Another late to the party this week. A lot going on!
@creamcheeseplease my 2yo picked out a bunch of Gerbera daisies now to plant when we went to Lowes. So pretty and bright.
Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 11 weeks 2 days
FTM/STM/STM+: STM
Team Green/Pink/Blue: n/a
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of: lime!
Upcoming Appointments: 5/30 appointment, repeat thyroid bloodwork in 2 week
How are you feeling?: not nauseous anymore, just fatigued pretty much always.
Rants/Raves: my TSH levels have been dropping. RE said it can be normal in early pregnancy but mine are really low, and close to what they consider undetectable. So I’m repeating the blood work a third time to see if it improves (hopefully!) or if I develop gestational hyperthyroidism or something else like Graves Disease. I’ve never had thyroid problems before so this really caught me off guard.
Questions: what are your baby naming “rules”? Would you use a name if someone you know also have that name?
GTKY: What is your favorite flower? peony or just a simple white carnation
@Kurtni I hope you get your levels figured out soon. Pregnancy does weird things. I developed hypothyroid after my first and my tsh has been whacky ever since.
As for names, that totally depends to me! What is the relation? My son has the same name as my friends nephew, but I didn’t see anything wrong with it.
@Kurtni despite my PCOS and a plethora of other issues, my thyroid was normal until I got pregnant! I developed hypothyroidism and they put me on Synthroid. I've been taking it for about 1.5 months now and my levels are now normal. It is amazing what pregnancy does!
