R/R: Well we never talked to the client yesterday, they have some weird political stuff going on so hopefully the audit is the least of their concerns. We talked to the person doing the agenda for the board meeting and they didn’t seem to think it would be an issue so who knows. I have a million things up in the air so just hoping to wrap some of them up soon! On the TTC front, I’ll start OPKs today and probably EOD also. Let’s do this November thing!

R/R: one of my closest friends is getting married at the beginning of April in NC. I really want to be at her wedding - she was one of my bridesmaids. We can't make flights work because of cost so we're looking into driving down. It'll be an 11.5 hour drive if we decide to go. We have some logistics to work out but I'm excited that DH seems to be on board with driving down for it. In previous discussions, he didn't seem super open to it so I had kind of had it in my head that we weren't going to get to go.

R/R: I am in a fabulous mood this morning! I was able to get up early and go for a run outside today, and it was the absolute perfect temperature outside. I felt weirdly amazing for my whole run, AND it looks like I will still be on time for work this morning (lol not always the case when I work out in the morning).
Also, DH and I finished the first season of the sinner last night...OMG @feather_heather you were not kidding about it being disturbing! So good though! DH figured out the ending about 20 seconds before I did, which is typical lol
CS/Q:
@kpearse99 enjoy your work from home day! And going out to dinner! Where are you going?
@runningoncookies I’m glad you got a nice run in! I think I’d be better about exercising if it was always the perfect temperature out, because your morning does sound amazing!

R/R: Happy Hump Day!! Well, the rain ruined our plan to walk last night...but we still got a workout in, so yay for that!! The cold is returning today...looks like if we make it through the next few days though, it gets much warmer! Although I’m not sure the rain is ever going to leave, I guess we just have to accept that! Haha. Yes to all the November hype!!
CS/Q: None.
@bows22 that may be for the best that the client is distracted with other stuff, sounds like it shouldn’t be a big deal about the audit! Hope you can get the other stuff wrapped up soon!
@gingermama29 hope you can make the trip happen to go to your friend’s wedding! That’s a pretty long drive, but like @kpearse99 said, you can hopefully make it a fun road trip!
@kpearse99 yay for WFH day...and double yay for not having to cook dinner tonight!! Hope you have a great day!!
@runningoncookies great job on getting a run in before work, that’s awesome! I would love to do that, but I struggle to get up on time as it is! Haha. Hope your great mood continues throughout the day!

@bows22 I can get behind the November hype.
@gingermama29 Where in NC is the wedding? That would be a far trip, but I am sure your friend would feel well loved.
@kpearse99 yay for dinner out! We are trying to be better with not eating out, so I am living vicariously through you. Where are you guys thinking for dinner?
@bluetickgal Happy Hump Day! We are getting there this week.
@runningoncookies. Good for you! I am trying to get motivated to take the dog for a walk!
@gingermama29 - That's great that you guys found a way to attend! @_orchid_ recommended the Harry Potter audio books to me yesterday, and I think those would be very entertaining for that long road trip!
@kpearse99 - Omg I'm so jealous! That sounds like the best way to break up the work week!

WAYDTGKU: IVF
R/R: Already forgot that I'm not supposed to eat meat today and can't eat my lunch that I packed
I'm going to mass at noon to get my ashes - I've been really struggling with my faith the past few months due to my parent's divorce, and the fact that according to my church IVF is wrong/sinful. I've been really questioning whether or not I will remain a Catholic if the church doesn't accept my children. My husband has been encouraging me to get back into it and to start going to church again because he believes it may help my mental health. I've always felt so relaxed and refreshed after going to church, so I'm going to try to make more of an effort. I've also always felt like religion and faith is about how you personally feel and what you think, and that I don't have to agree with everything the church says is right/wrong. If someday, we do end up with children via IVF, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I don't need to keep carrying that stress and worry around with me right now.

@krystrist2014 - Oh fun!! My sister is in the Festival of Fantasy parade at Magic Kingdom! Not sure if she is scheduled for Saturday or not though!
@dobiemom11 - Hope your quiet morning leads to a productive day and you get everything done off your list!
@gingermama29 sometimes driving long distance is nice because you're not tied to a specific schedule. It shouldn't be too bad if you take turns driving 🙂 DH and I did the same on our drive to Chattanooga.
@kpearse99 now I need to find a December hype gif with a hedgehog! Hard to do because they don't like cold! I'm joining you in the WFH club. I should have WFH yesterday to keep my sinus germs away, but I didn't bring my laptop home! I'm actually feeling better today but I plan on using some of my time home to get things taken care of around the house before we leave for my cousin's wedding. Have a yummy dinner!
@runningoncookies WTG getting the run in!
@bluetickgal we've got a very light snow going right now. Meh, so over the snow! Bring on Spring!
@krystrist2014 it's like men have it ingrained in their DNA to not take care of themselves! I think the open triangle means you took your temp outside your usual time?
@dobiemom11 I love a slower start to the morning. Lots of our Sundays are like that, we're up, but just laying in bed chilling. So nice.
@feather_heather you do what works best for you! If you are comfortable with going through IVF and having a child that way, all the power to you right? I mean, why have all these medical advances if it wasn't for the greater good? And that's something to have faith about.

@inthewoods23 Enjoy your day at home today. it’s always nice to get lots of things done. Mmmm, beef jerky.
@feather_heather Hope you enjoy your tuna salad today. Can I ask why IVF is considered wrong or sinful? I’ve never heard that before. Sorry if that’s too personal to ask. Don’t let it stress you out. You focus on you and what you feel is right and need to do.
@dobiemom11 Jealous you get to relax in bed longer. Enjoy your quiet morning. Love those.
@bows22 your GIF this morning 😂😆
@gingermama29 I sure hope that you can drive down and make it to your friends wedding. That would be so fun for you and it will be nice to get away for a bit and relax.
@bluetickgal - Thank you
@gingermama29 Yay for H being on board. I hope you're able to work it out!
@kpearse99 Yay for working from home and not having to plan dinner.
@runningoncookies I love when the weather is perfect for running outside. I have a treadmill at home and a gym membership, but I'd much rather run outside!
@bluetickgal Boo for the rain but good for you for still getting a workout in!
@krystrist2014 MH has a back injury too and it's super frustrating when they're not doing what they need to make sure a reinjury doesn't happen. H's injury is about 2 1/2 years old and he's reinjured it three times having to be off work for almost a year total. It's workers comp so it's taking even long for him to get treatment. Back injuries are tough! I hope he starts doing when he needs to do!
@dobiemom11 Hope you enjoyed the relaxing morning and that you're productive the rest of the day
@feather_heather Enjoy the tuna salad today! I'm sorry you're struggling with your faith. I eventually left my religion due to conflicting beliefs. I hope you're able to sort your thoughts out when the time comes and make a decision that you're happy with.
@inthewoods23 Hope you have a productive day at home!
@mindyb2019 Good for you for support Anti Bullying Day! And yes what is said to the Peggies is totally justified. In fact, everyone is generally nicer on here than they were when I joined four years ago.

R/R: I drove 3 hours round trip for a 20 minute appointment and it was a somewhat frustrating appointment. It sucks not having decent doctors in my town. Usually my psychiatrist is on top of things, but she was having an off day and I had to repeat myself multiple times. Just left me feeling uneasy when I was done.
Also, I tweaked my back on Sunday and I feel like it's getting worse. H is making me stay home from the gym (I've been adjusting workouts as needed) and I'm really grumpy about it. I'm able to take it easy today so we'll see if some rest will help.

@feather_heather you said.... Something that has been on my mind today after reading your comments: the Church might not approve of the decision, but the people at your church or in your life want what is best for you and your family. Obviously that sounds naive (doing crazy terrible things shouldn't be approved for obvious reasons) but I hope you understand the sentiment.
@kristris2018 yes MH and I are the exact same mix! He is so so good at figuring out endings and I don’t really put that much effort in because I know the show/book/movie will give me the answer eventually lol!
@feather_heather I agree that some of the things the Catholic church believes in are not for me. I always have felt like I believe in the core value of just generally be a good person, and that there’s something bigger than us out there. Religion is a tough (and very personal) thing, but I think if going to church is good for you than you absolutely should do it for yourself.
@linzrunz good lord that's a lot of driving for such a short appointment! I feel lucky that I have a lot within a fairly short drive of me. My RE is about 20-25 minutes, and when I see my therapist, she's actually about 15 minutes from home and only 5 minutes from work.
@runningoncookies mmm not really. We use ground round beef, mix in the seasoning (and chopped up mangoes since it's mango habanero flavor), mix in the cure, then put it in the jerky gun and use that to lay strips out on the trays. It's time consuming more than it is hard to make. We'll make between 2-4lbs of each flavor. We're making it today because my brother paid for our hotel room for our grandpa's funeral. He said he was joking when he asked for jerky, but he's so excited when we said we were dead serious about making it for him. We fly out to him for my cousin's wedding on Friday so it will get hand delivered! We'll give him half or so and keep the other half for ourselves for our trip the following weekend.

@gingermama29 yay that you'll be able to make it to your friends wedding! I love long car trips and April will be such a pretty time of year to go.
@runningoncookies so jealous of your morning run! It was raining here today so I didn't get my afternoon one in. Do you run in the dark or is it light when you go?
@feather_heather I'm sorry you're struggling. From conversations with Catholic friends who have done IVF I'd say you're not alone. One friend never told her parents bc she wasn't sure how they'd react. But I have other friends that believe God led them to the specific Dr they used to help, and another friend who named her daughter after a saint bc she attended a special Mass for her the day she found out that round was successful. I hope you find some moments of peace this week.
Also, I'm not Catholic and hope this doesn't sound too bad, but the church's stance on issues is still man's interpretation of God's message. There are things humans don't understand that are God/the universe acting on our lives and it's hard to believe such a concrete "this is bad, this is good" stance when there's just so much we don't know.

@dobiemom11 I could definitely see mixed feelings with help for that long! Do they stay with you when they come?
@feather_heather IVF wasn’t an option when Jesus was around - so in my opinion it is between you and Him to decide what is right for you. I’m Catholic too and have struggled with this and that is the conclusion I have come to based on my own relationship with God. I hope that you continue to find peace at mass and in your faith!
@inthewoods23 I hope you’re feeling better! It’s so hard to WFH when you’re sick because bed is so close by haha.
@mindyb2019 I feel like with the Peggys sometimes I can let it go and sometimes I can’t!
@linzrunz I guess everyone has off days at their job but maybe you should say something if you feel like she’s not giving you what you need, especially if it’s not as easy as switching to another psychiatrist. I’m sorry your appt left you feeling anxious.
@kpearse99 glad you got a nice WFH day! Hope you enjoyed dinner out with YH!
@runningoncookies glad you had such a great morning! Hope the rest of the day was just as good!

@dobiemom11 it's in Charlotte, NC. Hope you were productive with your to do list today.
@feather_heather good suggestions! I started the His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass) series a few months ago and have the 3rd book still so that will likely be our main audio book for the drive. But I have some audible credits so I may do some exploring. I'm sorry you're struggling with your faith and TTC. I hope you can find peace however things land.
@inthewoods23 ooooh your beef jerky sounds amazing!
@mindyb2019 oh man way to jinx us today! Good luck with kitchen cleaning!

@gingermama29. FX for your weekend. I know how much planning you have put into the event, so I hope they can still safely hold the event! I used to live in Raleigh NC for many years, so wasn't sure if you were headed "home". (I grew up in VA, but still consider NC home. That is where we bought our first house and stayed for more than two years).
