Baby is the size of a(n): pomegranate, or about 5"
Upcoming appts: nothing until the anatomy scan on the 25th!
How are you feeling?: I'd say better overall, but then I was nauseous in the middle of the night last night, and I'm still puking when I brush my teeth and prone to puking all morning. And my patience is in short supply.
Cravings/Aversions: Nothing unusual this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like an idiot, but I just purchased a doppler last week, and it got here Saturday. Movement should be getting more regular, so I shouldn't need it very much, but I figure peace of mind was worth $50, even if it only gets used a couple times. Found her heartbeat last night It was DH's first time hearing it since he hasn't been able to go to many appointments with me.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I'd say I believe in them, but have never actually seen any. I've experienced very weird things that could probably be classified as paranormal, but nothing visual.
EDD/W+D: 17+5 due 3/11 (is anyone else tired of writing that every week? Lol)
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: blue
Baby is the size of a(n): I’ve lost track. I think it’s a creme brûlée. But I put that last week because I checked in when I was already 17 weeks. I’m almost 18. So a little bigger than that?
Upcoming appts: anatomy scan on the 23rd
How are you feeling?: eh. Over emotional and still SO tired. Sometimes I get a burst of energy but by the time I use it up I get more exhausted than I was before. Still a little nausea here and there but it’s a lot better than it was.
Cravings/Aversions: lately it’s been toaster waffles with Nutella. I’m seriously about to start gaining weight like nobody’s business if I don’t reign myself in. I can’t stand anything meat pretty much. Unless it’s turkey on a sandwich.
Rants/Raves/Questions: H has been a butt and a half lately. I don’t know what’s up but I’m OVER it. He’s so grumpy and downright mean. I’m a very non-confrontational person, which he obviously knows, so I just take it and absorb the things he says and rarely fight back. Mostly because he’s one of those people who are “always right” even when proven wrong. So there is literally no point in arguing because it just ends with me being really upset and him not caring. Pregnancy hormones are not helping the situation. I’m just feeling very unsupported and overwhelmed.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I believe in paranormal activity. I’ve never seen one myself but I’ve had weird experiences that can’t really be explained. I also lived in a house when I was little that used to be a civil war hospital. So there was a loooooot of strange stuff that went on!
@stassischroeder doppler is totally worth it!!! Plus the re-sale value isn’t bad so I’m sure once you’re done with it you can sell. I actually used mine a lot with DS even after kicks started on days when I didn’t feel as much movement. It was such a peace of mind. Plus it’s the best sound.
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: I'd like to find out, but my baby is being incredibly difficult, lol. The Sneak Peek said boy, but the ultrasound said girl. Hopefully finding out at the anatomy scan on the 25th.
Baby is the size of a(n): A roll of toilet paper or a softball or a pear, depending on which app I look at!
Upcoming appts: Anatomy scan on the 25th :-D I'm so excited (and nervous, of course).
How are you feeling?: I'm feeling okay. I'm still really shaken up from the car accident last week, but I've been harassing my baby with the Doppler at least every other day since then just to check on things, and all seems to be okay. I'm not nearly as exhausted as I have been, and I'm sooo hungry lately. I used to be not at all interested in food when I first woke up, and had to force myself to eat small snacks throughout the morning and early afternoon. But now I am feeling ravenous almost always. I'm still quick to get full, but the hunger is real! Emotionally, I'm still all over the place. I legit cried at an episode of Bar Rescue last night, and it was an episode I had seen before so I knew the chef guy wasn't going to die from a heart attack or anything, lol. But man, I'm emotional. Also my patience is non-existent now, which is unfortunate for anyone that has to spend extended amounts of time with me. I'm trying to stay nice, though!!!
Cravings/Aversions: I'm still craving all the cheese, but I also really, really like the sounds of sweet things lately. I've almost had to stop at Baskin Robbins, Cold Stone Creamery, and Dairy Queen the last week just because the urge was soooooo strong for some ice cream. I'm also eating the hell out of these chocolate-covered blueberries I found at the grocery store, oh man. But my aversions are mostly to meats, still. If it's not chicken, I'm really not interested. And even with chicken, it's 50/50.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Anybody getting the flu shot? I normally avoid them because I feel like it makes me sick immediately, but my OB is really recommending it, so I'm going to suck it up and just get it done.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I do believe in ghosts, but I don't think I've ever seen one. I've had incredibly bizarre things happen around me that I can only equate to paranormal activity. I think my older brother (who has passed away) visited me when I was sleeping a few times, but I can never know if that's legitimate or if I was just dreaming. Either way... I want to believe in ghosts, lol.
@stassischroeder I love the Doppler! It's such a comfort! I do find myself getting panicky if I can't easily find the heartbeat on some days, but it's proven time and again to be a blessing for my peace of mind.
@miss.sally I'm sorry your husband is being a butt-face. That was my partner for like an entire month. Ever since the accident, he's been SO much more attentive and less argumentative (not advising you to get into an accident for some emotional support by any means, lol!). But man, it sucks when they're not being team players. My partner is a know-it-all, too, so it's useless to argue. I hope he starts being nicer soon, because I know how hard it is to deal with pregnancy hormones all while trying to deal with a man with a shitty attitude.
Upcoming appts: My god… it is THIS Thursday for the Anatomy
Scan. I’ve never had it at 18 weeks, but I was able to fold in a regular
appointment with the scan if I did it at 18, and since I work an hour away ONE
appointment is better than two, but I can’t believe it is so soon!
How are you feeling?: Pretty good overall! Even the exhaustion has lifted
a bit!
Cravings/Aversions: I want all the salt and vinegar. All of it. Pickles,
vinegar on sandwiches, black olives… I feel like a cliché.
Rants/Raves/Questions: RAVES: Anatomy scan this week AND the weather is finally
fall-ish!
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever
seen a ghost? Not exactly, but I
believe the mind is a very, very powerful thing.

@stassischroeder
OMG YES to the Doppler. When I’m stressed out and just need reassurance, it’s
the BEST.
@miss.sally
Ugh being tired AND dealing with a mean DH. I’ve been there. I hope you get some
energy back here for the next 13 weeks or so.
@malidocious
I only get the flu shot when pregnant, but yes!
Upcoming appts: Tomorrow for a regular check-up and Nov.1st for the Anatomy Scan.
How are you feeling?: Pretty good....aside from feeling like I've gained a million pounds. I wouldn't mind the weight if I had a cute bump but I literally just look like I've gained a few pounds.
Cravings/Aversions: Still craving all the carbs lol I am dreading stepping on the scale at the doctors office tomorrow.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I started working on my baby registry and I am so overwhelmed. As a FTM, I am seriously freaking myself out reading safety reviews and all that. DH has made no effort to help. I ask his opinion and his answer for everything is "that's nice". So frustrating.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I believe in all things paranormal. The house where I lived in till I was about 12 we believe was haunted. Both my mother and sister had weird stuff happen that they couldn't explain and one time me and my sister were home alone in the downstairs office when we heard footsteps going up and down the stairs that turned into stomping. We locked ourselves in the office and called our uncle who lived near by and is a police officer because we thought maybe someone broke in. He came and searched the whole house. All the doors and windows were secure. We were so freaked out.
@emilylove25 Yay to your Anatomy scan being a few days away!!
@malidocious I am so emotional too. I cry all the time now. lol My OB gave me my flu shot in Sept. I normally get it every year without any side effects so I figured I would be okay to take it now. I had no issues.
@miss.sally Sorry your husband is being a grump. I have been loving nutella with apple slices as an afternoon snack. I have never really been big on Nutella but I am loving it right now lol
@stassischroeder I just ordered myself a Doppler for piece of mind. Can't wait to be able to hear my Lo's heartbeat.
@miss.sally I'm sorry YH is being a jerk Can you talk to him about it? Between MH and myself, I'm the more antagonistic one, but if he approaches me in an honest "hey, this is hurting me" way, then it tends to make me check myself. Also, maybe I'll start a ghost stories thread!
@Malidocious I used to not get flu shots, but they're so important for the safety of your baby. Especially since our babies will be born at the end of flu season. I know they're not 100% fool proof, but the flu can be so dangerous for newborns that I say it's worth it.
@EmilyLove25 I had my anatomy scan at 18w last time And, I like the chipmunk reference much better than fruit, etc. lol. Makes much more sense!
@stacey6689 the registry is SO overwhelming when you're a FTM. It's hard not to stress, but you really don't need much right away. I think it's a better idea to just have the bare minimum until you get to know what the baby likes. Every darn kid is different, so you can't even trust the "ALL BABIES LOVE THIS" reviews.
Upcoming appts: regular check-up today, anatomy scan to be scheduled.
How are you feeling?: nausea is fully gone, but heartburn has taken its place. most days I feel like I'm dragging, but I will have a day here or there where I get a burst of energy. definitely feel like I could use more sleep. getting shooting pains in my hips/lower back if I walk a lot.
Cravings/Aversions: still been craving junk food like mad!
Rants/Raves/Questions: rant that this week is going to be a loonnng week at work. I have to actually go in to the office so I'll miss my home-office comforts for sure... I can't snack at my desk like all day without getting a side-eye. and also we have higher-ups visiting so that is going to be stressful as well. had to actually go buy maternity dress clothes just for the occasion, which is kind of annoying because I know they won't get used much otherwise. rave, I'm starting to feel flutters here and there, which has been the best feeling.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I believe in the supernatural, because some things in life just can't be explained. after DD's dad died, I was doing an interview with this lady who happened to start talking about 'spirits trying to contact us, and you definitely have one around you' and at that moment, her giant cement flower pot on her front step came crashing to the ground, like an unseen force pushed it... there was no wind or anything else around. I feel like that was DD's dad for sure trying to get my attention.. either that, or that lady was a major wack-job just trying to freak me out and she had rigged up something. lol. but, she was as shocked as I was when the thing fell.
@miss.sally, sorry about your DH. it really sucks when you need the support of your partner and they act that way.. I can relate!
@malidocious, don't think I'm getting the flu shot, partly because I'm worried I'll get sick afterwards, and partly because I'm not a huge fan of extra vaccinations. I'm not a crazy anti-vaxxer by any means, but I figure the flu vaccine is one me and my kids can skip.
How are you feeling?: Pretty good, although I haven't really pooped in like 5 days. I've been taking Miralax nightly, but no luck. I'm going to try to increase my water and fruit intake as well. Other than that - not much. Still low appetite and I'm really hoping to feel some movement soon.
Cravings/Aversions: As stated above, I just haven't had much of an appetite, which is really unusual for me!
Rants/Raves/Questions: My husband is finally taking some time off to spend with us! He'd been working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day aaaalllll summer and it's so nice to spend time with him. We've started a deep clean/purge of our condo. We really need to get organized to turn our 3rd bedroom into a room for DD. Please don't mention Marie Kondo...I feel like I have PTSD from the last time my husband tried to get me to "tidy", lol.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I have never experienced paranormal activity, but I can't rule it out as a possibility. The amount that is known vs unknown is so great that I don't feel like I could give a definitive answer.
@stassischroeder Yay for doppler at any time! I find it so reassuring and used it all through 2nd trimester last time.
@miss.sally I hope things get better with your husband. I always find that my hormones significantly impact my ability to problem solve with my husband.
@Malidocious I'm so glad you're feeling better since the accident. I ate SO MUCH ice cream last pregnancy; I'm not craving it at all this time and sort of miss it! I got a flu shot last week and felt kind of gross that evening but fine the next day.
@EmilyLove25 Yay for anatomy scan at 18 weeks! I'm so impressed that you have the resolve for team green.
@stacey6689 Do you have a friend who recently had a baby that can help you with your registry? I found that to be a super helpful way to get started. My husband was kind of like "get whatever you want" which was so not helpful! I feel like most of the products on the market have had to pass really rigorous safety standards, so a lot of it comes down to personal choice.
How are you feeling?: still waves of nausea but it’s slowly getting better, still exhausted but maybe that bc of my toddler 🤣 Back pain is already starting and headaches.
Cravings/Aversions: I’ve been craving salads which I guess isn’t too bad. Also random things like spinach artichoke dip.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I’ve got a couple raves this week! 1st I started feeling some movement Saturday! 2nd we got some info on DH’s benefits and as long as baby is born after Jan 1st (which let’s be real hopefully he is for health reasons) he’ll get 4 weeks of paid paternity instead of 2!
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost?I’ve never seen a ghost for sure but I’ve had enough strange paranormal experiences that I can’t deny there may be ghosts. I hope any spirits know I’m happy to share our space as long as they don’t harm my kids.
Me: 33 | DH: 34 Married: October, 19, 2015 EDD 2/22/17 DS1 born on 3/2/17 EDD 3/8/20 DS2 born on 3/10/20 EDD 11/24/23 (Formerly Marriedhamstermom Feb ‘17)
@varimama *lurking from Group 1* I NEED spinach artichoke dip right now after reading that- omg. I hear Trader Joe's has a good one... stopping there after work!
@stassischroeder I love having a doppler. Honestly I only use it like once a week or so but I like knowing I can listen at any time! It’s so worth it for some peace of mind
@miss.sally I’m so sorry YH is being like that. I hope he figures out his stuff ASAP and starts being more supportive!
@Malidocious I’m so sorry you have to deal with all that stuff after the accident but am so glad your baby is ok! You’re right and that’s the most important thing, other things like cars can be replaced though I’m sure it’s a pain to go through. I got my flu shot already and so did DH, DS is scheduled for his next week. I used to never get it but got the flu once and it was so bad I have always gotten it since. You getting it is important to protect your newborn before they can get the shot! You’ll want to get them in the future too even when not pregnant bc babies and toddlers put everything in their mouths and are breeding grounds for sickness to enter your house!
@EmilyLove25 good luck at your A/S! We never changed drs because we liked them so much when we moved an hour away so I always try to combine appointments when possible too!
@stacey6689 registry first time is so hard. I like Amazon’s checklist. Then I used Lucie’s List and recs from my SIL to help narrow down choices.
@treetop19 hope your week at work isn’t too bad for you! Also hopefully you at least like your new clothes even if they won’t get a lot of use!
@keeksie84 my dr told me I can take colace with miralax bc they have different methods of helping. He also said if it gets really bad I could try an actual laxative but of course I’d probably check with your dr on that one before doing to.
Me: 33 | DH: 34 Married: October, 19, 2015 EDD 2/22/17 DS1 born on 3/2/17 EDD 3/8/20 DS2 born on 3/10/20 EDD 11/24/23 (Formerly Marriedhamstermom Feb ‘17)
@Malidocious I guess I’m the UO here but I’ve never gotten a flu shot, pregnant or not. I actually had the flu when I was pregnant with DD, and while it sucked to be sick, I was fine and so was she 🤷🏼♀️.
Upcoming appts: midwife appt tomorrow morning, anatomy scan on 10/24
How are you feeling?: physically, really good. emotionally, all over the place.
Cravings/Aversions: aversions to meat still, craving all the sweet things
Rants/Raves/Questions: I am super anxious because I went to Palm Springs with friends, got eaten my mosquitoes, and just learned there have been a few cases of west nile in that area this year. I know logically the risk is low, but I am so nervous that I won't have any west nile symptoms (since 80 percent of cases are asymptomatic), but the baby will still be negatively affected. Am I being crazy? Should I ask to get the blood test for west nile even if I have no symptoms? Anyone else live in an area with confirmed west nile?
Malidocious I will be getting my flu shot tomorrow. My biggest concern is the negative effects on the developing baby when the mom gets the flu-- there is research to show it can negatively impact development if untreated.
@miss.sally I am sorry your DH is being like that. I hope he turns it around soon.
@miss.sally I'm sorry about DH. That dynamic sounds similar to me and DH, where he's always right, and I hate arguing, so I tend to bottle it up. Hopefully things turn around soon!
@Malidocious I got my flu shot at my last appointment. I used to get them every now and then, when it was convenient, but now that I have a kid, I will always make sure my family gets shots. DS caught it last year in daycare, and his only symptom was a fever. The doctor credits the vaccine for it being so mild for him. *TW Working in media, I've seen too many horrific stories about children dying from the flu
@stacey6689 I'm dreading the scale today too! Yikes! I second @varimama and used Lucie's List a lot as a FTM. I've recommended it on other boards here. She does a great job comparing different things to figure out what you need and it also made me realize that cheaper doesn't mean less safe, which was a nice relief!
@varimama Jealous of those benefits! DH will get zero time off, so we're trying to figure that out.
Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't been around much. I'm finding it really hard to keep up!
@stassischroeder I'm sorry that you are still nauseous. What a bummer! @Malidocious same with harassing baby with the doppler. I can't wait to feel consistent movement so I can stop worrying. @EmilyLove25 YAS to pickles. and vinegar. And more pickles. @stacey6689 My AS is 11/1 too! I'll be thinking of you.
EDD/W+D: 3/12 17+5
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: Green so far, may find out at the anatomy scan
Baby is the size of a(n): Playstation controller
Upcoming appts: Check up this Friday, AS on 11/1
How are you feeling?: SPD seems to be lightened up which is great. Still having sciatica. Starting to get out of breath on the stairs. All in all so much better though. I'm so happy to not be nauseous or getting migraines every day.
Cravings/Aversions: Bagels, pasta, muffins, allllll the carbs.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I went back to yoga which is so good for me on so many levels. It's nice to spend some time just focused on me, and to get in that strength building and stretching.
Question - my mom is going to come stay with us a few days before my due date through when baby comes. However, we don't have a guest room. Should we get a pull-out couch or a really good air mattress? Which would you rather sleep on?
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I've never seen a ghost, but I have experienced a lot of weird stuff. I totally believe in the paranormal!
How are you feeling?: Better, but still gassy and lots of cramps/braxton hicks now. Relieved cause my appointment went well today. Finally heard baby's heartbeat on my OB's doppler instead of a quickie ultrasound. Got my flu shot and had more blood drawn.
Cravings/Aversions: I wanted stuffed shells really bad this weekend and DH did the grocery shopping and came home too late and forgot the ricotta. I uh cried. Like a lot.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm just tired of my husband being gone for 12-14 hours a day and hoping this project he's working on wraps up soon.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? Yes, in a general way.
@Malidocious We're big fans of the flu shot since having the first kid. I just got mine today and my 2 yr old got hers a couple of weeks ago. She's been picking up everything possible in the last month since starting preschool and she's given me four colds. March is the tail end of the height of flu season in Illinois I believe, so I'm not willing to risk it. And this year's season is supposed to be pretty bad too.
Upcoming appts: Had one yesterday, A/S planned in 2 weeks! (How am I halfway there already?!)
How are you feeling?: Better. I was dealing with major nausea and stomach issues Thurs-Monday, but yesterday I was fine, so I'm hoping that's done! I also get to start my new work shift next week, and I'm hoping the more regular sleeping hours will bring an improvement.
Cravings/Aversions: When my stomach was bothering me, nothing sounded good. Now I'm back to my random "oh I need that right now" cravings.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant: DS1 has another ear infection. Poor guy. We may have to investigate going to an ENT after all. Luckily he doesn't really act sick, and it's more of an inconvenience of keeping up with his temp and meds. Rave: Yesterday's appointment went well! I got to hear baby boy's heartbeat and BP and weight are good. Also, my parents will be here this weekend and we're going to an event Friday I've always wanted to see! It's over 5,000 carved Jack O Lanterns on a trail at a park. Should be fun, but hoping the weather cooperates.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I'm amused and interested in it all, but I haven't personally experienced anything to make me a believer.
How are you feeling?: Better this week. It’s still day by day with the nausea and I still don’t have a huge appetite. I am down 15lbs as of my last appointment but my provider is ok with it for now.
Cravings/Aversions: no cravings necessarily except wanting a large, cold, sub sandwich (and chances are one I got it, I wouldn’t want it 😂).
Rants/Raves/Questions: Most everyone above me is getting/has a Doppler which I was considering. What brand has everyone gone with? Pros? Cons?
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I SUPER believe in this stuff and have experienced some friendly paranormal activity- nothing inherently scary. I think it’s so cool!
@miss.sally I will not be getting the flu shot either but will get the Tdap.
Missing you all now that Week 1 board is finally bumping! Still lurking re: flu shot, DH uncle is an OB (excellent for texting questions at all times of the day, lol) and he highly recommends flu shot ASAP for pregnant women. *TW in spoiler
He said he’s only lost one adult patient ever and it was from the flu. A woman got the flu either right at the end of her pregnancy or right after delivering and died 3 weeks later. Clearly I’m not a doctor but he was very insistent on me getting mine ASAP!
@emilyac Glad to hear you're feeling better. I have a sonoline doppler that I got for cheap on offer up. I recommend trying there or Facebook marketplace is you're looking for a deal!
How are you feeling?: I’ve been MIA this week because we were in Disney World. Oh what was I thinking taking two toddlers to Disney while pregnant?! It was so much fun but I may never recover. So exhausted!
Cravings/Aversions: Give me all the salads and veggies please. I’ve been starving and there is so much unhealthy stuff in Disney I feel gross.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Second, or third time mamas, are you feeling different this pregnancy? I feel like my body is not handling it as well and I’m disappointed in how worn out I feel already. I also feel like family and friends expect me to have this under control since it’s my third time and instead I need their help and support more than ever.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? Not ghosts but angels. I’ve had circumstances where I just knew someone I loved was there with me or sending a message.
@momoftoddlers I’m SO with you on feeling extra exhausted this pregnancy! I really thought that by the third time it should be easier but it absolutely feels like things have just gotten progressively worse. I’ve been pretty open with my friends about feeling horrible and tired and I’m sorry if I’m not going out with you but I literally can’t. Major props to you for going to Disney! We are talking about going in December but it hasn’t been decided yet. Were you able to go on any rides?
@miss.sally Thanks for sharing. I’m glad I’m not the only one but man does this suck for us! I WAS able to go on a lot of rides at Disney, my kids are 2 and 4 so basically anything that was okay for them I think was okay for me (Except like the spinning tea cups). My problem was waiting in lines. It was 85 degrees with like 100 percent humidity so any time I stood still in a line I got instantly sick. So we stuck to rides with no lines in the early morning and fast pass after that. We took it very slow and left the park by noon everyday bc I just could not handle any more, and neither could the kids. And pool afternoons were wonderful. It was fun, but it would have been more fun not not pregnant and with slightly older kids.
@momoftoddlers I would have DIED. I get worn out just carrying my toddler around the mall, let alone having to endure heat and humidity with TWO young kids.
Re: Group 2 (3/9-3/16) Weekly Check-in w/o 10.7
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: pink

EDD/W+D: March 12, 17 weeks + 4 days

Baby is the size of a(n): Chipmunk
Upcoming appts: My god… it is THIS Thursday for the Anatomy Scan. I’ve never had it at 18 weeks, but I was able to fold in a regular appointment with the scan if I did it at 18, and since I work an hour away ONE appointment is better than two, but I can’t believe it is so soon!
How are you feeling?: Pretty good overall! Even the exhaustion has lifted a bit!
Cravings/Aversions: I want all the salt and vinegar. All of it. Pickles, vinegar on sandwiches, black olives… I feel like a cliché.
Rants/Raves/Questions: RAVES: Anatomy scan this week AND the weather is finally fall-ish!
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? Not exactly, but I believe the mind is a very, very powerful thing.

@stassischroeder OMG YES to the Doppler. When I’m stressed out and just need reassurance, it’s the BEST.
@miss.sally Ugh being tired AND dealing with a mean DH. I’ve been there. I hope you get some energy back here for the next 13 weeks or so.
@malidocious I only get the flu shot when pregnant, but yes!

Baby is the size of a(n): Turnip

Baby is the size of a(n):

Baby is the size of a(n): 5ish inches
Upcoming appts: anatomy scan on the 28th!
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: blue 💙
Baby is the size of a(n): Tribble (Star Trek)
Upcoming appts: A/S on 10/18
How are you feeling?: still waves of nausea but it’s slowly getting better, still exhausted but maybe that bc of my toddler 🤣 Back pain is already starting and headaches.
GTKY: Do you believe in ghosts/have you ever seen a ghost? I’ve never seen a ghost for sure but I’ve had enough strange paranormal experiences that I can’t deny there may be ghosts. I hope any spirits know I’m happy to share our space as long as they don’t harm my kids.

Team finding out/pink/blue/green: green
Baby is the size of a(n): pomegranate
Upcoming appts: Anatomy scan 10/30
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: Blue
Baby is the size of a(n): Sweet Potato

Upcoming appts: A/S on 10/21 and Midwife on 11/1
How are you feeling?: Better this week.
He said he’s only lost one adult patient ever and it was from the flu. A woman got the flu either right at the end of her pregnancy or right after delivering and died 3 weeks later. Clearly I’m not a doctor but he was very insistent on me getting mine ASAP!

Baby is the size of a(n): 🤷🏻♀️
Upcoming appts: Anatomy Scan end of month
