  • Month/Cycle: 5/1 AL

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: currently benched. BBT and OPK until next month.

R/R: Finally got back to running yesterday! It was nice to have the energy again! Also, I have a field trip today with my kiddos. I’m ready for a day of fun with them.

CS/Q: none. Figuring out temps AL. My chart is looking funky. Lol

  • @ejoseph16 getting back to exercising feels so good! Enjoy your field trip!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 11

WAYDTGKU: OPK, CM, pre seed, PNV

R/R: DH is so stressed with work and it’s given him a short temper which has seeped into my temper I think. We are just not on the same page the last few days. Today he was pissed at me bc he forgot to turn his alarm off and it woke me up and I was trying to turn it off and hit a wrong button. I wanted to be like dude just chill but I know he’s having a hard time so I held my tongue.

  • @varimama marriage... right? Arguments over alarm clocks are my favorite. My husband in a sleepy stooper asked me to turn his off one time, and when I told him no, he was so mad and telling me how he has to do everything. We laugh about it now, but at the time I wanted to punch him in his face. Lol

@emeraldduchess so sorry about your day yesterday! Mine got thrown off as well. It must have just been the day! Happy teacher appreciation! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

WAYDTGKU: nothing currently, will be home tomorrow to get in a “just in case” HIO in but if I had to guess yesterday or today is O.

R/R: this hotel doesn’t seem big enough to hold our group. It was standing room only at some of the sessions yesterday and they ran out of the afternoon snack! (before I got one). So now i have to get down there early this morning to make sure I have a seat. I’m tired and cranky :)

  • bows22bows22 member
@ejoseph16 great job running! I hope your temps give you a clearer picture soon!

@varimama I hope things calm for your DH soon. I don’t think I would be as understanding as you are haha

@emeraldduchess enjoy the snacks! Even though fhat’s a touchy subject for me right now hahah
  • @keikilove my last AF was horrific and I blame the progesterone. Heavy, crampy, icky, etc.

  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD: 3

WAYDTGKU: waiting for RE appointment, BBT, CM, OPK, Maca, PNV, Vitex, B complex, B6, C, D, magnesium, selenium, Omega3, baby aspirin, Preseed

R/R: Lots to complain about. I had a stomach bug last night and AF was so bad I had to change my clothes during the middle of the night. My gums are bleeding and I have painful bruises all over, mainly on my legs from crawling around. I think I’m gonna stop taking the baby aspirin. It hasn’t made a difference the last 5 months anyway. Thoughts? (I have Von Willebrand’s, a clotting disorder and MFM told me to take it while TTC / if PG). My dentist wants to put me on antibiotics that I can’t take while TTC since my gums are so bad.

CS/Q: not temping until AF ends

@ejoseph16 Temps are often wonky AL. Hormones can still be off. Hope you are doing okay and that you get an obvious temp shift.

@inthewoods23 Glad you had fun. Sounds like you’re their lucky charm! We were asked to nominate our most improved students to be on field at a minor league game, but my nominee student’s parents didn’t let him go. I was looking forward to it, but it was cold and dreary anyway.

@emeraldduchess Good luck with your appointment! Why didn’t you get a break? That sure isn’t a way to show you appreciate a teacher! I had to wait until 12:10 for lunch and 2:35 for prep yesterday/ today because of testing and AF is REALLY BAD today. I can’t imagine not getting a break.

@bows22 hope you still end up with good timing! And that sucks that they ran out of snacks and don’t have enough room, not cool at all!

@keikilove I’m so sorry you’re having a rough cycle, I hope you get some answers from your dr soon! Also sorry about your fight, I hate fighting with my H, it just feels bad all around so I hope yours apologizes for starting one!

@ejoseph16 - have fun on the field trip! That's such a good feeling to get back to exercise!
@varimama - annoying! Hopefully he chills out, that sounds similar to a lot of the last month with my SO who had a big project he was working on!
@emeraldduchess - ugh during teacher appreciation week no less!
@keikilove - Oh no so sorry about the icky cycle! I have no experience with progesterone but hope you're feeling better soon...
@NYTino24 - So sorry you're feeling so bad! Hope you get a break from it soon. I might check with the doctor too before stopping the aspirin...

@misshelen86 thanks! Unfortunately the snack situation has not improved. I had a client ask if he could call me during our afternoon break and you better believe I am getting my snack first :D. A massage sounds wonderful, enjoy!

@m6agua I hear you on the needing more time. The “one thing a day” off my to do list that we talked about before has gone by the wayside. I need to get back on track. I just get overwhelmed at a certain point and just block it all out.

@bows22 Sorry I missed your post, I guess we were posting at the same time. Hopefully all the info at your conference is well worth the over-crowding? But they’ve really got to straighten out the snack situation! I like the way you’ve prioritized getting one 😁👍🏽

@NYTino24 I’m sorry you’re also going through such ick right now. We’re living the same sad life this week. I second what others have said: Check with a hematologist. Personally, I do stop things that are making me feel bad without checking with my doc first. You know your body best.  But Baby Aspirin seems to be such a huge part of success for so many people I’m not sure you should stop altogether. There are alternatives to it that may not make you bruise as much, such as Vit E/DHA, or look into nattokinase. Also, depending on how your clotting disorder works you may want to ask a hematologist about Lovenox. Seems to be a magic bullet for many w clotting disorders (me too). Re: your dentist, ask for an alternate antibiotic that is safe while TTC/for pregnancy. I’ve had to do this as well for a different infection issue.

@m6agua Good luck with getting those things organized! I need to do the same as what you listed. Have you seen the budgeting worksheets from Happy Planner? I just ordered some & watched some videos online, excited to get started.

@whitealbum29 Glad to hear you’re feeling positive about things in general!

    @misshelen86 Enjoy that massage! Lucky!

@chichiphin Thank you for the input on progesterone. I think that’s what is going on. What a trade off for good progesterone levels!

Thanks @everyone for your kind words re: MH & my argument. He slept on the couch so it will be a couple days before this one gets resolved.🤞🏽

    WAYDTGKU?: just FWP every day

R/R: I workout at a boot camp facility 6 days a week (or try to at least 6 days). Took too many days off for vacation and now I’m so sore I can barely walk! Lol hope it won’t interfere with TTC

CS/Q: do the store bought ovulation tests actually help/work? I’m beginning to think I don’t ovulate at the “general” time I’m supposed to. TIA
  • bows22bows22 member
@jaclynnb24 they are great for detecting the hormone that triggers ovulation, but you can have a surge of that hormone without actually ovulating so they aren’t 100%. You also might have a short surge of hormone and if so you could miss your surge if you only use the OPKs once a day.
  • @inthewoods23 we went to the imagination station. It’s a science center that allows students to explore and do some hands on learning. Very cool! They had a blast.

@keikilove I’m so sorry about your fight with YH. I hope you can talk it out.

@misshelen86 ooooooh a massage sounds heavenly! Enjoy!

@jaclynnb24 I started with the clear blue OPK’s. Super helpful, but also super expensive. This time around, I got wondfo OPK’s from Amazon. I start them tomorrow, but I know a lot of the ladies on here use those and love them. They are much less expensive. MH is really financially conscious and was pleasantly surprised by the price! Something to consider.
  • @bows22 Thank you so much! I have been oddly intimidated by those tests. Just because I didn’t understand how they work 😊

@ejoseph16 awesome!!! Yes DH is also financially conscious so I will definitely have to go check those out!

Thank you you both so much! I will definitely give it a shot!!
  • @jaclynnb24 Welcome, glad to see you’ve jumped right in. :) It’s funny because saw your comment about all the acronyms here, and now I’m stumped on yours hahaha! What does FWP stand for?

As far as the store-bought OPKs: I first tried the CVS brand=20 strips for $20. They were very faint in general, hard to see a true positive. The next time I tried Wondfo, I think, but was a weirdo who didn’t love them. I landed on Pregmate and do love them, they’re super sensitive. I test twice a day during Fertile Week to catch the surge, and don’t mind using so many since there’re about 100 strips for $14. Hope you find a brand you love!
  • @keikilove I had to go look it up.  Apparently it means "f*cking with purpose" and might be my new favorite.

    @misshelen86 @m6agua Good points.

It has been 8 months since I’ve been to the hematologist. I also had thrombocytopenia, but my platelets were back to normal at last check. I can’t get an appointment until after the RE appointment, so I think I am just going to wait. The MFM stance was basically that it can’t hurt and that studies on baby aspirin aren’t conclusive. Typically people with my disorder are told to avoid aspirin and other blood thinners. I was told I didn’t need Lovenox. *TW pregnancy* The hematologist closely monitored me through my pregnancy and delivery as I had to take IV DDAVP since my platelets were just above 100. */TW*
