Rants/Raves: I used the Walmart grocery pickup for the first time today and omg where has this been all my life?

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 9/12 / 8 +4

Baby is the size of a(n): Raspberry

Upcoming Appointments: The 13th for another ultrasound and repeat blood work.

How are you feeling?: Overall ok. My symptoms are coming and going which definitely stresses me out. Still get anxious that something will go wrong.

Rants/Raves: This one is a combo of both. I have a work trip this week and while I am excited to have some "alone time" and eat all the delicious food, I am anxious about it due to the long hours and having to pretend to drink in front of all of my co-workers. I really just don't want anyone to find out.

    Questions: Nah

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? Yes, and I feel very meh about it. Really wanted the Patriots to lose, but it was also slightly cool seeing Brady make history. Even if I don't care for him much, I can't deny that he really is the best.

Rants/Raves: I have my belated honeymoon cruise in 19 days, nervous to be away from my 2.5 year old, it will be the longest I’ve been away from him.

Questions: Anyone else hate the wait until you can finally see and hear the little ones heartbeat.. I don’t get to see/hear that until the 20th!

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? Yes, and Yay Pats! But the whole thing was super boring!

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 9w tomorrow

Baby is the size of a(n): piece of popcorn

Upcoming Appointments: Next week Wed - If all is well might tell a couple friends but who knows.

How are you feeling?: Ok, tired and some random boob pains but nothing much beyond that. Oh almost forgot - can never sleep or stay asleep anymore.

Questions: Why am I crazy and keep trying to use my doppler? Someone please take it away from me because it is stressing me the f out!

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? yes and it was beyond lame. So disappointing

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 9/15 - 8 weeks 1 day

Baby is the size of a(n): Wild strawberry

Upcoming Appointments: Bloodwork this Thursday for the genetic testing (we won't find out gender). Next appointment at 11 weeks and change 2/26.

How are you feeling?: Less nausea the last 48 hours which while I'm enjoying, also has me nervous. Though I am famished and so tired...

Rants/Raves: Got my maternity clothes from my parents house this weekend. Super excited to not be squeezing into my regular pants everyday!!

    Questions:

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? I did and it was boring. I like that Maroon 5 played their older stuff, I didn't have a problem with the halftime show like a lot of people seem to. The game itself, I was cheering for the Rams, but their offense was terrible... overall I was underwhelmed by the game and the commercials.

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 8w1d EDD Sept. 15th

Baby is the size of a(n): raspberry and the weight of a paper clip

    Upcoming Appointments: Thursday!

How are you feeling?: nervous, tired, and either famished or completely full. There’s no in between.

    Rants/Raves:  Nah.

    Questions: not now

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? Ugh. So boring. I went to bed before it was over and missed half time because I was putting DD to bed.
  • @mommyshark13 ; Walmart Grocery Pick-Up is amazing.  I just wish they did a better job with produce.

@supermom34482 ; I know I would be the exact same way with a Doppler, hence why I haven't allowed myself to get one.  I may break down later in pregnancy though.

Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Sept.14/8wks2days

Baby is the size of a(n): Rasberry

Upcoming Appointments: I had my first appt last week and won't have another until my first Specialist Ultrasound on March 7th.  I can't wait to see the specialist; I love her and she is so great at her job.

How are you feeling?: I think my Hypothyroid pills are starting to work as the symptoms for that seem to have mostly disappeared.  I'm often nauseated or dizzy now.  I'm always hungry.  I've been going to the gym 2-3 times a week, but I'm still gaining more than I would like in the first trimester.  Maybe I should just tell myself that its muscle from going to the gym more often.

Rants/Raves: I have to brag on my husband.  He brought dinner home from my favorite sketchy taco/burrito truck and then unloaded the dishwasher and washed all of the dishes in the sink while I got some play time with DD.

    Questions: None right now.

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? I watched the last minute and half of the game and thought this must have been such boring game when I saw the score.  DH doesn't watch football and I only watch OU College football as it is my Alma Mater.

  • Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 8w 3d

Upcoming Appointments: first appointment is Thursday finally!!! Hoping for an ultrasound to make this feel real.

How are you feeling?: Tired. Heartburn. Sore boobs. Nausea has not been around the past couple days... But not getting my hopes up that I'm past it.

Rants: got my first migraine since being preggo yesterday and was very sad I couldn't take excedrin. Tylenol does nothing for those. Anyone have experience with migraines and natural remedies? I try pressure points and just staying hydrated. A nap usually does the trick but not exactly possible at work.

Raves: The weather!!! 70 today, 75 Thursday. Bring. It. On.

Questions: unrelated. Going to nyc next weekend to see some friends. Any restaurant/ non museum suggestions? I've been a few times and always enjoy just walking and exploring neighborhoods.

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think?
Yes. Blah. We were at our neighborhood brewery which was tough for other reasons (oh, craft beer I miss you) but they were doing pretty solid raffles. No, didn't win anything . And the game itself- you ladies covered it all.

Upcoming Appointments: 11-12w scan on 2/19 (I'll be right on the edge at 11w2d)

How are you feeling?: I sound like a broken record - generally feeling good with minimal symptoms, which in turn is making me unnecessarily paranoid!

Rants/Raves: After the crazy cold of the past couple of weeks, it's supposed to get up to 65 here on the east coast today! Hoping to take advantage of the sun by sneaking in a walk or two during work.

    Questions: No

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? I made it til halftime, then went to bed.

@pennylane91 i get migraines too, usually use excedrin migraine, but that’s out of the question with being pregnant. I’ve heard peppermint oil can help, also make sure you are eating foods high in magnesium! Let me know if the peppermint oil helps, never tried it before..

    @Gasbarro2011 ; I'm an OU alum, too! Boomer! :)

Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 8w4d, due 9/13

Baby is the size of a(n): wild strawberry

Upcoming Appointments: 2/19 for my first full OB appointment

How are you feeling?: My symptoms come and go. Some days they are super strong and I feel like absolute crap. Other days, I sometimes kind of forget I'm pregnant. The most annoying ones, though, are nausea right around dinner time (dangit, I'm hungry, but then the thought of prepping or eating food makes me want to barf!), and shortness of breath. I teach a full-day class once a month, and I could barely speak in full sentences yesterday. Everyone I talk to says it is very normal and it's hormonal. If it gets any worse, I'll call my dr.

Rants/Raves: Panera peach blueberry almond milk smoothie is LYFE right now

    Questions: nah

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? I sort of watched it--it was on in the background. Snoozefest!

Upcoming Appointments: just had my follow up with my doc today after my dating ultrasound and initial bloodwork. All is good. Next doc appt is March 5 .

How are you feeling?: very tired as I am struggling to stay asleep at night.

Rants/Raves: my hips have been quite sore so I saw my chiropractor yesterday. Feeling a bit better today. I won't be able to hear baby's heartbeat until March 5, and that feels soooo far away. It's tough not knowing if things are going okay in there.

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think? No, we did not. We don't have TV and don't care much for the superbowl.

  • Hi everyone! I was originally in Group 3, but had my first ultrasound today, and they say my due date is 9/14! Same as @Gasbarro2011 and @mommyshark13. I’m a FTM, going through this with DH, and live in the Seattle area, currently and unusually covered in snow.

Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 9/14

Baby is the size of a(n): gummy bear!

    Upcoming Appointments:

1st ultrasound was today-heartbeat was so cool to see.

    How are you feeling?:

The last 2-3 days, I’ve been feeling great! I only had nausea for a few days off and on in my 6-7 wks, and it wasn’t terrible. Mostly just tired, emotionally sensitive, and bloated. I have to eat every 2 hours or so, or else I get super hangry. Symptoms change day to day though, so I take it as it comes.

    Rants/Raves:

Telling family members the news, and having them instantly respond with horror stories. I don’t need to hear that! C’mon people.

    Questions:

anyone else have twinges when they laugh, cough, or sneeze where their ovaries are? I’m not worried, just curious.

GTKY: Did you watch the Superbowl? What did you think?

Meh-I halfway watched while doing other things. Commercials were unremarkable, game wasn’t riveting. I’m not a huge football fan, though I do understand the game.
  • @supermom34482 yay!!! I’m pretty sure I found it the other day on ours too, but not 100% yet. It’ll feel like such a relief to know for sure! Glad you’re excited for your appt!
