It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 as I assumed, it was too early to see a gestational sac. Next week would be better to confirm but I am going back home for 2 weeks so I would have to schedule another u/s over there, which I will try to do. The good news is that the u/s did show I ovulated from the left ovary which is the side with the normal tube. They also did some blood work for hCG and progesterone and will do more on Wednesday. They really want to see progesterone levels. If they go down, it would mean it's not a viable pregnancy/ectopic.
TTC#1 10/2018: MFI (2 SA under 9 million/ml) 11/2018: HSG shows right Fallopian tube slightly damaged 1/2019: Husband diagnosed with grade 3 varicocele 4/05/2019: varicocele repair surgery 6/13/2019: BFP!!! EDD: 2/22/2020 Baby girl born 2/27/2020 7/18/2019: Total Motile Count at 3 months post surgery = 51 millions!! (number must be >20 millions to conceive naturally).
I just got home from my appt. They confirmed my pregnancy via a urine sample and took 6 vials of blood. I will hear back in the next couple of days regarding my hCG and Progesterone levels. My next appt. is at the OB on July 23! So far away!!!
I’m so annoyed that I don’t know when my first official OB appointment is. I go on June 25 for a pregnancy test. Essentially the same thing I did at home, but at the doctor. And they said I had to be a week late. I just wanna know when I can see what’s happening with baby in there! Hopefully before July 4 (that’ll be 7w+).

@ibabyloveb87 That's super annoying, I'm sorry they're making you wait so long for a urine test! They won't take us for the heartbeat until 8-10 weeks.
Second beta is tomorrow morning. Thankfully I’m at work all day today which should keep my brain occupied and then I’m off tomorrow so I can do some fun stuff to stay occupied between blood draw and phone call. Even if doubling nicely they may have me do a third which is just another agonizing wait!
So I talked them into getting my blood checked. They just gave me the hCG results and nothing else. 25,823 miu/ml at 5w 5d. Said it’s appropriately high. But no plan for a second test, so no idea about doubling time... and no info on progesterone. Would you ladies push back for more info?
I’m questioning if I should be looking for a new doc given the frustration of dealing with them so far. I moved here recently, so my doc is a totally random pick and we have no history before the one pre-conception appointment earlier this year.

@um_thor now that you’ve had spotting and your hcg is high I would call your doc. They might actually try an ultrasound. Hcg normally doesn’t double when hcg is that high, so I am not sure if it’s as good of a diagnostic tool this far along. They could always check progesterone, but with a hx of spotting I would assume they would just do an ultrasound.
edit for clarification
hcg doubles every 48 hrs until around 1200. Past 1200 there is a wide range of normal and hcg doesn’t always double.
Thank you @therealbitts and @brookert615 First beta was 932, today's was 2372! RE is happy and I don't have to do a third. I'm relieved (still nervous but already feeling much better.) Scheduled first ultrasound on July 3rd at 6w5d
First OB was just on Monday. We got a surprise US. Crazy but until we saw the baby and heartbeat none of this seemed real! It was a memorable few minutes for husband and I. Confirmed EDD 2/6. Still waiting on bloodwork results. Next Appt 7/15.
I got the results of my 2nd blood draw back today 😀 started at 22 6/6 and up to over 4,000 as of 6/19. 🥰 I will have my first US Monday at 10 😁 so excited!
First appointment went well today, talked to the nurse and went over some stuff and getting some blood tests and a glucose test right now. Appointment for hearing baby’s heartbeat is set for July 25th! ❤️
I have an ultrasound today later in the afternoon! Can't wait! I hate trying to drink enough for the transabdominal US... I always drink too much and then have to pee really badly while I wait for it.
Thanks @Swiftlet! I'm 7w2d by my calculations... But I might be farther along since my cycles are usually longer. I think it's just their policy to try transabdominal first and then do transvaginal if it's hard to see anything.
@brookert615 thx! I have learned from past ultrasound appointments not to drink all the fluids that they want me to... They're always late and if I did drink what they told me to, my bladder would be bursting. So this time I drank more conservatively and it worked out!
Looking forward to getting my nipt test done in a couple weeks now
It’s finally here! Today’s the day I finally get to (hopefully) see my little bean! 🥰 according to calculations from my LMP I will be 7 weeks tomorrow. Hoping and praying to hear the heartbeat 😀
Well, I got to see my little bean who is measuring exactly as I thought, 6 weeks 6 days 🥰 unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures but we did get to see the heartbeat flutter which was a special moment. Due date confirmed for 2/11/20. 😁
