All I can say is WTF to this stupid snow!!!

2 out of the 9 employees I manage actually made it to work. A bunch of people are stuck on the hill leading into our building complex and there's a literal pile up of cars attempting to make it up. The people who got a little traction made it into the first building's lot - which is full so no one can park.

Everyone is panicking.

My WTF is actually from yesterday. Why is good help so hard to find? 

Our receptionist doesn't tell us when our clients have arrived. Our office is long and skinny, and my Dad's (my boss) and my offices are at the very end, the furthest away from reception. At around 2:40 yesterday we were wondering to ourselves where his 2pm client was, thinking maybe she forgot (even tho we confirmed) or maybe it wasn't an in-person meeting and she thought we were supposed to call her? Turns out she had been sitting in the lobby for 45 mins but the receptionist went looking for my dad at 2:00 when she got there, couldn't find him, sent him a text (which he never looks at), then they just sat up there making small talk for 40 mins. WTF? DO YOUR JOB. My dad is terrible at wandering off so yes there are days when he disappears and we can't find him but OMG try again! 45 mins! I have to have a talk with her but I'm admittedly terrible at managing people so I'm waiting until I'm less mad, lol.

My coworker is at home today because she "worked stupid late last night trying to get things done and wants to be grumpy and tired in the comfort of her own home". OKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK welcome to being an adult? You can't WFH every time you're sad, tired, grumpy, or the weather isn't 75 and sunny (it's like 50 and rainy here, so I figured she probably wouldn't come since apparently rain boots and umbrellas aren't enough to stop her from melting in the rain during the 6 minute walk from the parking garage). Otherwise no one would ever come into the office...

I knew today was going to be a mess! *TW LO mentioned* DH is at the FH working a 24 and daycare gave us less than 2 hours notice that they were closing early. I have an hour commute in good weather, meaning I had a max of 30 minutes before I had to leave my students to pick DS up. Thank god my boss had extra staff to cover my class. Luckily the IL were able to get him and they had a car seat, but even then it took them an hour to get to him. */TW* We are talking about a couple of inches here, nothing too abnormal. I had anxiety ramping up the last couple of days and noW i can’t catch my breath. It’s more yawning and chest pressure than full blown attack, but it’s annoying. I’m trying to relax, but I really need to find a new place ASAP.

Yea theyre going to hear about it at my appt Friday. Their communication sucks in that office but the doctors are amazing.

Last minute meeting called at work to tell us our new system go live date was moved from October 1 to August 20th, like WTAF?! I hate when they rush new systems because literally nothing goes right.

@kimmer1412 you can say that for systems and when production gets moved! Never goes well!

We just got the news that we will be moving our office to a new location, in a WEEK! We have been here for 15 years and we have all the junk and paperwork to show for it. Including 20 two-hole punches. There are three of us that will need to box up and be ready for the move. So charmed.
