I LOVE LOVE LOVE bagels and cream cheese. In general, though, I'm not a huge breakfast-food person. I'm more likely to eat a lunch or dinner product for breakfast. At present, I have several slices of pizza and a deconstructed tomato/mozzarella salad in a baggie at my desk awaiting my assembly. Pregnancy food is weird.
While we're on the topic of bacon, how does everyone prefer it cooked? I like mine suuuuper crispy. Like if I hold it in my hand too tight it'll disintegrate kind of crispy.
I love eggs benedict, and I'm sad I can't have it during pregnancy. I voted french toast, but I really need a combo answer because I love eggs, bacon, and toast too!!
Oooh @MsBeachNJ my dad makes the BEST eggs benedict! He only does them on Easter and Christmas. I can't get them out anywhere because they're never half as good. He makes the hollandaise extra lemony. YUM.
Everything! Including pizza. Actually you can leave oatmeal off the list. It would be my last pick... but maybe that's because I eat it nearly every morning and I'm sick of it now. And crispy bacon please! @MsBeachNJ I think you can still have eggs benedict at some places. Some restaurants don't make their hollandaise with raw eggs, you just have to ask. And you can get your eggs over hard instead of poached if you want. I love eggs benedict too!

I'm not crazy about breakfast food unless it's for brunch or dinner, but I do love bacon. I do love to eat leftovers for actual breakfast. Chili, pasta, steak, pizza, you name it!
@themadcamel, I'm not all about breakfast food either. I do like a good breakfast sandwich or something tex-mex-ish, but I really don't like the sweet stuff. I pretty much eat yogurt/fruit or oatmeal every day. We eat breakfast for dinner a lot, but that's more because it takes 2 seconds to scramble some eggs than that we looove to eat it
Give me a breakfast quesadilla any day! I will take an egg, cheese, and bacon or sausage quesadilla any day!

I have to go with eggs, though I'd want to have toast, and sausage or bacon with them (and potatoes are always nice but not necessary). I think I just miss over easy eggs so they are on my mind, but I love breakfast food in general - even pastry, though I hardly ever eat that! I love a good almond croissant. And donuts. I also love McDonald's breakfast sandwiches (biscuits not muffins), but only eat those on road trips. What I usually eat for breakfast is granola and milk, or raisin toast and peanut butter, which is not as exciting.
A: @lillywonderland, I concur with all of your thoughts regarding bacon from it being the only right answer to the proper way for it to be cooked. BACON! 🥓
Eggs are one of the greatest foods ever, in any way, shape, or form. Lately I’ve been really into omelets with bacon and cheddar topped with salsa (another greatest food ever).
I love pancakes. I only get them when we go out for breakfast because I can never get them to be fluffy yet fully cooked. Also like bacon, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. French toast when MH makes it for me.
I could eat breakfast All. Day. Long. Love everything about it! But my go-to favorite thing is and egg sandwich or breakfast burrito. For the egg sandwich it’s toast, mashed avocado, cheese, two super runny eggs, and plenty of Cholula. For the burrito, sausage, scrambled eggs, cheese, and salsa.
But really, all breakfast foods are winners with me.
I'm with @themadcamel and @RedBreast35... pizza, lasagna, leftover Chinese food... bring it onnn! Breakfast food is usually only good for dinner for me. I prefer savory foods for breakfast over sweet, and I'm pretty bored of eggs.
I love bacon but it has to be done right... in response to @duewithpu2, I'd choose a 4-5. It can't have any raw bits but also no burnt pieces. Middle of the road crispy is perfect!
I’m with @LilyASF42 - Breakfast all day! @lillywonderland I agree with your bacon doneness 👍 @kiddiesandkitties I agree, after having a homemade hollandaise sauce, so many others are seem watery/bland. Now I want eggs benedict!! I voted eggs bc that’s my go-to every morning with toast & mashed avocado...but my midwife said I could have runny yolks as long as they’re not straight from the chicken’s butt 😆 - like not dirty shells and whatnot. I’d really miss those yolks! Best eggs sold in-store imo are the Happy Eggs! Oh and since we’re (mostly) all bacon lovers, if you’ve never tried the bacon from the fresh meat counter at your grocery store...it’s ah-mazing.
@lillywonderland Every Saturday for breakfast we do corn tortillas with the egg cooked right on. We use those to do bacon tacos. So yummy. Highlight of the week.
Definitely pork roll egg and cheese on a kaiser roll 🙌 could eat one every day. Breakfast burrito is a close second for me and @LilyASF42 Cholula on everything

Bacon: I like it firm and crispy (stands straight when you pick up a slice) but not at the disintegrate stage yet.
And crispy bacon please!

The saddest part about living as rural as we do currently is no close Waffle House for 2 am breakfast food.
Also, beignets. I so want them. And I've been craving Mickey waffles, but a trip to Disney is not in my future. *sad trombone music*
