This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): This is officially my last cycle before treatment, and I'm feeling all of the emotions about that!
How are things going?: It was a very difficult Christmas Eve for me, and the whole holiday was a little hollow, but we made the best of it. MH keeps reminding us that 2020 will be better. I'm anxious to get some insurance answers this week, since apparently it's a state secret what specifically our new insurance coverage will be until January 1 🙄.
In the meantime, I'm going to keep up my workouts, I've started a new book, and I have some craft projects I've got to complete, so all of the distractions please and thank you. We binged Season 3 of Mrs Maisel and Season 2 of You already, next up is Jack Ryan!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We're staying in, I'll have one glass of wine at midnight, and we'll immediately go to bed because I'm running a New Year's Day 5k the next day!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole, trigger, TI, progesterone post-O
How are things going?: OK. I am in the good spot of my cycle where I am not too close to O that I am anxious and the BSC of the TWW is still at least a week away. I am glad that Christmas is over. *TW LC mentioned*
I am super proud of myself and how I was able to put my pain aside and play with my nephew over the holiday. I still felt excluded from most conversations and celebrations, which really sucked. I almost laid into someone for a comment about how they don't get to go out and socialize as much after they had a kid. Just don't say that infront of someone who is going through treatment for IF and RPL.
Any questions?: Nah. Not my first rodeo with letrozole and ovidrel.
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? DH and I prefer to stay in with snacks and movies.
@mvt2003 I know what you mean about Christmas feeling hollow. So many hugs to you, friend. I am so ready to kick 2019 in the butt. Here's to a better 2020 for ALL of us. 💙
@emeraldduchess so many hugs, friend. I'm glad you were able to have quality time with your nephew. I do think it's so important for LOs to have strong relationships with their aunts and uncles, and I try really hard to be a presence in my niece and nephew's life for that reason, even when it's hard for me.
I also agree that one of the most painful things someone can say is about how they "just don't have time to do xyz" anymore since having LOs. I get that a lot about movies - we see a lot of them because it's something relatively cheap to do. People love to tell me how long it's been since they "got" to see a movie in a theater since having LOs. 🙄 Would trade places in a heartbeat, Karen, so maybe don't go there?

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole (5mg), TI, and Progesterone after O.
How are things going?: Doing pretty well! We had a really good Christmas, and we are enjoying a few more days off before getting back to the real world! I told DH the other day that I was trying not to be as hopeful this cycle, but I do still have hope! He said that he thinks it’s good that we are still hopeful...which I do agree with, I don’t want to just feel like every cycle is going to be a failure! It very well could be, but we do have a chance every cycle...and I do have hope that it’ll happen for us soon! And I’m so hopeful that it will happen soon for every single one of you as well!! 💜 I feel like 2020 is going to be a great year!!
Any questions?: None.
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We will stay in and possibly stay up until midnight! Haha. We are super exciting!
@mvt2003 I’m so sorry Christmas Eve was so tough...sending some delayed hugs your way!! 💜 Yay for IVF starting next cycle!! I hope you get some clarity on your insurance coverage as soon as the new year starts! Sounds like you have lots of things to keep you busy, which is nice! Good luck on your race on New Year’s Day!
@emeraldduchess I’m glad you had a mostly good Christmas! Sorry for the thoughtless comment and feelings of exclusion though! *TW - My cousin posted about how stressful & crazy Christmas was with LO’s...I said to DH that we would gladly take the stress & crazy over what we have!! - End TW* I realize that people that haven’t been through IF and/or loss really just don’t get it, but it can be so hurtful when they make comments like that! Sending hugs your way!! 💜
@mvt2003 - I hope you get good news about your insurance soon! We're watching season 2 of You right now, but we binged The Witcher this weekend!
@emeraldduchess - I'm glad you were able to enjoy the time with your nephew! Sounds like we all have the same plans for NYE!
@bluetickgal - I have a feeling 2020 is going to be a great year for all of us here! I'm in the same boat on being hopeful right now! It's hard to balance feeling hopeful, but knowing that that hopefulness will also mean a failed cycle will hurt even more.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Endometriosis, borderline PCOS, unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): FET was this past Friday
How are things going?: Pretty good so far cycle wise - I feel less hopeful and more hopeful about this cycle all at the same time. I looked at my ultrasounds before my IUIs and before my ER and the lining on all of those was only at a 4.something. So I am somewhat hopeful that that is the reason why we haven't been able to get pregnant all along. But I'm also anxious because we didn't do PGS testing, so that could be the reason, but we could have also unknowingly transferred an abnormal embyo and we would never know. I need to just stop thinking about all the what ifs. BETA is scheduled for Tuesday, January 7th, but I'll probably test at home before then. I don't want to find out while I'm work again. DH wants to test Wednesday morning (at 5dp5dt), but I think that's just too early. He's very hopeful this cycle and every night before bed he leans down and talks to the embryo haha
Any questions?: No
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We'll probably end up staying in. I'm just not in the mood to go out with everything going on (plus I can't drink) and DH has a man cold anyways. I'm thinking homemade pizzas and some sparking cider lol
@feather_heather Eeeee! Get to bingeing and finish up You, I need someone to discuss that ending with!
@bluetickgal sending you hugs and happy wishes for 2020, friend!

Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL, Blood-clotting disorders, Autoimmune stuff, Elevated NK Cells & Activity, AMA, DOR
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Prednisone, Metformin, Synthroid, Plaquenil, Lovenox to quiet the immune system (lower my NK cells) to allow for implantation.
How are things going?: OK. I’d been feeling good & excited about this cycle, but for the past few days I’m feeling flu-ish and just yucky. Can’t tell if it’s all the meds or a real illness. But it’s putting a damper on things.
Any questions?: For those who do medicated Timed Intercourse, are you monitored throughout or no monitoring? (I may have asked this recently, sorry!)
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? Like all of you party girls: staying in & going to bed immediately after midnight.😄
@mvt2003 It makes sense that you’re feeling all the emotions with this last cycle. Good luck to you with this last one! Outlander is completely binge-worthy if you haven’t seen it already.
@emeraldduchess Glad to hear you had that quality time. Sorry for the lame comments from others about their lack of free time to socialize. These types of comments drive me insane!
@bluetickgal Glad that Christmas was wonderful. Love that YH is encouraging the hopefulness! I agree with you 100%—2020 is going to be a great year!
@feather_heather YH talking to the embryo is too cute! Stay hopeful, friend! Of course you can drive yourself mad with questioning all the other things, but right here & now you get to focus & send positive energy to that little one who is hopefully burrowing in any minute now.❤️
@mvt2003 I don't even have kids and I can't make the time to see movies lol. Such a lame excuse. Some people do a lot in their spare time like volunteering! Piss off Karens lol.
@bluetickgal sometimes that hope is the only thing keeping me sane in this whole process. Glad you had a good Christmas!
@feather_heather the choice to test before beta is so hard. All the doctors and clinics will tell you that 5dp5dt is too early but come on, most embryos implant within a day or 2 of transfer so if you're not seeing anything on 5dp I feel like you're SOL on it working. HCG should be high enough for a FRER at that point. After the disappointment from the first failure, I don't think I will want to test this next time. It's so hard to decide if you want to be disappointed now or later!
@keikilove I'm not even sure I can make it to midnight haha 😆 in years past I've gone to bed before midnight
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): biopsy in 1 week!
How are things going?: good good. Appointment was good this morning. We're all good for the biopsy. I basically can't take anything to help with the pain. Ibuprofen will possibly interfere with the results and Tylenol might do nothing in terms of relief. So.. gonna have to take something after the fact but whatever. Results for the inflammation come in a week later and the timing a week after that.
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? Well, besides hopefully cleaning or organizing the house, probably staying in and hanging out with our spikey boys.

@feather_heather yes...it’s a tough balance of being hopeful but not too hopeful! I’m so hopeful this is your cycle though!! That’s so cute about YH talking to the embryo!! Fingers crossed so hard for whenever you decide to test!! Your NYE plans sound great...we just got some sparkling white grape juice too! ☺️
@mvt2003 thanks, friend! Wishing the same for you!! 2020 is going to be our year!! @keikilove we are not monitored with our medicated/TI cycles. With the OB, I had progesterone checks after O...but ironically I don’t have any monitoring with the RE now. Sorry you are feeling yucky, hopefully that goes away soon! Woohoo for all of us party animals! I think we are all just ready for 2020 to start! @inthewoods23 yes, the hope really is what keeps us going! Glad your appt went well and you are a go for the biopsy in a week! That stinks you can’t take any meds before for the pain, but hopefully it won’t be too bad! NYE in with the spikey boys sounds wonderful!!
Hi ladies!! I'm sorry I wasn't very active last week, like I usually am, but I have just been trying to soak up all of the family/holiday time that I possibly could have! I hope you understand! I was lurking hard core though and keeping up with everyone. I have really missed you all though
@mvt2003 I hate so much that the holidays were hard for you I hate all of this. I am, however, really glad that you have all of these distractions going for you and that you are still working out and keeping healthy with your running. It's so good for you in so many ways, but really, mentally it helps take your mind off of everything. I'm sending so many hugs your way.
@emeraldduchess I hope you get to stay in that good mental spot of you cycle for as long as possible! There really are so many ups and downs every month, so we need to do whatever we can to keep that "up" feeling around! xoxo
@feather_heather I really really really REALLY hope this is it for you!!! My beta day is also 1/7, so we are in this together!!
@bluetickgal I think that mindset that you and YH have is beautiful and exactly what we all need to try to do. It's such a fine line between being hopeful and getting your hopes up but if you can find that balance then you are better off. That's the mind frame I think I am in right now too... I'm getting hopeful, for sure, but also staying very realistic.
@keikilove ugh I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. It really can ruin a good mood or a good feeling. I hope you can get around that though and keep focused on being excited and optimistic! I'll send some good vibes your way for you!
@inthewoods23 I hope this week flies by for you so that the biopsy can be here and then you can finally get some pain relief!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained Secondary IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): We did 7.5mg of Letrozole, I O'd on my own! So I didn't need the trigger this time, 4th IUI on Xmas Eve and I started progesterone this past Friday.
How are things going?: Pretty good so far! Keeping that TWW BSC at bay! I had my progesterone checked this past Friday to confirm that I did O on my own, you know... it's hard to trust your body when you've needed the trigger these last few months to O... my progesterone level was at 18 on Friday! So that means I really did O on my own and that our IUI timing was great! Just gotta keep waiting and being hopeful but realistic at the same time. We had a really great Christmas and time off from work has been amazing! I really do NOT want to go back on Thursday.
Any questions?: nope
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? MH's 2 favorite Aunts and Uncles are coming in tomorrow and so we'll spend NYE at his parent's house playing games and ringing in the new year! Thankfully, his parents only live down the street from us so we won't have a long drive home after the ball drops! I am sure I'll pass out on the couch beforehand though hahaha

GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? Nothing. Probably wont even make it to midnight
@mvt2003 Good luck with your workouts. I am going to try the same.
@emeraldduchess Im glad you got to spend time with your nephew. Those comments are so hard, im sorry you had to deal with them.
@bluetickgal Im glad you are still feeling the hope. Its so hard, but feeling hopeful is sometimes all we can have.
@feather_heather I love that DH talks to the embryo, that is so adorable. Sending you all the love.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@mvt2003 I’m so sorry you had a rough time over Christmas. I’m with YH that 2020 is going to more than make up for it. I’m also so glad you are finally going to get some concrete insurance answers.
@emeraldduchess I’m glad you were able to enjoy time with your nephew. Being an aunt really is an amazing gift. But I’m sorry you still had to field some annoying comments. I don’t think that’s something you say at all, but if they have any clue about your history that’s even worse. I’m hoping for an amazing 2020 for you too! (for everyone really!)
@bluetickgal the right balance of hope is so hard! I’m also dreading my return to the real world, this time off has been so nice.
@feather_heather that is adorable about YH talking to your embryo. My hopes are sky high for you this cycle, my friend ❤️❤️ I’ll remember your beta day because it’s my surgery day and I can’t wait to hear your news! @mvt2003 I’m also watching You but we are only a couple of episodes in. Hopefully staying up until midnight tomorrow will help us get through a decent chunk!
@keikilove I hope you feel better soon! That icky flu feeling is the worst. I saw somewhere that you delayed your hystetoscopy, right? I was thinking we would be buddies for them but I’ll be sure to forge the path for you and let you know how it goes 🙂
@inthewoods23 that sucks that you can’t take anything for the pain, I’m sometimes surprised with how much Tylenol can help. But hopefully you can take whatever after. NYE with your little spikes sounds like a great night!
@kpearse99 that sounds like a great NYE! I wish we had somewhere to go that was right down the road. That’s exciting that you definitely ovulated without the trigger. It’s like your body knows it’s time to get down to business 😆
@littlebug2010 that’s annoying that they can’t get you in for so long. Do they have a cancel list or anything? But whatever you decide to do with trying this cycle will be the right decision.
Diagnosis (if you've been): endometrial polyp
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO but benched for surgery cycle
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Hysteroscopy next Tuesday to remove a polyp and to see what’s going on with the endometrial hyperplasia comment that was in my HSG report.
How are things going?: Fine. I mostly managed to keep everything out of my mind over the holidays, but it was hard to totally keep the “what ifs” from creeping in. I have my pre-op appointment on Thursday and I need to remember to ask how long it will take for the biopsy. If they tell me I have to wait for my post-op appointment for the results I may explode.
Any questions?
GTKY: We’re going to order takeout from a local Italian place and DH picked up a bottle of Prosecco so that we can toast the new year. I absolutely love NYE because I feel like it’s all about celebrating life but I don’t want to be out with drunk drivers and we’ve been spending way too much money lately to spring for a hotel. So home it is this year!
@bows22 I’m hoping the 7th comes quickly and everything goes off without a hitch! Also, I cannot wait to hear your thoughts about You! We stayed up late Friday night to binge the end, and omggg!!!!

@mvt2003 That's so stressful about your insurance! I hope it's a pleasant surprise!
@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry about christmas. People say such dumb things.
@bluetickgal I'm trying to be hopeful for 2020 too. Its about time one (or many) of us blew up the graduation thread!
@inthewoods23 I hope you get some pain relief and are able to keep yourself distracted until your results come back!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Took this cycle off of treatment, and intended to just do TI, but I failed at tracking my cycle, so I'm sure our timing was totally off.
How are things going?: I'm feeling pretty defeated right now. AF will be here any day, and I don't even know if I'm ready for IUI #3. I might just take another month off. Its been so nice not going to the doctor all the time!
Any questions?: no
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? Going to a friend's house for a 1920s themed party. Should be fun!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Don’t know, emailed RE but nurses response was confusing. WFAF and will check in with them again for next cycle.
How are things going?: okay, worried that we already checked all the boxes and now might be back at unexplained. Curious what RE will have us do this cycle since I doubt 2 months of ABX is good.
Any questions?: Not yet this cycle.
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We haven’t made plans yet and we are +9 hours into NYE already!
@littlebug2010 Is there a reason you wouldn’t try in Jan?
@shoogapoff Sorry you are feeling defeated, IF is such a battle. Have you talked with your RE? Sometimes having a new game plan helps me refocus and gain some hope back.
@kpearse99 Soak up all you can! Sounds like such a great break!
@inthewoods23 My biopsy was painful but only for a few seconds then it was over very quickly, so you can do it, just remember to take a few deep breaths. Keeping fx for good results!
@keikilove For our medicated TI cycles we have always been monitored just as if it was IUI.
@bluetickgal Love that YH is encouraging you to keep up hope!
@feather_heather That is endearing that he is already talking to the embryos!
@emeraldduchess Glad you got some quality time with your nephew. I am sorry you were hurt by those comments, but I am assuming they weren’t saying it to be hurtful to you, just sharing their reality. IF is so hard for so many reasons.
@kpearse99 I think it’s great you were able to soak up all the family/holiday time! Ah, thanks friend!! We are trying to find that balance! I’m glad you are finding the hopeful/balance as well! Everything crossed this is your cycle!! @littlebug2010 thanks lady! That stinks they can’t get you in any earlier...but maybe they’ll have a cancellation before then and will get you in sooner! I know it’s tough when you don’t want to miss out on a cycle, but you are also waiting for testing/treatment plan! I hope you feel good about whatever you decide to do though!! @bows22 I hope your pre-op appt goes well on Thursday!! I really hope you don’t have to wait for your follow-up for your results after the biopsy next week!! Everything crossed you get good results though!! Enjoy your NYE...your plans sound great!
@shoogapoff yes, I think it’s time for a mass exodus from this thread!! I hope you feel good with whatever you decide to do about this next cycle! Your party tonight sounds very cool, have fun!
@ramzlau I hope you get some clarity from the RE soon! Everything crossed this is your cycle though!
@ramzlau I have had 3 losses this past year, and I am worried that if we got pregnant again, that we would just have another loss because we dont know what is going on.
@bluetickgal I am really glad we are facing something, just unsure of what.
@bows22 They do have a cancel list, but its been full, and with the holidays I think hours are shorter than usual. Im hoping that I will get something when I call on the 2nd. I feel you, on the waiting. FX you dont have to wait until your post-op appointment.

@feather_heather that is so sweet about your DH talking to your embryo! Crossing everything for you. 💜 @bluetickgal I know what you mean about hope...it's like being on a ferris wheel each cycle. Up down up down. As much as I hate getting my hopes up each time, it's better than having no hope. I hope 2020 brings nothing but good things for us all. @keikilove I am being monitored because I am on letrozole with trigger and TI. I hope you feel better and that it isn't the flu! @inthewoods23 glad you got the green light for next week's biopsy! Sucks that you can't take anything for the pain until afterward, though. Make sure you keep us updated! @kpearse99 yay for O-ing on your own and good IUI timing!!! So hopeful for you, friend! @littlebug2010 I'm so sorry you still have to WFAF. I hope your body gets back on track soon. @bows22 your NYE sounds lovely! Let us know how your appointment goes on Thursday. @shoogapoff I am so sorry you're feeling so defeated. Believe me, I've been there. I hope you have a great time at the 1920's party!! That sounds so fun! @ramzlau "unexplained" is so frustrating. I hope you can get some clarification from the RE's office!
So the insanity that is TTC Baby Emerald continues... Yesterday I ordered my trigger shot and arrange delivery for today. I was excited because I felt like all the little duckies are in a row after the craziness last cycle. This AM I had my monitoring appointment (CD10 ultrasound and bloodwork). Nurse makes sure I refilled my prescription for the trigger shot, reviews how to take it, etc. I get home and USPS calls with a message that my ovidrel won't be delivered until Thursday. Ok. I figure it's still a few days until I need it. Wrong! The RE tells me I have several follies ready to go so I absolutely have to trigger tonight. After more back and forth on the phone, DH and I drive 2+ hours round trip to the specialty pharmacy to pick up another trigger shot, pay out of pocket. We get home and GUESS WHAT IS SITTING ON THE FRONT STEPS??? 😠🤨🤣 Well then. I guess if I need it next cycle, I will already have another dose.
TL/DR: I now have two trigger shots in my fridge. Because the universe can't let me have a cycle that goes smoothly. I am a little nervous that I am so close to O on CD10, but we'll see.
@emeraldduchess getting all the nonsense out in 2019! 2020 won't know what hit them. 😂
Take that universe!

@emeraldduchess yes, that ferris wheel analogy is perfect!! Its a constant up & down of hope depending on where you are in your cycle! I’m also hoping great things are coming for all of us!! Oh friend...I’m sorry for the major headache to get the trigger shot (and that you now have 2), but yay for triggering tonight!! I hope you won’t need that second one for next cycle though!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@emeraldduchess Sounds like your ovaries are ready to get the show on the road for 2020! Sorry about the needless headache for the trigger shot though!
@littlebug2010 Sorry I think I asked you about that before. Completely understand where you are coming from. Hope you are able to get to a decision you are comfortable moving forward with for this cycle.

@kpearse99 woot for Oing on your own! Hope you get a great belated Christmas gift
@littlebug2010 FX you can get your appointment sooner. Waiting sucks!
@bows22 GL with your hysteroscopy. Hope you get the answers you're looking for. I think they did a biopsy with mine and I never heard anything which I took to mean the "no news is good news" kind of thing. Hopefully you can assume the same. Doesn't hurt to ask of course!
@shoogapoff kinda funny how we want the BFP ASAP but the break from appointments is so nice. As much as I hate being on BC for so long for these cycles, it really is nice not to have to remember appointments!
@ramzlau yeah I'm just not a big fan at all with feeling uncomfortable pain. Idk if it's a squeamish kind of reaction but cramping during the HSG, SHG, and IUIs is something I'd rather not have. You're right though, deep breaths and I'll get through it!

@inthewoods23 what did I miss??!!! You just missed me?!?! ♥️
@emeraldduchess that’s what my body decides to do this cycle too!! It was earlier than usual and totally unexpected! 2020 here you come!!
@bows22 Girl, if they tell you that you have to wait for those results I’m gonna come over there and kick some ass!! They need to give you those results as soon as they are available!
@shogapoof ugh I hate that you’re feeling that defeated feeling. If your heart and your gut are telling you that you’re not ready for another IUI then I think you should listen and take more time for yourselves. ♥️
@ramzlau the unexplained part of all of this is so sucky, I know! I hate being told essentially that “everything looks better than normal but you’re still infertile.” I hope you get some answers!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Did IUI 4 and IVF approval was submitted. Should find out the outcome on the same day as the beta, so it could be a very good or bad day. If it’s a negative beta and we have an issue with approval, I’m going to be very upset.
How are things going?: meh, looking forward to this new year because even though it’s really just another day, I need a better year than the last.
Any questions?: Has anyone done a natural cycle in between IUI and IVF?
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We went to dinner with friends and then to a house party. *TW* someone else’s child and pregnancy mentioned
Seats weren’t exactly assigned, but based on when we arrived, we had to sit next to some acquaintances whose daughter just turned one and she’s 5 months pregnant. I drank a whole bottle of wine myself. I rarely drink and yet all I got was a stomach ache, not even a buzz!!

@shoogapoff I’m sorry you are feeling defeated about TTC. Be nice to yourself though because this isn’t easy ❤️❤️ A 1920s party sounds so fun, did you dress up?
@ramzlau thanks! I hope you can get some clarity from your RE soon! My RE office only likes us to use the portal for messages but it does make it harder to be like wait what does that mean
@emeraldduchess I cannot believe it was on your porch 🤣. I’m with you on a shenanigan-free 2020!
@inthewoods23 was your biopsy routine or did they suspect anything? Since they are checking for possible endometrial hyperplasia I really want to know either way as soon as I can! I’m sure I’ll be able to find out, I just need to remember to ask when is a reasonable time to start calling and asking them if they have the results aka harassing them 😂
@NYTino24 oh my, that’s going to be a big day. fingers crossed that this it for you and the insurance approval won’t matter ❤️
@bows22 mmm I think, if there was in fact a biopsy done, they were just checking the polyp for cancer? I mean, they suspected that there was a polyp during my SHG and went to remove it and also smooth my lining, but maybe there wasn't actually a biopsy done at all and I'm mistaken 🤷♀️
I've noticed that what I can see in my portal doesn't have all the information in my file because they had access to all the embryo grades and pictures. If there were biopsy results I might not see them in my portal.

@mvt2003 Hope you get good news about insurance. Did your run go well?
@ramzlau What did you end up doing? When will you hear from the RE about the plan?
@emeraldduchess That sucks! Make sure you check because my trigger shot is only good for 30 days!!

My temps don’t suggest that this cycle was successful even though I’m only 5dpo and I’m starting to panic about IVF. I need some sense talked into me. I feel like it’s so fast even though we have talked about what we would do with embryos and all that. We can afford it. I don’t think IUI will work. If I got pregnant naturally I think it would end in loss again because I think my eggs are crap despite having age appropriate AMH. I feel like these meds are making me ovulate early and maybe boosting follicles that my body may have let go of naturally and waited longer to ovulate with a better follicle or something. We obviously would hope for more follicles / eggs that we could hand pick with IVF. I know this will probably be my best chance at a THB. Maybe it’s another part of the grieving process. I just feel like we might be missing something with the whole unexplained IF and losses. We didn’t do an HSG because they don’t think I need one. They didn’t plan on an ERA or mock transfer, just jumping right in. We’ve already used 2 of the 4 meds so we know how I’ll react (at least with a lower dose of the Follistim)... I haven’t had much anxiety since I have felt like I’m in better hands under RE care, but it’s back.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 ❤️ I don’t blame you for being anxious but I’m sorry you are feeling that way. I don’t know much about IVF but I wanted to say, my RE said that I didn’t need an SHG and gave me the option to skip, but I had it done and that’s how they found my polyp. They couldn’t get to one of my tubes and said that we could do an HSG but that it was optional, but I did that too and that’s where they saw the possible hyperplasia. I’m not saying that’s what could be going on with you but just wanted to offer my perspective since I was also told that I probably didn’t need certain tests but then they ended up being important. I know what you mean about possibly missing something since your diagnosis is unexplained. Did you have an SHG?
@NYTino24 I wish I had some words of comfort for you. I am so sorry that you are feeling so anxious. Unexplained is a tough "diagnosis" to accept, I know because I am in the same boat. Like you, I wonder if our issues are because my eggs are bad despite the normal numbers. I agree with @bows22, it might be worth insisting on the HSG.
@NYTino24 YGPM shortly. I don't blame you for your anxious feelings at all, I'm right there with you.

Any questions?: Nah. Not my first rodeo with letrozole and ovidrel.
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? DH and I prefer to stay in with snacks and movies.

@bluetickgal sending you hugs and happy wishes for 2020, friend!

@emeraldduchess too bad we can't mute people in real life
@bluetickgal sometimes that hope is the only thing keeping me sane in this whole process.
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained, low morph
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle?

How are things going?: meh. I dont have an appointment until the 23rd, and I am calling, but they can not seem to get me in. I cant decide if I want to try in Jan, or not. Really having a hard time with deciding .
Any questions?: no
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE?

@littlebug2010 I feel ya, girl. Sorry you're struggling.
@kpearse99 FX so hard for you! When is your beta?
@mvt2003 That's so stressful about your insurance! I hope it's a pleasant surprise!
@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry about christmas. People say such dumb things.
@bluetickgal I'm trying to be hopeful for 2020 too. Its about time one (or many) of us blew up the graduation thread!
@inthewoods23 I hope you get some pain relief and are able to keep yourself distracted until your results come back!
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, blocked tube
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFAF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Don’t know, emailed RE but nurses response was confusing. WFAF and will check in with them again for next cycle.
How are things going?: okay, worried that we already checked all the boxes and now might be back at unexplained. Curious what RE will have us do this cycle since I doubt 2 months of ABX is good.
Any questions?: Not yet this cycle.
GTKY: What are you doing for NYE? We haven’t made plans yet and we are +9 hours into NYE already!

@bluetickgal I know what you mean about hope...it's like being on a ferris wheel each cycle.
Take that universe!

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle?

@ramzlau thanks! I hope you can get some clarity from your RE soon! My RE office only likes us to use the portal for messages but it does make it harder to be like wait what does that mean
@emeraldduchess I cannot believe it was on your porch 🤣. I’m with you on a shenanigan-free 2020!
I've noticed that what I can see in my portal doesn't have all the information in my file because they had access to all the embryo grades and pictures. If there were biopsy results I might not see them in my portal.
