    Trying for THB #2. Month/cycle 6, WTO.

Not a good weekend, and then DS had a rough morning. Add in being late to work because someone spun out on the parkway ramp plus the OB office not returning either of my two calls after they called me on Friday = I’m a mess over here. I’m worried it’s my pap results, but hoping that the RE just requested my paperwork. I spent two hours doing their online paperwork and mandatory education courses. Luckily I knew all of it from TB and TCOYF... let’s hope the rest of the day is better. I’m praying that my earring shows up and DH not only washes, dries, and folds the laundry but also that he can get a free part to fix the vacuum. I’m also praying we don’t get water in the basement. Come on, good mojo!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@varimama I'm an engineer as well!  I work in an industry that uses semiconductors (specifically IGBTs), but I mostly just break them, as I'm a reliability engineer.

@NYTino24 Wow, that's a lot!  I hope your day turns around ASAP!

    Month/Cycle? 6

    WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? 17 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? I think we had decent timing despite being away from each other for some of my usual FW so I’m more hopeful than I thought I would be. Probably too hopeful.

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave/Brag: DD was in children’s hospital sat night-Sunday for her asthma but she was fine the whole time so it really wasn’t that bad. The room we were in was on the same floor as the NICU where we spent 2 months and it was oddly comforting to walk past and think about how far we have come and how much more confident I am dealing with the doctors and her medical issues now.

GTKY: I always wanted to be teacher, I think just because I loved school and my teachers so much. By the time I was in high school I figured out that I would never have the patience for that!

  • @bows22 Oh no!  Im glad your DD is doing okay!  Asthma can be so scary!  Let me know if you ever need to talk about it.  DS has virus-induced asthma.

    Ages of other child(ren)? 2.5
Any thoughts about this cycle?  We had really terrible timing so I am positive this cycle will be a bust, but I am ok with that since were are taking a more relaxed/NTNP approach right now.
    Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave/Brag: I woke up to the garage cleaned out and the dishes done! It was so nice. DH worked all day yesterday so it was just me and DD until he was home for bedtime.
GTKY: What did you want to be when you grew up? I never remember from when I was really young, I will have to ask my mom sometime. I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer after taking a class freshman year of high school and that is what I do now.

Any thoughts about this cycle? We opted to do EOD this cycle + Digital OPK to confirm my peak. So I guess we sort of ended up doing the SMEP. I got my Peak reading this morning so I suspect O will be tomorrow. FX! No real thoughts except I'm just grateful I keep O'ing from my left side (I don't have a right tube). I don't seem to alternate months like I used to before my DS was born.

Any questions? Silly question, but if I O tomorrow does it really make a difference HIO in the AM vs PM? As long as we hit this evening?

Rant/Rave/Brag: Mother's Day is officially my favorite day of the year. All the cute creations my DS came home with last week made everything worth it. I just love him so much!

  • @MrsVP614 That book sounds amazing. Good for your H for finding great gifts for you.

@varimama Your S is going to be such a cute ring bearer.

@NYTino24 Wow. Hope your day turned around.

@shamrocandroll So sorry about the BFN. The SSing can be so cruel.

@kpearse99 So glad you had a nice weekend and got dates in with your H.

@bows22 Hope your D is doing better. That is so scary.

@flinstone-2 I missed you. Glad you’re back. I’m so sorry that you felt that way. This process is such a brat down. As for dealing with questions on if you O, I totally get you. I fool myself every cycle into thinking I O’d due to CM or O pain or both. It’s frustrating and painful because it always hits so hard when I finally confirm that I didn’t O. Honestly, I think it’s my body trying and failing to O, but I don’t know. I usually wait until I’m sure I didn’t O before starting Provera. Sometimes I take an HPT to be certain. Hope you get some good guidance from your RE to help you out going forward.

@puppylove8910 I don't think it matters if you HIO in the AM or PM tomorrow... if you are HIO tonight though I would probably wait to do it again tomorrow night so that there's more opportunity for sperm to build up more.  If that makes sense?

The drop down isn’t coming up for tags so not sure if these are going to work...

@mrsvp614 those Mother’s Day gifts are so sweet! I’m glad you had a nice day

@varimama that’s so exciting about DS being a ring bearer. I hope DD gets to be a flower girl someday. I never got to when I was little and it was a tragedy for my younger self haha

@nytino24 wow you are really having a day. I hope you have some resolutions now

@shamrocandroll thank you! I will probably take you up on that. I struggled this year with putting anything on social media for Mother’s Day for the reasons you mentioned. It wasn’t something I thought about before this group but I’m glad to know better now.

@kpearse99 very jealous of your Sara Bareilles tickets! I saw her when she was in waitress on broadway and it was so awesome, I would love to see her in concert. Off to google if she’s coming near me...

@mercury94 5 year old you’s incorrect prediction is hilarious haha - I also laughed your “plus I can actually see” comment - always a bonus!

@m6agua if I woke up to the garage cleaned out I would maybe die of happiness. That’s awesome!

@flintstone-2 no clue on the varying OPKs but I did have fallback rises like you described several times when I was temping so maybe your temps are OK?

@puppylove8910 I’m curious to see others answers to your question. On the cycle I got PG with DD we HIO on the morning of O day so I’ve been curious if morning is better

@MrsVP614 I'm glad you had a great weekend and DH was thoughtful with your gifts.
@varimama My nephew was about that age when he was ring bearer at my wedding, his mom ended up having to help walk him down because he was too shy. It was still cute though.
@NYTino24 I hope your day has gotten better!
@shamrocandroll I think our kids are both November babies, mine was on the 20th. They are growing up so fast!
@kpearse99 That is an awesome gift!
@mercury94 That is a good sign that he is saying when he poops!
@bows22 I hope your daughter is doing better.
@flinstone-2 I hope you get some answers at your appointment.

Not good news, guys. Mild inflammation, but I do need a culposcopy. I’m not benched, but boy am I feeling down today. They also said that it isn’t a reason for the TTC struggle. I have to take another half day off in addition to the full day off for the RE. Scheduling sucks around here. It took NINE calls throughout the day to get through to someone. It isn’t making me feel that confident about switching to their office, although the staff has been much nicer than my previous office. If the highway is any indication, our basement is probably flooded...

  • @bows22 I still post about it, but I'm also sure to post something that recognizes people who struggle with the holiday.  I think moms still deserve to be recognized, but I also try to be more sensitive to others now that I know.

@m6agua I remember you from N16.  I think you came over to the private group, but then didn't come over to FB with us.  It's great to see you again!  Maybe we'll end up in the same BMB again.  DS is Nov. 11.  :)

@NYTino24 Ugh, I am so sorry you're going through all of this.  I've had a culposcopy and tissue sample done before (11ish years ago now) and it isn't pleasant, but it's a quick and pretty minor procedure.  I hope it goes smoothly and things turn around for you soon!  And also hope your basement isn't flooded!!!

Call your OB to see if Advil is allowed beforehand. If yes, then definitely take some an hour before the procedure. I did this with my HSG and it helped a lot!

Wow! Glad to see so many TFAS ladies moving onto BMBs!

@varimama Love that your DS is going to be a ring bearer! So cute! When my cousin was around that age, he was the ring bearer in his dad's wedding. He thought he got to wear a "bear" costume, and was so confused when they put his tux on him. Ha!

@NYTino24 Thinking of you and sending some positive vibes your way!

@shamrocandroll Don't feel guilty about previous social media posts. It's definitely good to have the perspective that this group has given me, but I also think that everyone deserves a chance to celebrate when it's their time. ETA: Major sore boobs were my first sign of pregnancy, so fingers crossed that your BFN was just too early.

@kpearse99 Awesome Mother's Day gifts! I love that you get to teach dance! I wish I had more opportunity to do that.

@mercury94 I'm also wondering if I should start trying potty training with DS. I may discuss with his daycare, since they'll have a heavy hand in it.

@bows22 Scary about DD, but glad she's doing better. It's good that you have those feelings about the NICU. I still have really strong anxiety surrounding DS's NICU experience.

@flinstone-2 It's funny, because I'm looking to get out of TV, but I know when that day comes, there will be things I miss about it.

  • @bows22 That's good to know. I've changed my OB who delivers at a different hospital with a better NICU, just in case, for this next time around. I also haven't gone back to the hospital where we delivered DS. When 2 friends had babies there last year, I couldn't bring myself to visit there. DH had to do a video shoot in the same NICU and said it was really hard. :( I realize I'm lucky that all is well now, but it's tough to face all those feelings again.

@MrsVP614 we were in our children’s hospital’s NICU because DD needed surgery so I have been forced to go back a ton of times because the specialists she sees all have clinics there. So that probably has helped me move past it. Also I think that now that we are TFAS some of that anxiety has transferred to, will I even know what I’m doing in the newborn stage since DD didn’t come home until she was 2 months old, etc. So maybe I just have anxiety about different things now haha.

I’m glad though that you changed OBs though. I’m sure it will be better having a totally different experience this time around. And obviously hopefully you won’t need a NICU stay but it will be good to have a better NICU too.
  • Temps plummeted today... so definitely think my body geared up and never actually ovulated. UGHHHHH.

  • @flinstone-2 Ugh, I'm sorry.  FX for a quick reset and a normal cycle next!

Update:  Definitely still negative.  I had a stomach virus (or something) yesterday, and slept for like 10 hours without peeing, so my FMU was definitely concentrated this morning and still a stark while BFN.  Ah well.  I can't say I am surprised this cycle.  Looking forward to the next one!

@varimama that’s good that she is chill. It’s still adorable even if they don’t walk themselves.
