Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Friday 4/19

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

    @chichiphin good luck at the RE!
  • @chichiphin I'm also working from home today.  I hope you can confirm you O'd!!!

    @flowntheloop Yay!  So glad the storm turned out to be a dud!

    @chellisam Enjoy the peace!

    @kbrown2385 Have so much fun in NC!!!

    @keikilove So glad yougot good news!  Looking forward to hearing it!

  • @chichiphin Crossing fingers for you!
    @kbrown2385 Stay safe!
    @keikilove Thanks! And yay for FW! I can't wait for mine! I don't tell my husband when mine is as I don't want to pressure him. He is the type that doesn't like being treated like "a piece of meat" LOL! However, it does seem there is something pheromonal going on because we almost always become a lot more active during that week anyway (even before we were TTC it was our pattern)!
    @bluebirdbluebird Welcome! Don't be intimidated! :) We are all here to help one another! And oh my gosh! Did you get the cabin fully repaired?
    @shamrocandroll Yay for a puppy!

  • @flowntheloop Thanks!  :) No, sadly the damage was really bad and it will have to be torn down and rebuilt. We have to clean up and inventory everything for insurance.  :(

    @shamrocandroll Puppy!! How exciting! I will also be walking that line this cycle of trying to be “casual” with MH about HIO while of course still being totally on top of it all in my head (sigh).
  • @flowntheloop what are Hemp Hearts?!

    @kbrown2385 safe travels!

    @bluebirdbluebird welcome to WTO! Sorry to hear about the cottage though:( I totally understand about getting a late start to the posts. Sometimes I feel so behind that I’ll just read, respond where I can and try again the next day lol

    @shamrocandroll good luck with keeping things low key like you want to:) it get sooo hard not to plan things out so I understand where you are coming from there! And yay puppy soon!!!!

    Month/Cycle: 6

    R/R: For my mental sanity I’ve been listening to some awesome podcasts. One is BFN and the other is Infertile Mafia. They both have some seriously funny ladies and make me laugh when no one else can at tough situations.

    CS/Q: natta yet.

  • @bluebirdbluebird I'm so sorry about the cabin!  That's so sad!  Yeah, I'm with you on that.  I'm not sure I'm capable of being casual.. Sometimes I wish I had a shifter for my brain and could control what gear I'm in.  :lol:

  • @chichiphin hope YH can be a trooper! GL!

    @flowntheloop those nasty storms can be so hard to sleep through when all you're thinking is "please don't let any tree branches fall on the house". Glad it ended up not being much!

    @kbrown2385 have fun in NC! Much needed after all these Peggy's!

    @bluebirdbluebird every so often the dailies get a little lopsided haha! Sometimes it's best to post and then just lurk so you at least get to feel involved with everyone

    @madcouplewithabox I need to hit up these podcasts!

    Month/Cycle: 22/21

    CD: 10

    WAYDTGKU: benched/BCP, PNV, Vitamin D, IVF process starts next month

    R/R: I'm off while DH is not so I'm meeting him for lunch! Otherwise I will be cleaning up the house today and hopefully being really productive with that.

    @rikiteacup So glad YH is healing well!

    @inthewoods23 Enjoy lunch!

    @madcouplewithabox Sorry about CD1, but thanks for the head's (heads?) up on the podcasts! I need to start making a list of the ones recommended to me.

    @kbrown2385 Have fun in NC! Sames re: might not post as much but will lurk, though who knows.

    @shamrocandroll I understand wanting to be casual but at the same time not really being able to. Even if you don't temp, you still can have a good when you're fertile--sooo.

    @bluebirdbluebird Sorry about the tree =/ but have fun with your parents!

    @chellisamI am imagining your life like an updated Mad Men scene, lol, and you're all hanging out in Peggy's office, being the creatives. (Have you ever seen Mad Men?)

    @flowntheloop Yeah, those nasty storms dumped themselves out a bit over where I am & petered out by the time they got to you. OR it was another system completely.

    @chichiphin Have fun hio!

    ETA: I kept hitting post before I am done! WTF, self. ::chugs green tea::
  • @madcouplewithabox I keep meaning to look for infertility podcasts. Maybe I’ll make dh listen to them on our drive today 🤣
  • @kagesstarshroom I'm still going to temp, I think.  I didn't while I was benced, and it was nice, but I hated not knowing when to expect AF for those 2 cycles.  Especially that first AL cycle that seemed like it would never end.

    @flowntheloop yay for no tornado!

    @chellisam everybody should go home today.

    @kbrown2385 enjoy your weekend in NC.

    @keikilove I really enjoyed your posts. I am looking forward to your next one.

    @bluebirdbluebird enjoy your long weekend!

    @shamrocandroll whatever works for you will be the solution.

    @madcouplewithabox sorry about CD1. tThank you for the podcast suggestions.

  • @rikiteacup We ended up getting to leave early, so that was a bonus!
  • Thank you @shamrocandroll @rikiteacup @chichiphin for the positive feedback!  I'm always somewhat concerned that I'm posting way too much--really long stuff and articles-- and some of it is out of the mainstream so I sometimes wonder if you guys are like, "Oooooookay, crazy lady...."  :#

    I posted the updates in TTCAL and the IF thread.  Hope you find some helpful info!
  • @shamrocandroll yeah, i temped when i was benched most recently too... I was "collecting data." ^_~*

    @madcouplewithabox Hemp hearts are a nutritious addition to meals. They are high in protein, omega-6s, and omega-3s. You can add them to just about anything. I like them on salads, homemade pizzas, in oatmeal, etc.
