How many months/cycles had you been TTC? Since May 2018. We tried for a year, saw the RE, saw that my tubes were blocked and that I had polyps, had a laparoscopy, took orilissa for 3 months to make my body basically menopausal, tried out fertility meds and got too many eggs to try, and finally got back to trying the old fashioned way.
How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) I started in late December, though I did take a couple weeks off here and there when I was benched.
What did your chart look like? My temps have been a mess since I can’t sleep to my usual wake up.
What were you doing TGKU? Prenatals, opk, cm, no caffeine or booze, bargaining with God
How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)
My boobs felt a little heavier and looked slightly bigger, but the bsc always sets in with some new symptom. They’re sore too, but they’re always sore in tww. TMI: The most hopeful symptom was that mh thought that my body was telling him that I was really into our alone time when I wasn’t, at 9dpo. So I guess more internal cm during tww.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I whispered in his ear during a hug after he had gotten home late from work. We’re both super nervous about how this plays out since I’m higher risk (especially with ectopic possibilities due to stretched out sac-y tubes), so I didn’t want to go overboard.
Anything else to add? Geez, guys, I am so thankful that this community exists. Thank you to all those who tried to pick me up on those shit days. I learned a lot about my body while here, but also a lot about compassion. Rest assured, I will indeed lurk, and I’m hoping so hard for everyone. And, of course, if anyone wants me to edit or remove anything/everything, just let me know!
