DH called and said his tire blew out on the way to work. He's okay thankfully. He said he felt it happening and was able to pull over in time but the tire is shredded to hell. A random stranger stopped and helped him change his tire but the last part of my b*tchfest is the cost of new tires now. Ughhhh.

I need to buy a new recliner and a new couch because they both decided last night that my ass was too fat and both of them broke... Because why wouldn't they

@gingermama29 tire problems are my worse nightmare. Cuz there's never a buy 2 get 2 free deal when you need it or even buy 3 get 1 free. Glad YH is okay!

I'm only expecting this to happen... But DH put the refundable deposit down on the Tesla Cybertruck and I guess his dad is also considering it to replace his Chevy van (not a mini van). SIL's BF is all about macho shit and specifically wants a 2001 Ford F-150 because his uncle owned one so I'm just DREADING the Thanksgiving conversation about this truck because SIL's BF has to fit in with everybody so you know he's going to be saying how much he wants it too. Like he can't even be authentic. I could go on and on but I better stop.

On a lighter note, I bring a thermos and water bottle each week to work. I like to drink my hot beverages over time vs within a half hour in a mug. And today marks another Monday that I forgot to bring them. I'm sad. Now I have to drink out of my mugs instead waaaahhhhhh

@gingermama29 I think Walmart is having a deal on tires this weekend for Black Friday! Sorry your husband had to deal with that on the way to work but I think this is probably one of the better times of the year to replace tires.

Ugh so sorry @gingermama29 tires are the worst thing to pay for! And I get irritated that we in the northeast literally have our tires destroyed by our roads too.

@inthewoods23 Ooooh if DH gets the truck, does that mean you inherit the other Tesla?!

@mvt2003 nope I'm sticking with my Model Y order! I'll have a new car sometime next year. The truck won't be in production until 2021 or 2022 depending on the version. DH is considering replacing his current Model 3 with the truck. We have some reason to need a truck for towing things but of the Model Y can do it (we think I comes with a tow hitch) then we probably won't need the truck.

And you guys, I stick my purse in the same desk drawer were I store my thermos and water bottle. Apparently I missed seeing the one from last week still in there this morning and only noticed it in there now. Guess I do have a thermos after all!! Just needs a wash 😃 yay lol

@inthewoods23 I love Tesla, but that truck is so ugly me to. I get he wants to be different but I’m not down with that look. But I nor my husband would ever buy so it’s ok. My eyes will just hurt when I see them on the road. My sfil has the X and that is the only car that I’ve never gotten car sick in sitting in the third row.

@blackgirlmagic I think what makes it the most ugly, besides the straight lines, is that it's not painted. It looks dirty being just the stainless steel. It has grown on my a bit but the damn thing would certainly stick out like a sore thumb. And I've heard the lights on it are currently not legal (at least in the US). It uses lasers which are ok in Europe, but not here.

For sure they all have a very smooth ride. Unless you're driving in DH's car who will let the car decelerate and then punch the pedal to the floor. Moves my insides! But we joke that's how we'll help progress my labor if needed 😆

I'm off to a great start this morning. For work I have a laptop on a docking station connected to 2 monitors. The monitors won't stay on once I boot up my computer so I can't log in. I can use my laptop off the docking station though.

We're all getting new laptops anyway since they're removing support for Windows 7. And that LITERALLY CANNOT COME FAST ENOUGH FOR ME. I've had this laptop for 3 years now and originally it was supposed to get replaced back in Q1 this year but whoever orders equipment forgot or something. Ugh.
