Ten Things Tuesday | 10.15

What's good?
Note: doesn't have to be 10 things. If you have two, share them! Sometimes 10 fresh new things can be daunting.

  • not to speak too soon, but...I am very grateful that I have had very little symptoms so far. No nausea or food issues. I am eating a lot and just feeling bloated and crampy. The boobs I guess I'll get used to.

also grateful that all my favorite netflix shows just put up new season :)

    4) I already prepped dinner and don’t have to renter the kitchen 😂
    5) DD took a nice long nap
    6) sunshine
    7) fresh laundry
    8) DH picked his clothes up off the floor
    9) we have internet again

  • @lyndshurt Thanks. I'm just telling it like it is. It'll already be an unplanned 2u2 situation, with a 3 (soon to be 4) year old when baby arrives. 3u2 with a 3 year old...and I'm an ND (neuro-diverse) mom already who struggles with too much sensory input-like touching and noise....

Well, let's just say I'm glad I'm not my SIL or my daughter who both likely carry gene for fraternal twins courtesy of my MIL.

  • @pourmeanothermocktail That definitely sounds like a lot! My kids are a little more spread out and I’m still sweating at the thought of 3 kids. I giggled because I said something similar to DH before when he was joking about twins 😅

Right? Three is just a lot. I know I'll/we'll manage, but it's a lot. I have a friend who had an almost 3 year old and newborn twins, plus a 7 year old, and that was a lot! I've already told my husband if it's twins then we're volunteering to support my mom fully for their first year, until my oldest can at least go to kindergarten! And she can stay with us for....moral support? sanity? wine runs?
