@puppylove8910@MJDsquared thank you. I had a haircut scheduled during my lunch today so that helped and then I wandered around target for awhile. I’ll work late to make up the time but it was nice to get a mental break
@bows22- no, I'm not a bridesmaid and I am totally okay with it. Although it would have been nice to be told exactly what to wear. Find a dress I liked for this wedding has been hard.
@MrsJessS- we also use preseed. It is a common one on the board. We dont use the applicator and just a little bit of it does the job.
@shamrocandroll my MIL has always been terrible about comments like that. Before our first and now for a second. I always think how it must be nice to not even consider the emotions or hardships of another person! So selfish and rude!
@m6agua the soft pokeballs sounds so great! Also, fires, boating, and swimming are ideal summer activities! Do you have a recommended life jacket or floatation device for a two year old?
@spacemountaineer my DD has to “help” with the dishes.... water goes everryyywhheeeree but on the dishes haha
@mercury94 I was in the same boat as you that I hoped I would get any sort of cycle after pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. But instead, we had to use meds again *sigh*
@MrsJessS I also use PreSeed and literally only use about a pea to blueberry size. We don’t use the applicators either but just put a dot on before beginning
@NYTino24 good luck at the appointment! Hopefully they listen and take you seriously!
Any thoughts about this cycle? Meh. Same old, same old. Happy I ovulated and I want to be hopefully but I’m also realistic.
Any questions? Nope!
Rant/Rave/Brag: DH has been a lot better about his sperm afternoon his initial annoying reaction. He bought vitamins and said “I’m going to improve this morphology so much that the doctor is going to be dumbfounded” (when we had mentioned that his morph was 10% in 2016, she made a comment that “some places just aren’t as strict as they are”) Also, DH got a job! He’s very excited but also extremely sad to leave DD. He’s planning so many things for them over the next 1.5 weeks!
GTKY: what is something is something you look forward to doing with your kid(s) as the weather gets warmer? Being outside! She loooves just walking in the grass, playing in dirt, and blowing bubbles!
Just for fun: fill in the blanks You know you're a mom when no bodily fluids gross you out. I'm at that stage of parenthood when .
@mokay19 Glad he’s got a great attitude and new job! @bows22
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@mokay19 Congrats on YH new job! Glad he is open to vitamins and doing what he can to help. I finally just got DH to join the vitamin train, I have him on a multi, vitamin D and an Omega 3 with CoQ10. As for lifejackets, I bought this one and also another brand from Costco a couple years ago. My daughter (2.5) most likely will be within the weight limits this year. I do have the next size up too that someone gifted us. The important thing is making sure it is USCG approved, here is their website with more info. https://www.uscgboating.org/recreational-boaters/life-jacket-wear-wearing-your-life-jacket.php
I have a random question but I know there are several of you that have kids around my DD’s age (~1.5). Do/would you give them marshmallows? Or is that too much of a choking hazard? My MIL gave DD some Easter eggs with marshmallows in them and I was surprised but didn’t say anything (we didn’t give her any to eat though). She’s staying there overnight this weekend so trying to figure out if DH should say something or if that’s normal.
Ladies, my kid is the best sharer. A few weeks ago, he shared his HFM with me. This week, he shared a stomach bug. Now, if only he’s learn to share toys.
@bows22 I haven't given marshmallows yet. We actually went to get pie on Easter and I got s'mores pie (which I shared with her) that had mini marshmallows and I purposely avoided giving them to her. I've read they aren't supposed to have gummy stuff until age 5 so I just figured I'd wait on marshmallows too.
@bows22 I read about marshmallows being a choking hazard a few days ago. We haven’t done them, but I also try to avoid candy since DS seems to be sensitive to sugar and dyes.

@mokay19 My son hates traditional style life jackets, but is required to wear one on our boat. Now that he's over 30 lbs, we have him in this, and he likes it sooo much better. It is US Coast Guard approved Type V/III and he seems so much more comfortable in it when just hanging out on the boat. We slide his arms out of the floatie parts when he eats, because otherwise he can't reach his mouth with his hands (which is hilarious to watch).
@bows22 I've only given DS mini marshmallows and he has no problems with them, but he's 2.5. I also only give him one at a time, or I put them in his hot cocoa so they dissolve a bit and get soft.

Hi everyone, I just intro'd on the newbie thread. I recognize some of you from my BMB and TTC my last time around. I figured I would jump in here for today. Im not sure how much Ill participate in the dailies, but weekly threads are great!
What number are you trying for? #2
Month/Cycle? 1/1
WTO/TWW? WTO
Ages of other child(ren)? 20 months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Unsure. We just decided to try this past weekend, and I also just got my IUD out, so one part wants it to work this time, but the other part of me is feeling like this is crazy too.
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave/Brag: I live in the NE and I am just so happy that the weather is starting to perk up. We are finally getting buds on the trees, and its not freezing out.
GTKY: what is something is something you look forward to doing with your kid(s) as the weather gets warmer? Grilling and going on long walks in the city.
Just for fun: fill in the blanks You know you're a mom when you have no problem having something on your shirt, because it came from your kid. I'm at that stage of parenthood when Im not really surprised by much.

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
@MJDsquared@NYTino24@shamrocandroll thanks guys. we have a niece that’s a little older so I asked DH to find a way to casually say that DD maybe isn’t ready to eat everything that niece currently does. I don’t like to give too many instructions because I really don’t care what happens as long as she is safe and happy but I guess this falls under the “safe” category
I’m super late here so gonna post then try to catch up...
What number are you trying for? 2
Month/Cycle? 6
WTO/TWW? WTO
Ages of other child: 15 Months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Just thinking it’s going to take a long time again. This is the last month where the ages in the three babies of the family would be a year apart. I just want so bad for my second to be close in age to the others so he/she doesn’t feel left out later in life.
Any questions? Not right now
Rant/Rave/Brag: LO is starting to have more words. She says “go” “mama” “dada” and “nana (banana)” now. But she’s constantly “baby talking”
GTKY: what is something is something you look forward to doing with your kid(s) as the weather gets warmer? Just being outside more:)
Just for fun: fill in the blanks You know you're a mom when gross stuff doesn’t freak you out anymore. I'm at that stage of parenthood when you get an easy to style out the door hair cut along with a giant bottle of dry shampoo to make it last days between washes.
