Ha, I have no idea what side its supposed to be on (and I think it varies if its a transvaginal US or not?) I paid no attention to it with my first daughter. I wasn't even really meaning to compare for this reason, but out of curiosity I pulled out my first US from my daughter and saw that my ultrasound pictures from 7 weeks 3 days with this little one, and from 8 weeks with my first daughter, look identical in terms of where the baby is attached. Guess we'll see!

Totally sent our latest ultrasound to the “gender experts” for another guess. Haha they still say girl now based on skull theory. All for fun We shall see

I think I posted this in an earlier thread.  I’ve done the Chinese predictor 3 times now and it’s  RIGHT again! I do them for fun but in my case, 3 for 3! I got my nipt back this week!!

eta: I know it’s a coincidence but wow. I felt like it was a boy and I was wrong. I called it with my first two.

@rms924 congratulations! Having a girl? That’s great! Which Chinese chart did you use? I feel like there are 2 different one out there.. one uses lunar age and one doesn’t.

@septoctkids the lunar age one! AND (don't laugh) there's also a Mayan one that said girl too! I can't believe it...! Tbh, I am happy the baby is healthy (low risk) but I am nervous. I don't have a relationship with my mom (long story) so I am super nervous about having a daughter. I feel like I am flying blind.

@rms924 the Mayan and Chinese lunar one say girl for me too. I will let you know if they are true for us next week! I’m sure you will be a wonderful mom to your daughter. You will do everything to make sure you have a special relationship with your daughter that you didn’t have with your mom. My mom lost her mother at a very young age, and it’s made her a fabulous mom. She always goes above and beyond to ensure a strong relationship between us since she never got that chance with her mother. I’m excited for you!

I should know by the end of next week but she said it may possibly be the following Monday. I had my blood drawn yesterday. With my son it took 6 days to come back so fingers crossed it’s quick! I’m very impatient. Lol

Healthy is all I'm truly hoping for,  but I hope and have this gut feeling it's a girl. No previous pregnancies! I'm too nosey... There's no way I can wait longer than I have to to know the gender. I bought a Sneak Peek kit. Can't wait to do it and then confirm it's results at 20wks.

Gender experts, Chinese calendar and several other old wives tales were correct for us! I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but it was fun to play along! We are so excited!!!

babybmp.com was correct at 6 weeks but wrong at 10. Also, conception timing with ovulation/ Shettles was incorrect as well.

I did the gender experts for fun at 6 weeks and it said girl then just did it again at 10 weeks and said boy. All the Chinese calendars say Boy and old wives tales say girl. I’m doing early bloodwork at one of those ultrasound boutiques (would be $400 at my doc) and then I will confirm at my anatomy scan. I don’t want to wait 2 months as it’s my last one, might as well find out.
