R/R: Nothing much. Had an enjoyable Saturday morning with a nice, if rainy, walk with my pupper then got to watch some Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. If you like horror-ish things, I recommend it. Netflix did a good job and I am hotly anticipating Season 3.
Finally started injections on Saturday evening. Was at a friend's house so not an ideal scenario for your first time, but nothing broke and no blood was shed. Sunday injection was much quicker since I wasn't triple checking the directions, only double. I have a follow up on Wednesday morning which is approaching rather rapidly. I'm enjoying this feeling of time actually moving. DH is on vacation this week and is trying to de-clutter the basement which would be nice. MIL insists it is mostly his stuff, but she is kind of blind to her own possessions. Should be at least one good disagreement this week
R/R: I had a good weekend! I finished my race series I've been doing since the spring, which was a big accomplishment and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I also got the house reasonably clean, which was much needed.
Then last night we had our family pumpkin carving contest - we all go to my MiL's and carve a pumpkin, then we post the picture on facebook and have all of our fb friends vote on which pumpkin they like the best. It's always surprising to me which ones people vote for! I didn't win, but I got a few votes, which was nice.
Now it's just time to WFAF, while also waiting for our reproductive urologist appointment. Hopefully this week goes quickly!

@meri-mac - Yay! Glad to heat the injections are going smoothly so far!
@mvt2003 - Congrats on finishing your race series! We carved pumpkins with my mother in law on Friday night and the results were hilarious! I'm not sure when the last time she carved a pumpkin was but she was not able to follow her pattern very well. The whole time she kept saying "ohh you poor pumpkin" and we thought she was just being dramatic. haha It was supposed to be a cat with a witch's hat...
@meri-mac I love that time feels like it's moving fast for you! If you can share some of that with me over the next 2 weeks, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'll have to check Sabrina out, I looked past it because I just figured it was a remake of the one I grew up with but it sounds like they've made it different and interesting.
@mvt2003 can you adopt me to be apart of your family?! I LOVE doing things like that! My friends and I do an annual gingerbread house night in December and we do the same there where we each make one and then post pictures online for people to vote. I'm so competitive with it Do you have a picture of the pumpkins?!
@ziggymama06 your Saturday sounds PERFECT!!! Days like that are my absolute favorite!

@ziggymama06 Thanks! I'm actually pretty much the last person you would ever think would be a runner! I was always picked last in gym class, am supremely unathletic, and almost 2 years ago I decided that I was just going to be stubborn and learn how to do it. I started Couch 2 5k in March of 2018, ran my first 5k in May of 2018, and have not stopped since. I did a 10k in July, but haven't pushed too much farther on distance yet. I'm very slow, but I don't quit. It's been so good for my mental health and my physical health!

@ziggymama06 She is a mix of various things that is called Mushkadoodle. It is a term the rescue group gave the pups they bring from Northern Labrador. There is no "doodle" in her. She looks more like a Bernese and Husky mix and I love her I will certainly send some time flying your way. TWW are always horrendous!
@mvt2003 Wow that is amazing! It's not about the time, but that you finished!! Any tips for a newbie looking to get into running? I have a hand-me-down treadmill at home that I rarely use.

@ziggymama06 Thanks! My best tips would be first of all to get fitted for running shoes - they make a big difference in how I feel, so it's easier to run! Secondly, I would use a Couch 2 5k app, it breaks it down for you, and run-walk intervals are definitely the way to start!! Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!

@kpearse99 yay for IUI! So glad you are feeling so hopeful this month! I hope it all went well and 2 follicles = double the chance right??
@feather_heather that sounds like you have a good amount of follies! Is that what you were expecting?
@ziggymama06 I'm so jealous of your weather! It's already like winter here most days (we had one nice day last week) and way too cold to have garage doors open!
@meri-mac how long will you have to do injections? Are you just a week behind feather_heather?? So exciting to be moving forward with the process (although I also hate you are at that point).
@mvt2003 sounds like you had a productive weekend! Awesome job with the race series!! Please update on how your RU appointment goes! I also highly recommend a second SA at some point. I've been thinking of starting couch to 5k, but it's cold here already so that means finding time to get to the gym for a treadmill... I just need to make it a priority.

R/R: I got our SA and CD3 results back verbally on Friday and it was all good news. Our first SA put us squarely in the MFI category and didnt qualify for IUI since it was too low. H started on a multi vitamin, quit chewing (although now he vapes 🙄) and cut way back on his energy drinks. It's been 2 years and his SA results are now on the end of normal! It was a huge relief getting those results. Now that I know we have a shot, we are waiting until next year to start any potential treatments.
We also booked a trip to Norway for May, but I got the insurance since if I get KU in the next couple months I will need to cancel. That's my compromise of not putting my life on hold, but also being hopeful.

@ziggymama06 Wow, that spa sounds magical. A perfect birthday treat! I am definitely going to look into a massage. Tonight at dinner my shoulders felt like they were up to my ears!
Got home late tonight and fell asleep on the couch, so no tags. But I'm reading (and celebrating) along with you guys!
@millpe They start you off with 4 days worth then do a check up (that's tomorrow for me). During the appt, they do another round of bloodwork and a vaginal ultrasound to see how the follicles are progressing. They may change the dose or keep it steady. Then they give 2 to 3 more days worth after which they do another check up. Then it switches to daily monitoring. Not ideal since I live 40 minutes away from the clinic, but my boss is pretty understanding. Noone sets out into this process wanting to have to do IVF, but if it means I finally get my little nerd, I do not care
@millpe So so so excited about your SA results!!!!!!! Hopefully you need that trip insurance!!!!!!!

WAYDTGKU: Benched for IF Testing

@mvt2003 can you adopt me to be apart of your family?! I LOVE doing things like that! My friends and I do an annual gingerbread house night in December and we do the same there where we each make one and then post pictures online for people to vote. I'm so competitive with it
@ziggymama06 your Saturday sounds PERFECT!!! Days like that are my absolute favorite!

CS/Q: nope, probably not temping again
