Not related to any specific incidents, but just a general WTF to parents and students who treat teachers like garbage.

Also, who TF decided to schedule election day on Tuesdays? I have to recover from it the rest of the week. Make it Thursday, so we just have Friday, and then the weekend to decompress.

@MrsVP614 I believe the country with the highest voter turnout is Sweden or something and their election days are Saturdays. I think the big problem we have is people don't realize they can't be penalized for missing some work to go to the polls. But moving the date to a weekend would probably make more sense since more people would be free from work responsibilities (minus people in retail and such).

I'd just like to say WTF to people who can't follow TB rules regarding posting in the correct place. Like the +HPT thread stares at you from the top not far from the new discussion button. Makes me laugh, but come on man!

WTF why is not eating a strawberry a thing? Berries are really good for you! Being with my H has gotten me to root for the Pats but Tom Brady is a wackadoo...

Almost got into a wreck on the highway because some people don't understand the whole yielding to traffic on the highway while getting off of a ramp  .

@MrsVP614 @varimama - yeah isn't there a whole huge list of things he and Gisele don't eat b/c he believes they cause inflammation? I think it's "nightshades" (I don't fully know what those are) and tomatoes are one too.

And re: election day, ugh almost nothing pisses me off more than any kind of effort to make it harder to vote. There is a push in Congress now to make Election Day a federal holiday and some lawmakers have come out VERY hard against it (essentially saying openly that if more people voted it would cause them to lose their seats in Congress...um, what does that tell you, jerks??). Like what are you even doing there if you're against THE central point of a democracy??

I never thought I would feel the desire to make an argument on FB over anything political but some of the recent bills in various states have me so irritated.

I am a Pats fan and I love Tom Brady (but I get why most people do not), but even I think that's a really stupid thing to write an article about.  Like, who on earth would tune in to watch that?

@inthewoods23 It's been reallllly hard living in a state about to pass a bill like that. I think I am headed to a protest next week & dragging a (dude) friend w/ me who was yelling the other night about how f'd up everything is & how he felt helpless. I was like "are you willing to *do something* about it? bc I am going to call you when I  want go to a protest. & I'm going to be upset if you say no."

My WTF Wednesday is how TF I missed this excellent thread earlier. ::upside down smiley face:: Also, WHY TF am I not tired bc it's late for me.

@kagesstarshroom If it helps, I grew up 5 miles from the stadium, and they were terrible when I became a fan.  I still have a T-shirt from 1997 that says "Squeeze the Cheese"... spoiler alert: they did not successfully squeeze the cheese, and I went to my room and cried.  And I'll still be a fan when Tom Brady is gone and they're terrible again.

@shamrocandroll That helps bc it seeeems like you didn't have a choice in the matter. I understand. It also helps that we beat you in Super Bowl 52. ^_~* Okee, we can be pending BFFs again.

@kagesstarshroom I mean... technically I always had a choice (my brother, for example, is a Titans fan for some inexplicable reason), but I didn't choose them because they were the greatest team in the NFL, you know?  I chose them because I've just always been a home team supporter, and they were the closest of all my home teams.  Then, they just happened to become the greatest team in the NFL.    Really, I've just been really lucky in my lifetime with Boston sports.
