Re: Why My SO Is Awesome 1/5

  • I'm so glad to hear so many of us have great support from our SO!

DH has been amazing to me. I mean, he always is, but he's stepping up even more with this pregnancy!

PLUS, he talks to baby every night. Tells baby to stick and keep growing. For some reason, it helps ease my anxiety.

  • My husband is literally the best. He's the most attentive and loving man on the planet. He will do whatever I need whenever I need it. He's so selfless, I am the luckiest woman alive.

He does the dishes when I am nauseous, he does whatever when I am nauseous. He will drive wherever to get food. He handles DS when I've had a long day with him. Just amazing.

  • I LOVE all the love for our SOs on this thread!

MH and I have always been so active, particularly around the house (we're house flippers on the side for fun). I thought I would have more energy than I have lately, but he has been so wonderful about making sure I am resting and taking care of reno projects I normally would have without making me feel like a burden. AND this morning after I got out of an excruciatingly long meeting at the office he called and said he would like to take me on a special date tonight, and if there was any particular food that I wanted or anything that was grossing me out (meat has been making me gag).
    Me: 26 | DH: 27

Benched 11/18 - 12/18 for testing with new RE

  • @suzycupcake my DH also has a servant's heart, and he too has become to adept at just figuring out what I need as things change with me.

DH has always taken care of me, but lately he's gone above and beyond by chasing around our 11 month old and generally taking over all household chores. I go from starving, to sick, to starving again in no time flat and he's always ready to get me whatever I need.  A real great guy.

  • I may not have an SO or DH, but all of your beautiful answers give me hope that someday in the future I will find someone to love as wonderful as all of yours ❤️

@oklahomak Hey! Fellow real estate-er over here! We don't flip, but I'm an agent & we do our own rentals & renovations when we buy a new one.

@deecherise He is out there,  girl. Sometimes you have to weed through some frogs to find your prince.
Rainbow baby Dean is due 2/17/17!

  • And in the meantime @deecherise, maybe that prince will be your baby. Maybe you will have a boy in there <3 I feel like Oprah though knowing mine's a boy. Everyone gets a boy!

  • My DH does way too much, he has the boys every morning and evening because our nanny has annoying hours, and I have a long commute. He works what is officially a PT job, but often requires FT hours. He is a PhD student. He volunteers 5-15 hours a week for our synagogue. I'm sure I'm missing stuff.
And when I told him that even though we wanted this baby I was worried because he already has too much on his plate. He said "I'm not worried, we went from 1 to 2 without a problem, we will find a way to make 2 to 3 work."
