@mvt2003 you may find you won't need the lidocaine cream just for stims if you're icing the area first, but the prospect of having to do those PIO shots is keeping me up at night. I'm terrified.

@kiki047 Same!! I saw a rec for the lidocaine cream from a instagrammer who did IVF, she said it's cheaper than the medical pain patches for PIO. I am nervous about all the shots in general, but PIO the most haha!

@nitnat007 @kiki047 well, the stars aligned! Talked to the nurse this morning. She said that as of yesterday, there are 2 good follies, haven't had an LH surge/haven't Oed, so I can trigger as soon as I get the shot and then HIO. AND, I got notification that my shot shipped and should be delivered today instead of Friday. Actual video of me right now:

@mvt2003 we'll be with you every step of the way! The needles for the stims are so tiny, other than the menopur after-effects the others didn't hurt. I was reading the instructions for the PIO though and mine specifically says NOT to change the needle tip to the smaller one so I'm going to have to tough it out like @keikilove and stab myself with that giant horse needle. My friend's clinic used a different type of carrier oil tho so her needle was so much smaller. That's a problem for future-Kiki though lol.

I found that arnica gel was really helpful after injections to minimize the irritation/bruising. I miss you and hope you're all doing well. ❤❤

@ruby696 thank you! I have been using that too, it really does help with the bruising. My bruise from my Sept trigger shot lasted into October, but I used arnica gel on the bruises from stims and they're already fading. Miss you! love it when you pop in!

@kiki047 @mvt2003 - I'm terrified of the PIO shots too! Mine start in T-minus 12 days Hoping DH will be home to do most of them for me so I don't have too see the needle, but I know there's going to be days I'll have to do it myself.

AFM I had my HSG this morning. I think the person who did it was a tech? So I don’t know if she could tell me everything but she said it looks like my tubes are clear. I do feel like she was acting weird but maybe she saw my polyp and didn’t know if I knew. I’m probably just on edge about everything though. I should get the full results within 24 hours and then I can call the RE office to get my surgery scheduled! They said to call if I haven’t heard from them in a week but I’m not waiting.

@kiki047 OMG yes, send the dog away! Love my dog, but MH had to leave for a couple hours so I was the only one home so he kept bugging me to go in and out. Don't do it, lol. Will be thinking of you 
All going well, we will doing a fresh transfer tomorrow. The anticipation is growing by the minute though.

Friends!!! I just took a pretty big fall outside of my house 😭😭 I tripped and went down hard on my knees and left hand. I’m okay aside from a few stinging scrapes but IF I did get KU this IUI cycle... did I just mess everything up?? DH told me no because my uterus is resilient and beautiful 🤣 
But he’s biased!

@kpearse99 ugh that sounds painful! I am pretty sure it will be okay, as what YH said! I think the uterus is like a deflated balloon in the usual time, so the embaby won’t fall out easily. I hope your knees and left hand are okay though!!

@kpearse99 oh no!!! I’m so sorry!!! I’m glad you’re ok! I know it’s scary but I do think any implanting embryo would be ok. I actually fell myself last fall during a TWW and was so scared but research told me everything would be ok. So many hugs!!!

@kpearse99 ok, I did Google ... any cause for concern would be if there was trauma to the uterus. I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as an embryo being shaken loose from a fall.

@inthewoods23 I appreciate you!!! I keep replaying it over in my head. I did NOT land on my uterus! 😂 and all is probably fine anyway because the only “egg” I’ll have is the new one forming on my right knee 🤦🏻‍♀️

@kpearse99 anecdotal, and TW **pregnancy** One day my coworker was pulled off her feet by her dog while out on a walk. She injured her ankle and couldn't walk on it for a few days. It turns out she was pregnant at the time that happened, but didn't know it yet. She had a perfectly healthy baby. So, not sure if that helps, but just wanted to say that I know someone who fell early in pregnancy and her baby was just fine.

Looks like I wasn’t being paranoid after all - they think I have endometrial hyperplasia. I’m sending a message through the portal and also calling the office. Of course you can’t you actually call and talk to anyone but hopefully someone gets back to me soon. Ugh.

Omg @bows22 I am so sorry you received that news. I just gasped reading your update, I don’t want this for you, my friend. I especially hate that you can’t just talk to them! They just gave you that news and nothing else?? Like, something like that deserves a discussion so you know exactly what you’re dealing with and how you can move forward and what the plan will be. ♥️♥️♥️ I’m here if you need me.

@kpearse99 yes it was just posted with my results. I think all of the results from the day automatically get pushed to the patient portal overnight, because any time I get a result it’s in the middle of the night. So I don’t know when the RE office gets them. Technology is great but sometimes it might be better if they could just hold the results and call me! I’m trying not to panic until I hear from them but it’s not easy.

@elliemc79 I had the same issue with Clomid and things have been much better with the Letrozole. 

The pharmacy called yesterday to go over meds for IUI #4 and I was checked out because 1) this cycle isn’t over yet and 2) I haven’t even heard from the RE / nurse about what the protocol will be so it was a little shocking to hear from Schraft’s. All I heard was $750 and Follistim and some other stuff. In better news, my temps are over 98 and staying up!

@bows22 Oh my god, I'm so sorry friend!!! Sometimes I hate technology. I hate that it got pushed to you with no frame of reference or plan from the RE. Deep breaths, and they had BETTER get back to you today or you can turn me loose on them!!!!

Thanks for the love guys. I heard from the nurse and she said she would send a message to request they review my results. I replied and asked if they could make sure someone contacted me today since it’s Friday. I have something to do that I won’t be able to have my phone from 12-12:30 so I can pretty much guarantee that is when they will call. Hopefully they give me a more direct way to contact them if so. From my google research it seems like there’s a pretty far spread of what this could mean so I’m not getting worked up until I hear from them but I need it to be today.

They just called at 3:20🙄🙄 It was a PA (not the one I actually see) and she said to try to put it out of my mind for now, the HSG isn’t intended to diagnose hyperplasia and they wouldn’t have been able to diagnose that from what they saw. The supervising physician at the RE office is going to review the images and they will call me back on Monday. She said that another department will probably have to do the surgery now so that they can do a biopsy just as a precaution. But that they see a lot of hyperplasia and it’s usually treatable. 

So overall I’m feeling much better but as much as they seem to want to write this off I’m not going to feel totally at ease until the biopsy is done.

@bows22 I was diagnosed with cervical dysphasia and my OB wanted to do cryotherapy. I couldn’t and declined. Now that I can, I don’t want to because the RE reassured me that it won’t make a difference in TTC, especially when doing IUI or IVF. I hope you get some good news.

I feel like we are in a similar boat. During my day 3 US this cycle the RE measured my endo to be at 6mm; he said I should have a couple more days of bleeding but my period ended up lasted for 5 days total. During my HyCoSy with a different clinic, the US tech found that I had multiple polyps, with the largest being 8x2mm. The RE I am seeing currently doesn’t seem to be too worried about it, but he’s only done regular internal ultrasound for me and not saline sonogram. Maybe I should push my RE to do a hysteroscopy.

@pom9207 I have such limited information from my RE office but I do know that my lining was 10 mm on CD3. They don’t have a measurement of the polyp on my results from the SHG. Are yours definitely polyps? I also have cysts and fibroids which are apparently fine.
