I have a 7 mile race on Sunday. This will be interesting because I haven’t been running consistently. But not as interesting as my half marathon next weekend 😬

We are going to my coworker/close friend’s wedding - they have been dating for forever and are finally getting married. I’m so happy for her! It’s local but we are staying in the hotel block so that we can have some drinks without worrying about driving. I’m looking forward to it!

@tyrion_ ugh, good luck with your race. I am not a runner but that sounds terrible haha

I'm taking it easy and low-key celebrating my birthday with hubs tomorrow.... weather is supposed to be crappy, so likely just late lunch with some day drinks.

@tyrion_ You can do this!!!!! The body remembers!!! I'm rooting for you! The adrenaline will take over and you'll be fine! (Make sure you stretch and foam roll afterwards! )

I have a  Halloween themed 10K tomorrow morning. I'm kinda dreading it because it's the furthest distance I've run in quite some time, and I've still got a bit of a cough leftover from a head cold I had two weeks ago. Plus, it's like a 45-60 minute drive and I have to be there no later than 7:30am to pick up my bib before the race starts at 8am. BUT, there is free tomato soup in a bread bowl and beer at the finish line, so there's that.

Tomorrow is my neighborhood Halloween parade (so I have to clean my house tonight! ) and @whitealbum29
my local city council candidates are going to be having a discussion afterwards so I will definitely be there for that! 

Sunday I have a trail 5k, it's my final 5k in the series I've been doing since the spring! 

And today I'm meeting with my work friends to plan out our Halloween decorations. Our company does a contest every year and we all take it VERY seriously. We've picked our theme, and we're going to do an inventory of supplies and do some design work this afternoon. Everyone waits until after 6pm on the day before Halloween to decorate so no one snakes your ideas, and things get heated!

Pretty low-key for me. Homemade pizza tonight with some wine of course, haircut tomorrow (hooray!), then grading papers on Sunday. Last weekend was busy and emotional, so I'm glad to be able to stay in and relax this weekend. I might bake some pumpkin bread and chocolate chip bars, too.

To all the runners:

I am looking forward to some chill time Saturday morning with my pup.I was hoping for a nice sunny walk, but the cold November rain is coming a bit early. I also have to start my injections on Saturday evening at which point I will be at a friend's house for some gaming. Should be interesting. 

@emeraldduchess Your night sounds nice. DH has martial arts for two hours tonight so I will be with him in the dojo. Enjoy your restful weekend. You deserve it!

@mvt2003 The decorating sounds intense! Would love some pictures if you are allowed! Good luck on your run!

@meri-mac that’s a great question! Mostly no, but we will if we have enough drinks in us. I’m always down for the electric slide regardless though!

@tyrion_ Thanks! I have to clean because the parade ends at the park, which is across the street from my house. And whenever there is an event there, my ILs always park at my house and my house becomes the central location. My living room currently looks like something detonated in there, I have crap all over my kitchen counters, and my MiL has the bladder of a small child so there is zero chance of someone not going inside my house.

Like a regular street parade combined with a parade of homes. No idea why that’s where I went with that.

1) Got to my workshop early enough to hit the Dunkin Drivethrough. Hash browns, sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant, blueberry cake muffin, and mint hot chocolate for breakfast.
2) Lunch at the mall with coworkers. Combo platter - orange chicken and chicken with mixed vegetables. Leftovers for dinner or dinner at the IL is the next option because they let us go home early. It’s CD3 so this applies in multiple ways.
