t be reporting that comment because it was warranted and appropriate.  To the rest of the ladies I’m really sorry for being brash and rude. I sincerely apologize I am going to take a break to try and get myself together. I do understand if you would prefer I don’t come back because I don’t want to make this a toxic place. Again I’m really sorry. Sending you all my love and hugs.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I had win today I attended a socially distance stand in the street gender reveal for a close friend of mine and I didn’t even feel sad! I feel like I’m coming to a place of peace while not content with this but being at peace with it which is nice. Went for several walks this weekend and made up my planters which was so relaxing.
