I'm going to go with "nerd" because he thinks that's the biggest compliment.
Tuesday night he wanted to cuddle with me and I was like, absolutely not, I need all the space. Which was super weird, usually I love cuddling, but some reason my lovely pregnancy hormones decided to make me break down crying at the thought of being touched.
So Wednesday night I told him that he was welcome to try again, but I made no promises of how my body would react. So once we're cuddling what does he choose for pillow talk? Database errors, and what the most likely cause of my client's strange bug is. (We're both in computers, and very bad at not talking shop.)
The strange thing is it was perfect. I guess I'm a nerd too.
Gem? Pain in the ass? I can't decide. Yesterday I went all day without vomiting until DH made this beautiful dinner of pesto chicken, roasted potatoes and broccoli, and a greens salad. I took one bite and was puking so hard that I peed all over myself and the bathroom floor. He helped me clean up, walked to to the shower and said, "Once you're cleaned off, wanna go to booty-town?"
I am glad you're still attracted to me through this mess and I love you but are you fucking kidding me?
Pain in the ass at the moment. My Ob has me on modified bed rest for a few weeks now, basically essential activity only and definitely no cleaning or standing over the stove for an hour. Our house is trashed, Christmas decorations are still up and we have been living off of take out. I constantly have to remind him to do even the most basic things and he expects a pat on the back even when he does a simple task like running the dishwasher with half of the dirty dishes ::eyeroll:: When he has to run a quick errand he always takes the easier of the two kids and leaves me home with the one that we both know is more challenging.
My husband really is amazing and has been working crazy hours lately but I am at my wits end. Hopefully at the end of this he might start to appreciate all of the things I do on a daily basis.

....really great friend. He's always on my side, no matter what, even if I change my mind a week from now.
I've been cooped up due to the rain and feeling down. Today is the first day in a week that it didn't rain. He left something important at home and needed me to bring it to his office. I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose to get me out of bed and into the sun. My husband is my person. My McDreamy.
Actual footage of me when he's trying to talk to me about something serious
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
