R/R: up waaay early this morning. I think spring is finally here to stick around so we will be able to get out for some hiking today. I was able to weed one of the flower beds yesterday, so hopefully I’ll get the other one done. I can’t wait to go get all the plants for them and get some color in the front of the house.
CS/Q: looking pretty good. Should start my progesterone tonight.
@kbrown2385 I'm up super early too. I woke up at 3:30am and couldn't get back to sleep. Guhhh!
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 18/7
Timing: -5, -4, -3, 0 (x2), 2, 3 {Probably not spot on as I don't due any ovulation testing and I'm just basing this on cervical mucus consistency.}
Typical LP length: no idea
Testing: I might shoot for the April 11th or 12th? Maybe earlier?
R/R: Despite the pollen making me a little asthmatic, I'm really enjoying what spring has to offer this year! For example, this is a Little Sweet Betsy (Trillium cuneatum) hybrid/color morph that is growing near our seasonal stream. It is a native wildflower/plant. The blooms smell like a mix between lemon and rose petals.

CS/Q: nope

@kbrown2385 I hope you can enjoy a hike! I can’t wait to add flowers to my beds either! @flowntheloop spring is killing me this year. Asthma is fine, but allergies have been awful! That flower is pretty!
R/R: I am going in to work a bit late, so I planned to hit snooze a few times. Apparently I turned my alarm off, fortunately my dog woke me up! But now I don’t feel like getting up and doing anything. CS/Q:
@holly321 I absolutely love spring, but it doesn't love me back. By the time oaks, hickories, and ashes are blooming, I'm wearing a facemask outside full-time. >_< My car is currently covered in yellow and I just washed it on Sunday!
Me: 38 DH:38. Dating Anniversary: 1999. Marriage Anniversary: 2001. TTC #1 since 3/2019
@flowntheloop sorry spring is hitting you so hard! We moved from South Carolina this past summer and the one thing I don’t miss is the pollen bloom! Love that flower!
@holly321 no motivation in the morning is the worst. Thankfully the end of the week is almost here.
@kbrown2385 A hike sounds lovely! It is really windy here with lots of stuff blowing around, so not ideal for walking. Crossing F&T your progesterine helps this cycle!
@flowntheloop What a unique flower. The scent you described sounds amazing.
@holly321 I have done that before and needed to buy a back up alarm clock!! Also, did you try eating breakfast? Maybe your blood sugar was low.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: CD 19/9dpo
Timing: 0 and 2
Typical LP length: 14 days
Testing: tomorrow and then WFAF
R/R: I tested BFN this morning, blah. I will test again tomorrow and then WFAF. Now that I have accepted that my cycle is irregular mu plan is to just have more sex next month. Except.......
UTI symptoms are back. Womp womp. I will mention it today at my appointmemt.

@bobbyflies2020 sorry you may have a UTI, I haven’t had many, but they are miserable! And I never eat this early, so I doubt that is it. I am terrified it is the beginning of an autoimmune flair. @mrsvp614, that is an ugly chart! But timing isn’t that bad!
@kbrown2385 South Carolina is gorgeous! And thanks! I absolutely love Trillium! I'm hoping I don't have to use my albuterol inhaler (I try not to use it as it makes me really jittery and anxious). I'm not sure how this could affect my TTC? I may need to read up more on the topic. @bobbyflies2020 Thanks. This is the hybrid between Trillium cuneatum var. cuneatum(maroon color) and Trillium luteum (yellow color). Trillium luteum has a more lemony scent, so it was interesting to smell the hybrid version! Many people describe the scent of the maroon color morph as banana-like, but I think it smells a lot like spicy rose petals. And oh, man! UTIs are no good! I hope that clears up for you soon!

@kbrown2385 I have a tendency to kill everything I plant but you are inspiring me to consider trying again this year. Color is nice! Enjoy your hike!
@flowntheloop That flower you describe sounds like an amazing smell! Can’t wait to see more signs of spring here too!
@holly321 Good thing for the dog alarm! Hope you get some motivation!
@MrsVP614 Your timing isn’t bad! Has anyone talked to you about vaginal temps? It seems to help a lot of those who have more erratic temps.
@bobbyflies2020 Sorry for the BFN (it’s still really early!) and for the UTI symptoms.
Month/Cycle: 7/7
CD/DPO: 34/14
Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 11-13 days
Testing: BFN yesterday; WFAF
R/R: I have an appointment this morning to try acupuncture. The acupuncturist I chose specializes in fertility and is also a medical doctor so he can order tests and make referrals if necessary. I’m really excited to see what he has to say but also a little nervous.

@misshelen86 It is wonderful. There are lots of other fragrant native flowers which will be blooming in the coming months, so I cannot wait for that! Do you have any favorite native flowers in your area?
*crossing fingers and toes that my asthma won't be bad this season* I can always hope, right?
P.S. Good luck with the acupuncture!

@kbrown2385 I moved away from the Southern Appalachians for almost a decade (I'm originally from here), and I have to say there is no other place like it. It saddens me that more people don't cherish what we have here in terms of biodiversity and natural beauty.
Me: 38 DH:38. Dating Anniversary: 1999. Marriage Anniversary: 2001. TTC #1 since 3/2019
@misshelen86 I don’t have a green thumb, but I’m trying to change it! I found some YouTube channels that is almost an idiots guide to gardening. They’ve helped me a lot. I’ve killed cactus in the past. Here’s hoping I can turn that around this year haha
@kbrown2385 - Spring is so nice when it finally arrives! Way to go on those flower beds. Pics when you're done?
@flowntheloop - That is a beautiful plant that I've never seen before! Do you live in the mountains?
@holly321 - I wish I was back in bed this morning. I had to get up before the sun was up, ugh.
@MrsVP614 - A -2 timing has always brought me good luck. Maybe it will to you too!
@bobbyflies2020 - Sorry about the UTI. Are you going to track your O next time?
@misshelen86 - At least you have a longer LP this month? Have you been working on lengthening that?
AFM, I just about had a heart attack this morning when I accidentally told my phone to update itself and I wasn't on wifi. Somehow it did it without eating up my data though, which is good because I'm taking a trip at the end of the month and want to have data for it. DH always uses more than his half, lol. Yesterday, DH didn't feel like eating the dinner I had planned, so we went out to Popeyes. We got a meal that will feed us for 2 meals for just $8! I felt like such a frugal wife On the TWW front, I've been having gobs of CM, which of course is making me think I'm KU, even though I'm probably only somewhere between 5-10dpo.
@marebear15 We are in the Southern Appalachian foothills. We are in some of the lower elevations of the Appalachians, but we still get some of the perks (nice biodiversity). We are surrounded by old-growth oak & hickory forest, so I'm a happy girl.
If you go North or East of us just a bit, you get into some of the higher elevations. Edit: added something

@kbrown2385@flowntheloop: I’m a novice gardener too. The biggest thing I’ve leaned so far is how much easier it is to use native plants!! I kept trying to use whatever I thought was pretty- and then things would die in our Deep South humidity.
@misshelen86: sorry about the BFN. Very interested to hear about the acupuncture.
@bobbyflies2020: sorry about the BFN but 9dpo is still early!
@MrsVP614: I know it’s frustrating to feel like you didn’t HIO quite enough, but you got some, um, events in the FW! Don’t lose hope!
@lcking82 Amen to natives! Less pests and they help our endangered native insects (not to mention provide nutrition for other animals)! Some of our native pollinators specialize purely on native plants, so planting only ornamentals or nonnatives contributes to their decline!
Me: 38 DH:38. Dating Anniversary: 1999. Marriage Anniversary: 2001. TTC #1 since 3/2019
R/R: not really a rant or rave, but getting my progesterone level drawn momentarily. I feel pretty good that I ovulated, so hoping progesterone looks good too (looked good last cycle). We’re going camping this weekend with a big group of friends and I’m so excited!! Probably won’t be around the dailies for a few days.
R/R: I am excited to work from home tomorrow. I'll have to keep an eye on my H but I think this will be great.
CS/Q: according to FF, ovulation day was CD16 and not CD17. I disagree but it's just 1 day.

@kbrown2385 I can't wait to plant flowers too. It won't be until early May though. Everything looks brown right now.
@flowntheloop get on the BBT train! Ovulation testing isn't the best way to predict O either. It just tells you about an LH surge. Some women have a surge and no ovulation and then a second surge a few days later and they finally O. If this happens, you might think you're say 10 DPO (and AF is late) when in reality you're only like 5 DPO.
@holly321 the older I get, the more I want to be a lady of leisure. Having no commitment sounds divine to me.
@MrsVP614 another 3DPO gal! There's 4 of us currently. Your timing isn't bad. You are still in the FW and you only need it once in the FW for pregnancy to happen.
@bobbyflies2020 good luck at your appointment. Drink an entire bottle of cranberry juice, the real kind. This will help.
@misshelen86 sorry about the BFN. Your chart is gorgeous though! I am curious to see what the acupuncturist will say. Keep us posted.

@holly321 I think my phone only allows up to 3 snooze hits before it dismisses it. Maybe that's what happened? Good doggie for waking you up!
@bobbyflies2020 sorry about the UTI. Have you tried Azo to calm the symptoms?
@misshelen86 I'm so curious about the acupuncture. It mostly helps with the stress right? And not so much actually making you more fertile?

R/R: the helicopter mom/family drama continues! She sent a condescending email last night to DH which included telling him that [kid] would be absent for the next 2 meetings with no explanation for why. Then adds to contact [dad] "if you have any questions which you shouldn't". Damn woman! Get that stick out of your ass. She also asked that they respond to confirm that they got the email and that they understand it. DH plans on ignoring it because b*tch you don't run this team, DH does! He's so frustrated but I told him to just let it all roll off your shoulders.

@kbrown2385 You totally motivated me to work on my yard this weekend! I need to start pulling out what I don't want and planning for some new pollinator friendly plants.
@flowntheloop Love the picture! I love all the early spring flowers, too. Such a happy time of year.
@holly321 Whenever that happens, I assume I really needed the extra sleep. Hopefully you're feeling rested and have a good day once you get to work.
@MrsVP614 *TW* I've had great results at -3 and -2. *End TW* -2 is probably one of the best days to HIO. Don't count yourself out yet.
@bobbyflies2020 Ugh, UTI's are the worst! I'm sorry yours doesn't seem to want to go away.
@misshelen86 So sorry for the BFN. I was really hopeful for you. Good luck at your appointment though and let us know if you would recommend.
@ruby696 leaking moon roof?? Ohhh that sucks! DH was in the middle of writing up an email to his boss at the school and he asked me to look over it and I asked him about a few sections he had in there about us losing some sponsors (a portion of our funding is corporate sponsors). Come to find out this mom has made false claims that 1 sponsor left due to DH and another is looking to pull their money from us. Most of the team doesn't even know our full finances why would she? So stupid.

@inthewoods23: that's what I keep thinking, too - poor kid. Either he/she is in for rude awakening when they have to fend for themselves soon OR momma is gonna be calling all the shots for their entire life. Either way, no good.
@ruby696: your temp climb is just so pretty!!! (sorry about the moon roof though - my HS car had a leaky moonroof, and it was some little channels that were getting clogged, so ended up being super easy to fix by blowing some air through them?)
@holly321 I did the same thing! I turned my alarm off when I thought I hit snooze! DH came in & was like "I'm leaving now," & I was like "oh no!" but I still made it in time, despite having 15 instead of at least 30 mins to get ready.
@misshelen86 Ooo let us know how the acupuncture goes! A lot of the books I've read recommend it as something to try for fertility. That's rad the person specializes in it!
@marebear15 MH swears by Popeyes, which is good since there are a million of them where we live. It's his go-to lunch when he doesn't go home to eat/bring his own.
@ruby696 Yr moon roof sarcasm made me giggle. So sorry about that though! Maybe on the ride home it will not be rainy? It's terribly stormy rainy here, so I'm hoping it will slow/stop for me when I need it to later. I'll also second that yr temp climb is looking good. We can be optimistic for you since you are pessimistic
@MrsVP614 I have similarly what-i-consider-bad timing that FF says is "good" & I'm like "FF, yr standards are whack." At the same time, if you search the chart gallery for ppl who HIO only -2 O (& you have some more than that!), it reiterates the fact that it "only takes once." Hope that makes you feel better about this cycle at least a little? I am trying to use that fact to do so.
Month/Cycle: 6/5/2/AL
CD/DPO: 20/7
Timing: -2
Typical LP length: 14-15
Testing: Maybe 4/9? That's my Mom's bday & the day we HIO was my bday, so I feel like that's auspicious.
R/R: We have a bunch of thunderstorm/hail warnings for the day/torrential rain all day-- & for lack of a longer explanation, it's a big pain in the buns for a (now indoors) event I'm helping to set up later. / I *did* use the rain as an excuse to get the dept. to pay for me to park close to my building so I didn't have the walk the mile from where I usually park here & back ^_^*. And I went to an awesome poetry event last night that was super inspiring.
R/R: My temps haven’t dropped yet!!! I always have a dip somewhere between 4-6 dpo, but apparently not this cycle. I did have a higher temp for crosshairs than any other cycle by about .3 degrees, but I’m assuming that’s because I’m temping at a later time now. I had phantom kicks like all day yesterday and although I know it’s just my ute contracting and probably gearing up for AF, it was kind of freaky. I’m feeling kind of crampy now and I’m really hoping at least for a normal LP...

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@kbrown2385 Yay for sprucing up! We can’t plant until Mother’s Day around here since the overnight temps are so low sometimes compared to daytime. I lost tons of tulips one year, and they weren’t cheap. Now I stick to that rule for our region.
@flowntheloop Hope you’re able to keep your asthma at bay!
@MrsVP614 two is better than none, but I feel you on the frustration. We only got -3 in because I got faked out and didn’t wait for cross-hairs.
@misshelen86 So sorry for the BFN.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@marebear15 Oh that sounds tasty! I was expecting AF today but still waiting. Either I O’d later than I thought or my LP is getting longer. I didn’t do anything different last month to lengthen it.
@rikiteacup I agree that you probably O’d on CD 17
@inthewoods23 Wow what a crazy lady. I thought the same as you, that acupuncture is more about relaxation. Apparently it also helps to balance the hormones and stimulate blood flow to the reproductive organs. He claims I should notice some differences within 1-2 months (with my periods, cycle length and cervical mucous) so I’m interested to see if he’s right.
@ruby696 Oh no that sounds awful to have a leaking moon roof. Just a literal cloud over your head ugh. I can’t say if I recommend it or not yet since I’ve only had one session, but I really like the doctor so I’ll be sticking it out!
@kagesstarshroom Sorry for the yucky day but yay for getting to park closer!

@misshelen86 My erratic temps and open circles are probably due to timing. Through the week, I temp around 1am when I get up to go to work, usually after about 4 hrs of sleep. Saturday & Sundays I live more like a normal person, so I temp around 8am with a full night's sleep. So I take it all with a grain of salt, since I'm not super accurate.

Timing: -5, -4, -3, 0 (x2), 2, 3 {Probably not spot on as I don't due any ovulation testing and I'm just basing this on cervical mucus consistency.}

@mrsvp614, that is an ugly chart! But timing isn’t that bad!

@flowntheloop I miss SC so much! We lived in the Charleston area and would go back in a heartbeat!
@MrsVP614 sorry for the ugly chart, but fx for this cycle. With your timing you can still have a chance!

I felt like such a frugal wife
On the TWW front, I've been having gobs of CM, which of course is making me think I'm KU, even though I'm probably only somewhere between 5-10dpo.
If you go North or East of us just a bit, you get into some of the higher elevations.
Edit: added something

@kbrown2385 @flowntheloop: I’m a novice gardener too.

@kbrown2385 You totally motivated me to work on my yard this weekend! I need to start pulling out what I don't want and planning for some new pollinator friendly plants.
@flowntheloop Love the picture! I love all the early spring flowers, too. Such a happy time of year.

@bobbyflies2020 Sorry for the bfn =(
@lcking82 GL w/ the progesterone!
