GTKY: what is your go-to baby shower gift when you're a guest? 
Either a cute 3-6 month outfit and board book or recently I've given a play mat to a couple friends.  It's a super simple one from ikea but so versatile and flat fold up so good for compact apartment living that's common here. Ds used it for back play and tummy time as an infant then it was great for when he could sit up later too. You can move the toys around so we could get him to stretch his neck one way or the other.

How are you feeling?: I woke up this morning with a cold - everyone at work has been sick since the beginning of the year. I was starting to think I had made it through the season for the first time without getting sick, but I was not that lucky. Other than the cold, I feel good. I had a lot more energy at the end of last week and into the weekend.

GTKY: what is your go-to baby shower gift when you're a guest? I haven't been to many baby showers, but I'll typically purchase swaddles or onsies from the registry.

GTKY: what is your go-to baby shower gift when you're a guest? I like to get a few things for the mama, like a special sitz bath, Mother's Milk tea (if she's BFing), etc. My other go-to is a custom bunny lovey made by one of my friends --- babies love them! Pickle still sleeps with hers every night.

Upcoming Appointments: nothing for a couple of weeks

How are you feeling?: good! A little tired from having to get up and pee so much at night but for the most part can’t complain.

Rants/Raves: we are dog training and it’s going awesome! A few weeks in and our pup is officially off of the furniture, out of the dining room while we are eating, no more jumping or barking. And she is listening to me like a champ! I was nervous about a high energy dog and baby but am feeling much better now.

Questions: not right now

GTKY: what is your go-to baby shower gift when you're a guest? I don’t have a standard gift. If it’s a friend who is out of town I normally will either buy a podster (one of my all time baby favorites!) or a collection of some of my favorite kids/baby books. If it’s a good friend in town I will get them something nice from their registry usually around $100. Family I will get them a big item off of their registry.

Rants/Raves: I’m volunteering with a golf tournament this week, and instead of my usual medium polo, I had to get an XL to make sure I wasn’t sporting a polo crop top

Really kinda depends. I try to do one thing from the registry and one thing off registry

@heml the podster is a newborn lounger. It was highly recommended to me by girlfriends when I was pregnant with my first. Both of my kids slept amazing in it. You can easily move it around the house or travel with it. It’s kind of like the doc a tot but slightly elevates the babies head and is waaay less expensive. If you just put podster into amazon it should pop right up. Truly great product!!

I forgot how common/standard baby registries were in the states...this week's gtky isn't as interesting as I thought it would be haha. I don't think I've been to a single baby shower with an official registry.... at most it's "woodland animals theme in nursery", "cloth diapering X brand", or "tight living space,  collapsible and versatile if possible" lol
