Was able to get outside and do yard work yesterday. I love mowing the lawn and dh got out of work early enough to help me. I hate using the weed whacker so I’m glad he was able to do that part lol. Dh wanted to reorganize the garage so I can start pulling my car in so I helped with that. Sweet of him to want to do that for me and it was nice getting some of that work done together.

R/R: Rant: I didn't get to update here yesterday. *TW death DH's grandmother died yesterday. It was somewhat expected, but still sad. Especially because we were going to spend the long weekend celebrating his birthday, and now we get to spend it at a funeral. He had to bury his other grandmother on his birthday two years ago, so now he feels cursed. Rave: After my urgent care appointment yesterday, my ear is feeling much better! That is awesome. We lived in MA for a couple of years as well! We moved around from NH to CT to MA. The heat and the tornadic potential are the main things I dislike about living down South (besides loads of people with hyperconservative/backwards values), but there are lots of wonderful things about this area too!

After rural-ish Indiana I lived in the panhandle for a while, and I do miss it - warm weather, good food, etc. now I'm a norther-easterner and 3 years later I just now feel at home haha
@kbrown2385 - Yay for AF! (Lol) Hopefully Clomid is kind to you.
@MrsVP614 - What awful timing. I'm sorry for your loss.
@flowntheloop - I love mowing the lawn in the evening during sunset. I feel like a lot of people come out of their houses and walk, play, or do yardwork in the spring evenings.
@emeraldduchess - OOH! Peach crumble sounds amazing! That gets my vote. I'm supposed to bring a dessert for Easter, but since I'm going to be out of town, I just bought a frozen pie FX that O finally happened!
@inthewoods23 - I always have to get 8 hours of sleep, otherwise I start feeling drained by the end of the week. This week's average has been about 5 (not my fault!)
@shamrocandroll - Walks are so much nicer when it's bright and warm outside. Come on summer!

R/R: Down two pounds this week! I kind of hit a weight loss plateau and it's finally BROKE!
Rant = warning this is me whining!
So I'm just having a really hard TTC blip for the past two days. Yesterday was especially hard. I know I haven't been here that long in the grand scheme of things but the jealously/anger/guilt and everything are just really overwhelming at this point. I put my phone on airplane mode yesterday for a while just to force some silence in my brain and partly because a part of me didn't want my mom to call to hear me because she ALWAYS knows when something is wrong by my voice and I knew I would instantly just start crying. DH ended up trying to call me multiple times and was getting super worried and I felt like a jerk.
@brookert615 does your phone have a do not disturb option? That might be better in that you don't get all the notifications but you can allow certain contacts to still get notifications from - like YH.
@marebear15 not enough graduates lately 😢 and maybe all our menses are synchronizing? Lol

@inthewoods23 LOL I was thinking that about our menses synchronizing the other day. My friend told me women's cycles seem to synch up because everyone's cycle is trying to be on schedule with the moon--so you either aim to ovulate or AF aims to arrive on the new/full moon. AKA: it's possible! Anyway, I started going to bed earlier recently on days I have to get up earlier, and it was a good choice.
@brookert615 I'm so sorry about how you were feeling yesterday. I am glad you took some time for yourself, though, and that YH didn't get too worried. I always feel (stereotypically, I know) more emotional about things in general at the beginning-ish of my cycle? I love your little two temp chart, it's very cute.
@shamrocandroll "only about" 30!! Brrrr! I am the total opposite--give me all the heat. Anything below 55 is cold. (God, I had better get a job in the south, I am such a wuss now even though I'm from the NEast!) Beautiful pic!

R/R: Looking forward to the poetry festival coming up this weekend, but hoping today I can have a more productive day (in terms of grading, which I just keep NOT doing in favor of OTHER things to do that still are mostly important to do, but not as sucky as grading.)
@justkeepswimming8 I somehow guilted a local friend into doing it with me. She stays at home, so why she agreed to wake up at 5am with me, I have no idea, but the fact that someone else is counting on me to get my butt out of bed helps keep me accountable. Otherwise, I'd totally convince myself to sleep later instead.

@kagesstarshroom The thing about the cold is you can always add more warm layers! I can be outside comfortably in just about any temperature because I have the right outerwear for it. R/R: I started reading "Mata Hari's Last Dance" yesterday and it's taking me a little while to get into it. Hopefully I'll be able to spend a good chunk of time reading today. I also have to decide what kind of pie to make for Easter dessert. I have it narrowed down to peach crumble, blueberry, or peanut butter. Unless I see something else on Pinterest today, then I am back to square one!
CS/Q: Not the big temp rise I was hoping for, but I'll take it. I felt what might have been O cramping during the evening, so I *think* O happened some time last night. I know it takes 12-24 hours for a noticeable shift.
I vote for blueberry!!

you're able to get some more reading in today.
@kerco925 I guess we are cycle buddies! Sorry
for cd 1.
@flowntheloop I’ll help you with your mowing haha. I find it so relaxing! Sorry for your oil leak! Hopefully it’s an easy fix and not too expensive.
@kbrown2385 sorry for CD1. What is this lawn mowing and weeding you speak of? 🤣 With the snow and rains we're having this week that is nowhere on our radar
@MrsVP614 so sorry about YH's grandma!
@kerco925 sorry for CD1. Sometimes it's good to take a break from the madness trying to time things right!
@emeraldduchess hope you get to move over to the TWW soon! That shift is promising!
Month/Cycle: 22/21
CD: 8
WAYDTGKU: BCP, PNV, vitamin D this cycle, then IVF things
R/R: I feel like I need to start going to bed at 9 because going to bed 10 or later results in me feeling so tired in the morning. Just need to get through today, then I have first aid/for/aed training at work for half the day so the work week will feel mostly over after today!

@MrsVP614 I'm glad you're feeling better after that appt

@kerco925 I'm sorry for CD1

R/R: Our instructions are to HIO Thursday based on my LH levels in my b/w, and even tho my RE said I don't need OPKs this cycle, I am still testing and no surge so far. I really don't wanna miss O, because I can tell I'm close from how heavy & painful my ovary is like last time. If I get the surge, we start HIO tonight haha

@kbrown2385 Hope this new plan is the one that works for you!
@MrsVP614 I'm so sorry about YH's grandmother and that's awful this keeps happening on his birthdays. I'm glad you're feeling better, though!
@flowntheloop Good luck with your errands! Where do you live? I'm in NH, and I'd love some warmth right about now!
@kerco925 FWIW, I felt much more relaxed when I stopped temping while I was benched, but it was frustrating at the end of my cycles not knowing exactly what to expect AF. I hope whatever you decide helps you relax a bit.
@emeraldduchess I looove all things peach, but MH does not... so I would want the peach, but would end up making the peanut butter so I'm not the only one who eats it. But if I was at Easter and saw peach pie, I would be SO excited!
@inthewoods23 I've been trying to go to bed earlier, since I'm getting up at 5. It was hard to get used to last week, but I'm doing better this week!

That is awesome. We lived in MA for a couple of years as well! We moved around from NH to CT to MA.
The heat and the tornadic potential are the main things I dislike about living down South (besides loads of people with hyperconservative/backwards values), but there are lots of wonderful things about this area too!

@misshelen86 - Better get busy!
I'm supposed to bring a dessert for Easter, but since I'm going to be out of town, I just bought a frozen pie
@inthewoods23 - I always have to get 8 hours of sleep, otherwise I start feeling drained by the end of the week. This week's average has been about 5
@shamrocandroll - Walks are so much nicer when it's bright and warm outside. Come on summer!
@chichiphin - Are you only supposed to HIO once?
Month/Cycle: 12/12

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, PNV, baby aspirin, B6, B-complex, no caffeine or alcohol, HIO (hopefully getting tested for progesterone this cycle, and DH's SA)
R/R: Dr. appointments today, ugh. For me it's just a new patient appointment, so it shouldn't be terrible, except I hate waiting around in a doctor's office, and I have to explain all this heart stuff to them. DH is going to ask for an SA, so we'll see what this GP can do. We haven't had a GP since getting married and on the same insurance, so this is like 4 years overdue.
CS/Q: None yet, waiting for AF to leave.
Month/Cycle: 3

WAYDTGKU: CM, CP, RHR, OPK, BBT, FF, Premom, PNV, HIO as much as we can in FW
R/R: Spending the day trying to get back into a routine and doing some clean up from having guests this weekend. My car’s check engine light came on yesterday so took it to the shop which means taking DH to and from work.
CS/Q:
@misshelen86 – yay for pos OPK!
@kbrown2385 – I’m glad you got some yard work done. GL with clomid this cycle!
@mrsvp614 – so sorry for y’all’s loss. I hope that you can still celebrate DH’s birthday in some way.
@flowntheloop – sounds like you have a busy day today. I hope you can get some down time at some point.
@kerco925 – sorry about CD1. GL focusing on health this month – that is definitely a good thing to focus on (and control!)
@emeraldduchess – mmm all those pies sound delicious. I vote peanut butter if you were taking a poll lol FX that rise is O!
@inthewoods23 – yay for a kind of short week! I hope you get some energy today.
@shamrocandroll – wow 5:30am for walks! I’d love to get out and get my run in for the day that early but I can’t seem to get myself up.

@kbrown2385 GL this cycle w/ the clomid!

R/R: Looking forward to the poetry festival coming up this weekend, but hoping today I can have a more productive day (in terms of grading, which I just keep NOT doing in favor of OTHER things to do that still are mostly important to do, but not as sucky as grading.)

@kbrown2385 We planted a new meyer lemon and put lattice behind our Wisteria yesterday. I love doing yard work!
@chichiphin Good luck! We've been HIO every day for the past four days plus IUI today and I told MH he would be needed tomorrow - luckily he's happy to oblige. 😂 I say start early and often!
@MrsVP614 I'm so sorry for you and YH's loss.
@brookert615 Sending hugs. This process wears on all of us.
@marebear15 I hope your appointment goes well and you love your new doctor.
@shamrocandroll I love that you do morning walks. I wish I could fit in some exercise before work, but I ready wake up at 5:00, so that's not happening.
@emeraldduchess Peach or blueberry for sure. Peanut butter does not belong on dessert. Flame away. 😉

@justkeepswimming8 pre-guest cleaning is the worst! I feel like I'm hyper-anal and it takes forever to get done haha
@brookert615 aw friend I'm sorry. I totally understand how you are feeling. airplane mode/do not disturb is smart. I kept silencing my moms calls for a week after in march bc I just couldn't talk to people
