How many months have you been TTC?: on 3rd month
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: previously, just BD and taking prenatal. After lurking here a bit, I've since ordered Wondfo OPK and a thermometer. They should arrive tomorrow which is perfect because AF is scheduled to leave tomorrow.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): Hubby and I will be celebrating our 2 year married anniversary next weekend! It's first time TTC for both of us but we have 2 cats that are spoiled as fur babies should be looking forward to getting to know you all, but I hope I'm not here long! Best of luck and good baby vibes to you all!
How many months have you been TTC?: ***all the TWs*** began trying & conceived in February, miscarried in March, currently waiting for hcg levels to finish dropping. ***
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: BBT & prenatals.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): DH and I are both working on our doctorates and are church musicians on the side. No pets or living children yet, but we remain hopeful. I've been lurking for a while and am glad to get a chance to know some others in this process! The mixing of grief and hope is unlike anything I've experienced before.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Charting but horrible about remember to take BBT, BD, and Prenatals
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): **TW** a 3 year old son and 4 dogs. I am a MDO teacher 2 days a week and have a work from home job everyday. I LOVE to run. I did my first half marathon in December and am currently training for a mini triathlon in May.
How many months have you been TTC?: This is our second month.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Temping, OPK's (digitals and cheapies), pre-natals (pre-pregnancy One A Day's his and her pack), UpSpring fertility supplements, Pre-Seed, lots of BD!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): DH and I just got married last month (yayyyy for eloping....best idea EVER!). DH is a Paramedic, I'm an HR Manager. We have two dogs (Max and Tucker). Ummmm.....we live in Michigan (DH relocated here from Georgia to be with me). DH has a 25 yr old DS from a previous marriage; I lost a pregnancy in March 2018. Even though we're both AMA (shhhh, don't tell my eggs that!!), we are hopeful for a BFP! If it doesn't happen this month, I'll probably get us to the doctor.....I mean, seeing as how I'm over the age of 35 and all. Ugh, I really dislike being in that category!
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning from your experiences!
@em719 Welcome! Those are the PNVs I was on for a while, but I have been marching through a variety of different brands since then. Who knows, maybe I shall return to those. Right now, we're using Best Nest ("we" bc I also make MH take his daily!) Congrats on yr recent marriage!
Also, hi to all the rest of you who are new this week! Looking forward to getting to know everyone more.
Welcome @em719! If I'm not mistaken I think a lot of us are in the 35+ age category. You're in great company!

side bar: I've been lurking here for a while, and at first when saw everyone listing "PNV" I read it as "P in V" (as in... intercourse) Eventually I figured it out, but I still read it that way to myself. Anyone else? Just me? Cool.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
Hello! I work in the mental health field and live on the East Coast of the US. No kids, but one very rambunctious/neurotic pup (beagle/terrier mix), who loves ripping apart stuffed toys and seems to have a particular hatred for trucks and people carrying boxes. DH and I have been married for about 9 months. We love to travel as much as possible, and to enjoy all the benefits of big city life (seeing theater, live music, etc). That said, I also have a lot of introvert/homebody tendencies and I like to cook, bake, read and knit (very slowly). Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
@bluebirdbluebird - re: PNV, finally someone else said it so I didn't have to be the first! Thank you. Totally thought that and still think it when I see it!
I'm on the east coast too and my SO and I are around your ages! I'm 35, he is 40.
***TW started trying for the first time and conceived in Oct last year after having my IUD out in July. MMC in Dec. One failed d&c followed by a successful one. ***TW
Now two cycles into TTC again and nearing the end of the TWW.
I'm tracking CM and using OPK's. Will probably start temping next cycle if I don't see a BFP in a couple days.
I work in theatre as a writer and director and my husband and I also have a business together. We bought a house in 2017 that is lovely but very much a fixer upper so it's our hobby now as well. My favourite part though is seeing all the flowers come up - we Inherited some great landscaping!
@bluebirdbluebird welcome! I was confused about PNV too! It's not in the list of acronyms (I think) so I totally get it
@jandawg welcome! That's awesome that you inherited some great landscaping! When we bought our house the lot is nice and large but everything was overgrown and ugly. Like 3 foot tall thistle weeds ugly! It's come a long way but still needs lots of love 🙂

Hello! I work in medical software and live in Austin, TX. No kids, but one wonderful pup (siberian husky), SO and I have been together 4 years. We love to travel as much as possible, and enjoy being active and watching our shows together. I used to be a flight attendant and my passion is seeing the world. I want to visit every country in the world in my lifetime. The only thing I want more than that is to be blessed enough to be someone’s mother. I recently lost my father and my previously strong and wonderful mother has fallen apart because of it. I have been taking care of both of them (my dad before he passed and now my mom) and I have realized I will be a great mother and I want to enjoy caregiving for someone beginning life as well as my beloved parents facing the end.
SO has 3 DS from a previous marriage and I was pregnant once when I was young. I am quite worried about being able to conceive due to our AMAs. But I am hoping to hear some positive stories from you wonderful people.

How many months have you been TTC?: Just starting this month.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Right now we are technically NTNP, but lets be real, I just ordered OPKs and a new thermometer, so not really NTNP. I am also on PNV.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): **TW children and MC mentioned ** Hello, I have a 20 month old, and a super cute dog (in my profile pic). DH and I have been together for 15 years (high school sweethearts) and married fo4 6.5 years. I am a middle school math teacher, and DH is a web developer. When we tried the first time around, I had a miscarriage, and then it took us 5 months to get pregnant again. We just decided last weekend to try again, but I am super excited about it. I didnt think I would be, but once we got to talking, I realized that we both were very ready. Im looking forward to being back on this board.

@nolemama24 Welcome. Your story sounds exactly like mine! *TW child/pregnancy mentioned* I had my DD Nov 2016, had a lot of issues after, fatigue and weight gain being some of them. Tried working with my PCP to test my thyroid from June 2017-Jan 2018, she said it was fine. I did a couple Whole30s in that time and it only made my thyroid symptoms more clear and not bogged down by all the other stuff. Finally saw a functional medicine practitioner at 18 months pp (May 2018) and was diagnosed with low sex hormones and hypothyroidism on it's way to becoming Hashimoto's (TGAb were slightly elevated, TPO antibodies were fine). Got put on NDT since I have low FT4 & FT3, progesterone cream, and went 100% gluten free (gluten molecules can mimic your thyroid and can cause your body to attack your thyroid if you have Hashi's). Here I am a year later and finally feeling myself again.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs, tracking CM, prenatals
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We've been married for almost 8 years and we have 2 cats that are the queens of our house. I work for a performing arts center and my husband is an acoustical engineer. We bought our house 2 years ago and have been putting a lot of work into it and hope to add to our family soon!
Charting, OPKs, checking CM, taking the following supplements: prenatals, CoQ10 Ubiquinol 200mg, fish oil, and probiotics. Trying to eat a healthy diet with lots of veggies and less sugar, processed foods, and carbs (mostly bread, pasta, and other starches).
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
My husband and I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage in July. Don't have any kids, but I'm really hoping that will change! I've never even had a positive pregnancy test. Aside from my husband, the love of my life had been our Rottweiler, who was nothing but a big cuddle-love-bug. Unfortunately, he passed away about a month ago. I miss him terribly, but we are looking at getting another dog soon! I love to do crafts and sew. I really enjoy making costumes (I have won first place in 4 local competitions). I also enjoy watching movies and TV shows, cooking, and gardening.

When we tried the first time around, I had a miscarriage, and then it took us 5 months to get pregnant again. We just decided last weekend to try again, but I am super excited about it. I didnt think I would be, but once we got to talking, I realized that we both were very ready. Im looking forward to being back on this board.

I had my DD Nov 2016, had a lot of issues after, fatigue and weight gain being some of them.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have one DS born in March of 2017 (was on Feb ‘17 bmb). I became a SAHM after he was born. I enjoy reading, TV/movies, crafts, and am surprisingly enjoying getting into exercising and eating better! We no longer have any pets (hence why I felt I needed to change my username as mentioned above)
