Re: Weekly Randoms w/o 4/20

  • If you use the app, I would recommend NOT  updating it when it asks you to! Nothing is where it used to be, it’s hard to even find our board, and they took away the refresh button! What’s up with that?! Although hopefully it’ll all work better in the long run...I just don’t like change!

On a positive note, @inthewoods23 I love that gif!!! 😍
  • @bluetickgal I noticed the desktop website is all different. Much less convenient to get to the Community page. On the bright side, clicking on the "getting pregnant" link did take me right to TTGP!

Also corgis and hedgehogs, what's not to love!?

  • @inthewoods23 where I used to click to get to the Community page is now “baby names”...so, I envision myself clicking there many times out of habit. 🙄 That’s good the desktop version is a little easier to get to this board at least! I’m sure my brain will learn the new way quickly and I’ll be fine...just whining a bit! Haha.
  • @bluetickgal I wonder if that's why we had issues with the other TTGP link. It was broken before they could publish the new site layout.

  • Also, anyone buying anything good with the Sephora sale? I have been getting into skin care because I obviously don't need make up right now. I need a good SPF though and I have some dark marks from acne so I was thinking of getting a dark spot toner.

  • @krash_ There's a Sephora sale??  I usually shop at Ulta, but there are a few things I can only get at Sephora.  Skin care is a good idea right now.  Anything you recommend?  I'm almost out of face wash and I'm looking for something different.

  • @krash_ not sure you can buy it at Sephora, but I'm using the Elta MD spf... 45? sunscreen.

@linzrunz I used to only shop at Sephora but I most definitely prefer Ulta now. They have way more brands that I like. Then again, my closest Sephora is one inside a JCPenney which generally has more makeup than skin care stuff.

  • @inthewoods23 I like the rewards more at Ulta.  Plus anything that I would normally get at a drugstore or Target, I can get at Ulta too for the same price.  So I usually end up being at their highest reward.  Except this year because I haven't been wearing makeup at all.  lol  My closest Ulta or Sephora is an hour and a half away, so I usually end up ordering everything online.

  • @bluetickgal I just checked and my phone automatically updates apps, so TB is updated on my phone.  How do you get to the message boards??  I'm so confused.  I don't want to have to drag my computer out every time I want to check TB.

@linzrunz from the home screen click on the menu (3 lines at the top left), then click the arrow to the right of Getting Pregnant. Then under Tools, you can click Community which takes you to the boards. That was the only way I could find it. Anyone else that finds an easier way, please share!
    *Edited to fix incorrect title.*
  • @bluetickgal Thank you!!  That is rather annoying.  C'mon TB.  Why are you making it so difficult to use your site?

  • the site the site is a hot mess now, it took me so long to find community this morning! For a minute I was thinking “oh no! I hope they didn’t delete our group! 😭”
  • The mobile site has been so messed up for awhile that I've been using Incognito on my work computer for about 5 days.  It's been working great.  However, if I try to stay logged in from two locations (computer and phone) it kicks me out of one or the other.  It blocks me from being able to do anything except "Report" or "Reply". No way to lovetit or other options. Annoying.
