What healthy habit/s are you working on? Staying on my yoga routine! Drinking enough water! Also adding: low-carb diet to the mix.
How's it going? When I am home all day or almost all day, I almost ALWAYS meet my water and yoga goals. Esp. since I might have to get a retail job for the summer, I have to work on better ways to make those things happen when I am not home as much. As for the low-carb thing, I am in the middle of making a list of good options for low/no carb meals and snacks. I'm not a big bread fan, but I realize I have been taking in carbs a lot of other ways.
What’s a “small win” you have from last week? yoga on 4/7 days ; water goal met only 3/7 though
GTKY: What's your favorite go-to healthy snack? Nuts! Right now I am keeping a jar of almonds on my desk--I don't have to get up to get them, and they're super healthy.
What healthy habit/s are you working on? Eating slowly so I eat less, drink less caffeine and more water
How's it going? I ate half a sub in a matter of 5 minutes today so not great lol
What’s a “small win” you have from last week? Over the last few days I've been more conscious of the times I choose soda for a drink. I'm at least thinking about it! But I haven't fully put on the effort to not drink it
GTKY: What's your favorite go-to healthy snack? DH's homemade beef jerky. I also enjoy cheese and crackers and of late, goat cheese. I've really got into a habit of not snacking though.

@brookert615 I'm like that with cereal sometimes. It's so hard to stop!
What healthy habit/s are you working on? Losing weight with weight watchers, and increasing activity and water.
How's it going? Today's been good, after a few weeks of being way off track. I went to CycleBar and tracked all of my food.
What’s a “small win” you have from last week? I'm still chugging tons of water, despite less than ideal eating.
ETA: Currently resisting donuts and cookies at work
GTKY: What's your favorite go-to healthy snack? Things I always try to have stocked... fruit, triscuit thin crisps, babybel light cheese, Trader Joe's less guilt guacamole, and sugar free fudge pops. I also love shrimp cocktail as a snack!
Hey ladies! So sorry I've been MIA.... I needed some time for self-pity and to pull myself out of the funk I've been in, but I was lurking and keeping up with you all... and now I'm back!
@kagesstarshroom so great that you're sticking to your yoga routines!! I actually am the opposite of you, I tend to stick to my routines more when I'm working than I am when I'm at home (like on the weekends). At work, we have a gym, so I also go on my lunch break. But at home, like with an extra day off, I either don't want to do ANYTHING or I'm just running so many errands! I'm also way better at drinking water when I'm at work than I am when I'm at home.
@inthewoods23 have you tried switching to those little cans of soda? Not as good as cutting it out all together, but it's a good way to cut back and it's a start at totally eliminating it.
@brookert615 I love sugar snap peas!!! So goooooood!
@MrsVP614 all of your snacks options are making me hungry!
What healthy habit/s are you working on? Just getting myself back into my routines... Getting back to gym after taking almost like 2 weeks off (still did a few workouts at home though). I just haven't had the motivation lately and I need to snap out of it.
How's it going? I'll let you know after this week hahaha I am going to the gym this afternoon though, and I have my workouts listed out so I know exactly what I'm going to do.
What’s a “small win” you have from last week? I did a lot of walking last week, so at least I did that!
GTKY: What's your favorite go-to healthy snack? Fruit... always fruit!

@brookert615 I found this cycle that my inability to control my diet was way harder the week before AF? I wonder why--like if it's a body/craving issue? Or like, psychological. Drinking water is important!
@kpearse99 I feel you on lack of motivation to work out! The thing that makes me crazy is that... working out is what gives me the motivation to not just work out but do all the things. It's just a matter of remembering that for me. It's funny how we are opposite. I was one of those people who couldn't stand gym class in high school, so I think going to a "gym" or taking any sort of class, like--working out in public--is still scary to me?
@inthewoods23 It took me a while to stop drinking soda, but once I did, now I don't really like the taste of it? Sugary drinks are weird like that. It's like when you stop eating cheap chocolate and then try a hersheys bar lol and you're like ew. IDK if you're ever experienced either of those things, but it's something that will help you with this goal! I drink a lot of La Croix now, even though I never really loved seltzer. It was missing something--and now I don't really like that something, so yay.
@kagesstarshroom it's funny that you mention the Hershey's because when I do slow down to really taste the chocolate it's like... This tastes.. off? Lol I used to like a lot of chocolate things but now a lot are just too rich so maybe it's just my taste buds changing

@MrsVP614 Oh! CycleBar looks so fun! That's awesome about the good changes you're making!
@inthewoods23 A sub sounds amazing right now, not going to lie LOL.
@brookert615 idk if you have a Firehouse Subs by you, but they have a new Cajun chicken sub and it was delicious!
I definitely need to get into the habit of bringing lunches from home instead because then I always have enough time for a 20-30 minute walk during my lunch break. Like today!

Like @kpearse99 I'm opposite of @kagesstarshroom and stick with my routine much better through the work week. I'm also the same with soda. It's too much, and I only have it every now and then and it's usually a McDonald's coke, since there's crack in it or something. Ha! I can also usually pass on Hershey's chocolate. I'm team dark chocolate all the way and would rather have a Godiva truffle or something super decadent, even though it's smaller than a whole bar.
Okay I have been SO BAD with diet and exercise for a little over a week. So as an accountability post I just signed up for the next FighterDiet challenge and ordered the new cookbook! I'm in the current Spring challenge and I didn't do progress pictures the last two Wednesday's. But I am super excited because the challenge has an app that I can follow? And apparently I can do everything at home so we will see!
@brookert615 whoohoo! You got this- girl! Keep us posted!
