Delivered at Mt Sinai West - how did you add your baby to your insurance?

I’m trying to verify my baby’s eligibility but the hospital didn’t give me any documents with my baby’s name or birthdate at discharge. The birth certificate won’t come for 4-6 weeks which will be too late to meet the 31 day insurance deadline. Anyone else deliver at Mt Sinai West and have this problem? Did they give you a temporary document that I didn’t receive? Is there somewhere I can call to request this document?
