Chemical Pregnancy?

How long do you get a positive pregnancy test after chemical pregnancy? It’s been a month since my blood test confirmed a chemical pregnancy. I spotted for 2 weeks this month and took a test and it was positive.

    It can vary quite a bit from person to person, and it also depends on how high your number was.  With both my CPs my HCG never even got above 50 so within a week I was getting negative tests.  Was your HCG tracked to zero or did they just confirm the loss because of falling numbers?   If your HCG wasn't tracked to <5 there really is no way of knowing for sure if this is residual HCG or a new pregnancy.  I would recommend going and getting betas done 48 hours apart to be sure.

    I was a 6 and then they confirmed two days later I was down to a 4. That was one December 24th. I did a test Saturday and one again today and both positive. Trying to not get my hopes up!

    You wouldn't turn get a positive HPT with HCG that low so I would definitely say it's a new pregnancy.
